Due to the broad spectrum of content and evolving tactics of spammers, identifying spam in YouTube comments has become a challenging task. If it goes undetected it may hamper the security and integrity of the application. Automated spam detection techniques have found profound application in this field. This study offers an extensive approach for enhancing spam classification through the integration of cutting-edge machine learning algorithms. A multi-pronged paradigm is investigated, including SMOTE to address class imbalance, and TF-IDF vectorization for feature extraction and used for spam classification. A wide range of models is scrutinized in the study such as Gradient Boosting, AdaBoost, XGBoost, etc. The best-performing models, based on cross-validation scores, were the Support Vector Classifier (SVC) with an average accuracy of 96.42%, followed by Gradient Boosting, Voting Classifier and LightGBM, achieving an average accuracy of 94.63%, followed by Logistic Regression and Random Forest achieving an accuracy of 94.37%. © 2025 IEEE.

Human Resource (HR) management is one important section that increases the success of an organization to handle some important functions like employee data manipulation, attendance tracking, payroll processing, and performance evaluation. With the management of these processes becoming key to the success of small-scale startups, it poses a very big challenge for many of them to be able to manage these processes efficiently and cost efficient. By contrast, the old era of traditional HR systems was based on database driven architectures that are expensive in terms of operational cost, require storage space and complex infrastructural needs. These limitations often make traditional HR systems impossible for a startup that would prefer lightweight, affordable, and scalable solutions. Startups need robust platforms to streamline HR work streams, but often lack with financial resources for building complex database driven systems. In this paper, an AI powered HR management system is developed to simplify employee management processes for small scale startups. In this system. cache memory is used instead of traditional databases, thereby the operational cost of the system will be reduced for storage and retrieval of employee details. Automated Attendance Management enhanced with Face Recognition technology, Payroll Management, Leave Management, Feedback Submission modules are included. It is integrated with an AI powered chatbot, which facilitates a smooth interaction by the employees with query for information, submit leave requests and pull up all payroll information etc. A user-friendly dashboard for a consolidated view of employee profiles, attendance records, leave approvals, and payroll data can be served over an optimized and time efficient HR workflow. This system addresses the needs of the startups such as flexible usage, cost effective operations and improved resource management. © 2025 IEEE.

Cancer is the leading cause of premature mortality. Globally, the prevalence of cancer is on the rise, and early-stage diagnosis is crucial for cancer recovery and survival. However, the presence of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) and heterogeneity within the tumor makes it hard to track how cancer changes over time and how resistance to treatment develops. Unfortunately, the cancer diagnosis precision remains inadequate, endangering precious human lives and necessitating costly procedures for accurate treatment. Machine learning (ML) has proven capable of discovering meaningful information and making predictions, particularly with large datasets. Moreover, quantum computers (QCs) inherently possess superposition and parallel computation, features not found in classical computing. Researchers have demonstrated that quantum neural networks (QNNs) achieve a significantly better effective dimension than classical NNs. In this context, this study investigates the application of classical and quantum machine learning (QML) algorithms to classify breast cancer images. Region-based segmentation is used to identify regions of interest and image processing algorithms are performed on segmented breast cancer images to extract meaningful features (e.g., perimeter, area, compactness). An user interface (UI) based software is created to swiftly distinguish benign and malignant instances during image analysis. Although QNNs perform poorly than the classical NNs, there is still a long way to go in developing feature maps and techniques for better performance. In contrast, the classical NNs have gone a long way with well-established algorithms and packages available to us. This research shows that with further development, QML has the potential to enhance cancer diagnosis accuracy and speed, ultimately improving early detection and treatment outcomes. © 2025 IEEE.

The rapidly evolving cyber threat landscape requires innovative and adaptive intrusion detection solutions. Traditional signature-based intrusion detection systems, despite their high accuracy, are inherently inflexible and susceptible to evasion tactics, making them ineffective against novel and sophisticated attacks. In contrast, machine learning-powered anomaly-based intrusion detection systems demonstrate improved detection capabilities, but their advantages are often outweighed by substantial drawbacks, including significant computational resource requirements when the dataset and its features for behavior analysis increase. Also, there are high power consumption and latency issues in communication that compromise network performance. This study proposes a hybrid ANN-LSTM approach for performing deep packet inspection and efficiently detecting malicious network packets. By analyzing binary container data, our model reduces time and space complexity, thereby mitigating the computational resources and power consumption challenges but also increasing the efficiency of intrusion detection by 3%, making it more intelligent than various established IDS. © 2025 IEEE.

Tuberculosis (TB) is one of the leading causes of deaths globally, mainly in low- and middle-income countries. Early and accurate detection is crucial for effective treatment and disease control. In this paper, models like CNNs-VGG16, ResNet, and DenseNet, to name a few, are taken into an exhaustive study. Optimization techniques, including transfer learning and ensemble methods, which can increase accuracy in the challenging diverse clinical settings, will be presented. Equitable healthcare outcome is achieved in terms of future research directions which include representative datasets and interpretability of the model. © 2025 IEEE.

Periapical lesions are abnormal growths or infections that develop close to the tip of a tooth's root and can be caused by oral trauma, decaying teeth, or dental work done in the past. It is particularly difficult to accurately identify and differentiate periapical lesions, which presents a major diagnostic problem. Density measurements are not reliable and can't be linked to histology. Yolov5 which detect objects in real time with great accuracy is used to automatically identify and categorize lesions from imaging data. This model is a good object detector to detect small objects. It is the fastest model compared to other models. © 2025 IEEE.

SINR-Delay Constrained Node Localization in RIS-Assisted Time-Varying IoT Networks Using ML Frameworks

Node localization in time-varying Internet of Things (IoT) networks is an essential problem due to increased delay and poor Signal-to-Interference plus Noise Ratio (SINR) at the Base Station (BS). To improve the received signal strength at the BS, Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface (RIS) has recently been used between transmitter and receiver. Additionally, novel phase prediction methods and optimal weight assignment frameworks have been proposed over RIS and BSs, respectively. Nevertheless, these methods suffer from poor performance due to their heuristic approach, resulting in more time consumption and poor SINR. Motivated by the aforementioned challenges, we propose a novel node localization method over a RIS-assisted time-varying IoT network using Machine Learning (ML) frameworks in this work. Firstly, the method computes the optimal phase configuration over the RIS corresponding to each element using coeff2phaseNN, which has been trained on channel coefficients among the transmitter, receiver, and RIS. Subsequently, the weight of the individual antenna element at the BS is optimized using the proposed VectorSync model. The results confirm that the coeff2phaseNN method demonstrates a reduction of 89.79% in total MSE loss compared to the Artificial Neural Network-RIS (ANN-RIS) method. Additionally, it demonstrates a 71.04% reduction in the absolute RIS phase prediction deviation from the optimal phase compared to the ANN-RIS method. Moreover, the proposed VectorSync method attains a 79.28% and 92.29% reduction in time required for optimal weight assignment compared to the Bartlett and Capon methods, respectively. Finally, the Localization Error(LR) using the proposed method is compared to conventional methods in a time-varying experimental scenario and found to be the minimum, i.e., 6.156%. © 2004-2012 IEEE.

Using image processing and deep learning algorithms, the device provides precise feedback and actionable insights. Paired with a mobile application offering detailed analysis and recommendations, it empowers users to adopt proactive oral hygiene practices to prevent teeth disorder. © 2025 IEEE.

Ridesharing systems have become an important part of urban transportation. At the same time, electric vehicle (EV) adoption is also growing at a fast pace as an eco-friendly and sustainable transportation option. To operate a ridesharing system with EV fleets, scheduling an EV fleet to serve passenger requests requires consideration of both the requests, and the available charge and potential future charge requirements of the EVs. In this paper, we address the problem of scheduling EVs by a ridesharing operator, and propose four algorithms that schedule passenger requests while taking into consideration charging requirements of the EVs. With the growing adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) as an eco-friendly and sustainable means of transportation, availability of adequate EV charging infrastructure has become very important. While fixed charging stations are the primary means for public charging, they can be effectively augmented by mobile charging stations. In this paper, we address the problem of planning and operating a mobile charging station fleet by an operator. We propose an algorithm for the operator to use for route planning of the MCSs and for scheduling charging requests of EVs to them to try to maximize the number of charging requests served.
