This paper delves into the potential of Large Language Models (LLMs) in revolutionizing business intelligence and inventory management through semantic parsing and text-to-SQL methodologies. It assesses various LLM models, such as DIN-SQL, DSP, NSQL, GPT, CoPilot, and LLaMa, elucidating their capabilities and contributions. Two critical analyses are presented here. The first compares cutting-edge LLM models using cosine similarity and cost efficiency metrics. The second analysis enhances GPT’s precision through prompt engineerings, like few-shot techniques, and explores frameworks like DIN-SQL, NSQL, and DSP. DIN-SQL substantially boosts accuracy, and NSQL demonstrates potential in specific scenarios. This research underscores the transformative potential of LLM-driven models in business intelligence and inventory management. DIN-SQL, in particular, emerges as a game-changer with the potential to reshape inventory management practices. GPT showcases its versatility through fine-tuning for tasks beyond conventional programming, while CoPilot offers a cost-effective alternative. This study emphasizes the importance of cost-effectiveness in real-world applications, with LLaMa and CoPilot being practical choices. NSQL, with its budget-friendly and semi-accurate solution, holds promise for semantic parsing in growing companies. These insights are a foundation for further innovation, promising unmatched efficiency and competitiveness across industries in the evolving Artificial intelligence landscape.

In this work, we demonstrate the impact of an unconventional convolutional photonic accelerator, based on an optical spectrum slicing (OSS) [1], on the classification accuracy of objects, generated through a high-frame rate neuromorphic event-based camera [2]. The experimental setup is depicted in Fig. 1a. It consists of a 5 mW-632 nm-LED source, two objective lenses with NA=0.65 that concentrate the light beam into a $100\ \mu \mathrm{m}\times 100\ \mu \mathrm{m}$ channel. In our experiments, the targeted objects consist of test spheres, of different diameters (12, 16, and $20 \mu{m}$ ), used in aqua solutions. A pump regulated the sphere's speed to 0.8 m/s. The objects were recorded by a 10 kframe/s capable neuromorphic camera, with a temporal resolution of $1\ \mu \mathrm{s}$ . The camera detects pixel's contrast changes (events), similar to biological systems [2]. The recorded events were exported into 1 kframes/sec videos through a synthetic frame generator software, resulting to 2988 images per particle [2]. Images were post-processed using only noise reduction by frame subtraction and image cropping so as to reduce data volume to $100\times 100$ pixels.

Medical selection aid structures (CDSSs) are facts systems designed to assist healthcare experts in the decision-making manner. Conventional CDSSs rely upon analytical fashions and understanding-based algorithms to guide choices. However, the latest advances have visible the emergence of AI-pushed CDSSs that utilize artificial intelligence (AI) to help clinicians in their selection-making. AI-pushed CDSSs are predicted to enhance selection-making accuracy and results by way of leveraging massive datasets and greater state-of-the-art modeling strategies. But, there is nonetheless a lot to understand about the impact of AI-driven CDSSs on healthcare shipping and results. This paper evaluates the present-day literature on the impact of AI-driven CDSSs, exploring the results of this generation for healthcare experts and the healthcare gadget as an entire. It highlights areas in need of additional research and suggests possibilities for the design and implementation of AI-pushed CDSSs.

We review our recent work in machine learning and neuromorphic processing for the mitigation of transmission impairments at very high baud rates. Bidirectional recurrent neural networks and neuromorphic recurrent spectral slicers emerge as promising solutions for mid-term deployment in long-haul and short-reach communication systems respectively.

In a recent work, we studied a novel precoding design for cell-free networks called team minimum mean-square error (TMMSE) precoding, which rigorously generalizes centralized MMSE precoding to distributed operations based on transmitter-specific channel state information (CSI). Despite its flexibility in handling different cooperation regimes at the CSI sharing level, TMMSE precoding assumes network-wide sharing of the data bearing signals, and hence it is inherently not scalable. In this work, inspired by recent advances on scalable cell-free architectures based on user-centric network clustering techniques, we address this issue by proposing a novel version of the TMMSE precoding design covering partial message sharing. The obtained framework is then successfully applied to derive a variety of novel, optimal, and efficient precoding schemes for a user-centric cell-free network deployed using multiple radio stripes. Numerical simulations of a typical industrial internet-of-things scenario corroborate the gains of TMMSE precoding over competing schemes in terms of spectral efficiency under different power constraints. Although presented in the context of downlink precoding, the results of this paper may be applied also on the uplink. © 2021 IEEE.

The kinds of 5G waveforms require to saturate different demands of transmitting signals. Unfortunately, the spectrum resources are limited. Thus, the spectrum sensing technique should be overcome this issue of communications. In this paper, a spectrum sensing technique is proposed for 5G waveforms detection, such as F-OFDM, UFMC, and FBMC. The decision of detection is obtained according to some parameters such as signal length, cyclic prefix, shape, energy, and mapper. The proposed method includes windowed cosine filtering with Hamming. The results are validated with the Monte-Carlo simulation. The proposed sensing technique achieved better detection performance than that of related techniques in terms of detection probability (> 0.95), false alarm probability ( © 2021 IEEE.

To assist Java programming learning of novice students, we have developed the web-based Java Programming Learning Assistant System (JPLAS). It provides various exercise problems to cultivate code reading and code writing skills to support studies at various levels. The code writing problem (CWP) asks a student to write a source code to pass the given test code where the correctness is verified by running them on JUnit. Previously, we implemented the answer platform for students to solve CWP assignments with the automatic runs. However, the teacher needs to manually run them one by one to verify a lot of source codes from students. In this paper, we implement the answer code validation program that automatically verifies all the source codes for one test code and reports the number of tests that each code passed with the CSV file. For evaluations, we applied the program to a total of 999 source codes from 12-43 students for a total of 45 test codes that were assigned in the Java programming course in Okayama university, including for final examinations. The application results confirm the validity and effectiveness of the proposal.

The widespread prevalence of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth or its low-power version, Bluetooth low energy (BLE), in modern society has significantly increased their use for setting up wireless connectivity in various Internet-of Things (IoT)-based applications, such as patient monitoring, indoor localization and environment monitoring. The growing demand for integrating efficient power management solutions into these IoT applications has motivated us to focus on the measurement and analysis of power consumption during wireless scan activities using Wi-Fi and BLE since these are crucial for the connection establishment. Although a few research exists on the measurement and analysis of power consumed by wireless technologies like Wi-Fi, BLE and Zigbee in the literature, none have paid attention to the accurate measurement and analysis of real-time power consumption during wireless scan operations at the application level. To address this gap, we have designed a novel mobile application for the accurate measurement of real-time power consumption during wireless scan operations in order to assess the energy efficiency of various IoT applications involving those wireless technologies. Extensive experimentation was carried out in this study to measure real-time power consumption during Wi-Fi and BLE scans as well as operations without any scans (i.e., no scan) at varying durations and distances of the measuring device from the beacon. Additionally, a comparative statistical analysis of the collected power measurements under three different cases (Wi-Fi scan, BLE scan and no scan) using mean, median and standard deviation was performed to demonstrate the real-time power consumption usage patterns of these operations. This is followed by an insightful discussion on the influence of duration and distance on such power consumption patterns. The increasing growth of Internet of Things (IoT) devices has created a wide attack surface for cyber criminals to carry out more destructive cyber attacks; therefore, the number of cyber attacks in the information security industry is increasing rapidly. As attackers use new and innovative methods to launch cyber-oriented attacks, many of these strikes have succeeded in their malicious goals. Anomaly-based intrusion detection systems (IDS) use machine learning techniques to detect and classify attacks on IoT networks. Faced with unpredictable network technologies and various infiltration methods, traditional machine learning technologies are powerless. In abounding areas of research, kernel learning methods prove that they accurately determine pathological abilities.

The medical sector has continually advanced in recent years. This system intensifies the engagement of unorganized pharmacies into the computerized system to lift medical assistance.
