A secure double spectrum auction scheme

With the arrival of the 5G era,wireless communication technologies and services are rapidly exhausting the limited spectrum *** auctions came into being,which can effectively utilize spectrum *** of the complexity of the electronic spectrum auction network environment,the security of spectrum auction can not be *** scholars focus on researching the security of the single-sided auctions,while ignoring the practical scenario of a secure double spectrum auction where participants are composed of multiple sellers and *** begin to design the secure double spectrum auction mechanisms,in which two semi-honest agents are introduced to finish the spectrum auction *** these two agents may collude with each other or be bribed by buyers and sellers,which may create security risks,therefore,a secure double spectrum auction is proposed in this *** traditional secure double spectrum auctions,the spectrum auction server with Software Guard Extensions(SGX)component is used in this paper,which is an Ethereum blockchain platform that performs spectrum auctions.A secure double spectrum protocol is also designed,using SGX technology and cryptographic tools such as Paillier cryptosystem,stealth address technology and one-time ring signatures to well protect the private information of spectrum *** addition,the smart contracts provided by the Ethereum blockchain platform are executed to assist offline verification,and to verify important spectrum auction information to ensure the fairness and impartiality of spectrum ***,security analysis and performance evaluation of our protocol are discussed.

MOPO-HBT: A movie poster dataset for title extraction and recognition

Real-world images often encompass embedded texts that adhere to disparate disciplines like business, education, and amusement, to name a few. Such images are graphically rich in terms of font attributes, color distribution, foreground-background similarity, and component organization. This aggravates the difficulty of recognizing texts from these images. Such characteristics are very prominent in the case of movie posters. One of the first pieces of information on movie posters is the title. Automatic recognition of movie titles from images can aid in efficient indexing as well as information conveyance. However, it is accompanied by other texts like the names of actors, producers, taglines, dates, etc. Though the organization of components is somewhat similar across different film industries like Tollywood (West Bengal), Bollywood (Mumbai), and Hollywood (Los Angeles), the graffiti patterns differ in multifarious instances. To address the problem of movie title understanding, we propose a dataset named MOvie POsters-Hollywood Bollywood Tollywood (MOPO-HBT) that encompasses movie posters from the aforementioned industries. The entire dataset is publicly available (http://***/11564) for research purposes. The baseline results of title identification and recognition were obtained with a CNN-based (Convolutional Neural Network) approach, wherein the titles were extracted using the M-EAST (Modified-Efficient and Accurate Scene Text) detector model. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2023.

The rapid expansion of the Internet of Things (IoT) brings numerous benefits but further presents fresh difficulties, especially in terms of security. The distributed and interconnected nature of IoT devices makes them susceptible to various security threats. An Intrusion Detection System (IDS) plays a crucial role in safeguarding IoT networks by monitoring, detecting, and responding to potential security incidents. The Internet of Things (IoT) connects billions of devices, sensors, and systems, transforming industries and everyday life. However, this extensive interconnectivity also introduces significant security risks, making Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) a critical component for safeguarding IoT environments. Feature selection is a crucial aspect of building effective Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS). Selecting relevant features not only helps in achieving better classification accuracy but also contributes to reducing false alarm rates. In the proposed system a moth flame optimizer is utilized to select the efficient features from the dataset, overall accuracy of over 97%. Graph classification is a hot topic of machine learning for graph-structured data, and it is also a very potential and valuable research. However, the difficulty of graph classification is challenging and special, which is quite different from the normal classification problems. One of the most difficult points of graph classification is that the numbers of vertex neighbors in graphs are usually variable, which makes the number of weights uncertain and ambiguous. Recent work such like the graph attention network apply the transformer on the graph neural network. However, the learned attentions cannot strictly reveal the importance of each part of graph, which makes the model less explainable. Moreover, for small datasets, it performs less effectively because of the excessive parameters. In order to overcome these difficulties, we propose a lightweight model with an edge weighting function based on the probability distributions of node pair features learned by the Gaussian mixture model. Although the proposed framework is simple, the experimental results shows its effectiveness on small datasets. © 2024 IEEE.

The"SI-LERT"(Assistive Device for Hearing Impaired Drivers), represents an innovative solution aimed at enhancing the safety and accessibility of individuals with hearing impairments while driving, particularly in detecting emergency vehicles. Combining a Raspberry Pi 4 and USB microphone for siren recognition, this device transmits signals to an ESP32 microcontroller integrated into driving glove via WiFi. Upon detection, the microcontroller activates micro-vibrators embedded in the glove, providing tactile feedback, and simultaneously displays an image of the approaching emergency vehicle on an OLED display. This innovative approach not only empowers drivers with hearing impairments to respond effectively to emergencies but also marks a significant advancement in assistive technology, offering a comprehensive solution that combines tactile and visual feedback to enhance road safety and driver independence. While the device shows potential, it needs more work and testing to fix problems like limited number of datasets. © 2024 IEEE.

In the developed financial services industry, identity is defined using government-issued identification cards. Nevertheless, the primary obstacles in the consolidation and authentication of these data in connection with large-scale anti-money laundering (AML) requirements have significantly increased the challenges for individuals seeking to enter the financial system. This renders it exceedingly unprofitable and a greater risk for banking systems to engage with developing economies that might lack even the most primitive forms of identification. Furthermore, the process of establishing a banking account is packed with difficulty as a result of protracted processing times, substantial report obligations, and ambiguity surrounding the utilization of confidential customer data. The objective of cash laundering is to return illegal funds to their source;therefore, money launderers typically employ robust financial structures to transport funds. Additionally, the level of money laundering activity may become more geographically concentrated as the amount of money laundered increases. For many years, the financial quarter has been working to reevaluate the concept of identity. Blockchain is an emerging computing structure that enables the integration of disparate data points from authoritative source vendors into a unified digital ledger of validated, unalterable, transparent, and cryptographically protected data. Furthermore, secrecy can be ensured by letting the appropriate person or group control how their identity is shared. A blockchain is a distributed, virtual ledger that is unchangeable and keeps track of transactions in chronological order and close to real time. At present, the marine security issue includes the protection of fishers and address the rescue in case of illegal border infiltration. To detect the border for fisherman, this study conducted a method of enhancement in border detection essentially utilising the Automatic Identification System (AIS) with the assistance of the Internet of Things (IoT). In the middle sea, to provide boat detection with high precision, the proposed model incorporates Very High Frequency (VHF) communication inspired by X-band radar. The system is able to detect and monitor the boats at sea. To provide the middle sea with a high level of detection and monitoring of boats, system architecture included VHF (Very High Frequency) communication, which was inspired by the X band radar system. The range of AIS was increased using VHF communication. The coastal monitoring stations receive the position and status data from fishing boats with the help of IoT devices. The new AIS technology includes IoT-enabled devices installed on fishing boats. The IoT devices situated on boats send information to coastal monitoring station after sending data. The advanced technology increases the software capabilities of AIS, which will be helpful in the situation where the only AIS information was not enough. The advanced software capabilities improved the range of AIS and the definition capability of the vessels which were identified in the ocean near borders. The Automatic Identification System (AIS) that is being used in the present day has been upgraded and the Internet of Things (IoT) has been introduced. As a result, the system is now capable of much more comprehensive and real-time tracking and monitoring, as well as communication for marine vessels. This combination of technologies strengthens the safety, efficiency, and management of maritime operations by giving ships the Opportunity to connect and exchange data with different sensors, devices, and networks, and thus offering a more detailed and dynam

This paper presents the design and implementation of an Internet of Thing (IOT)-based long-distance fire-extinguishment system named 'Stationary 3-Axis Fire-Emergency Response Base' (STAFERB). The system aims to provide immediate response to fire hazards in various environments, including residential areas, building complexes, commercial areas, small-scale industries, large factories, dense slum areas, and remotely located forest regions. The proposed STAFERB is designed to receive fire location coordinates, fire intensity, and probable cause information. It then calculates the path of a projectile based on considering obstacles and self-detection of a clear line of sight to reach the t1arget location. The system uses this information to select the appropriate speed and type of fire retardant. The designed STAFERB features robust communication, self-path detection, auto-orientation, and reduced response time, making it a significant advancement in fire-fighting technology. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed STAFERB in mitigating fire hazards and hence can be well suited for real-time disaster management. © 2025 IEEE.
