Voice assistant applications have become integral parts of modern technology ecosystems, offering users convenient and efficient ways to interact with their devices. This paper introduces Voice Ai, a versatile voice assistant application developed using Android Studio and Google's Machine Learning Kit Machine learning(MLKit) for Optical Character Recognition (OCR) functionalities. The app includes features like setting alarms, making calls, opening applications, and conducting question-answer sessions powered by G4F. A comparative analysis between G4F and Google's backend is performed, assessing their performance and user satisfaction during question-answer interactions. Voice Ai simplifies daily tasks and boosts productivity, providing insights for developers, researchers, and end-users interested in AI-based voice assistant applications. © 2025 IEEE.

In contemporary diagnostic workflows, medical image captioning has emerged as a pivotal advancement, combining deep learning methodologies and transformer architectures to enhance accuracy and efficiency in medical interpretations. This paper proposes the optimization of multimodal transformers for automated medical image captioning, focusing on integrating Vision Transformers (ViT) and Bidirectional Auto-Regressive Transformers (BART) with novel variations such as Swin Transformers and GPT-2. We use a robust multimodal AI framework to explore how these architectures synergize to generate coherent and diagnostically relevant captions for radiological images. We assess the performance of multiple transformer models by employing the ROCO dataset, containing paired X-ray images and expert-generated reports. Our findings demonstrate that the ViT + BART combination yields the most stable and accurate captions, minimizing training and validation loss. In contrast, DEiT + MBART displayed instability, highlighting the need for further hyperparameter tuning. Through this comparative analysis, we underscore the critical role of transformer-based models in reducing the cognitive load on medical professionals, enhancing diagnostic accuracy, and promoting real-time, automated medical image interpretation. © 2025 IEEE.

About 15 years ago, education researchers conducted a systematic literature review (SLR) on change strategies for improving undergraduate STEM education instruction. Analyzing 191 articles from 1995 to 2008, the researchers identified four broad categories of change strategies through a comprehensive interdisciplinary literature review: (1) disseminating curriculum and pedagogy, (2) developing reflective teachers, (3) enacting policy, and (4) developing a shared vision. With recent developments in STEM education practices, it is imperative to conduct a follow-up SLR comparing the effects of change strategies and associated student success. Similarly, with the influx of scientific articles published in recent decades, it is time consuming to conduct comprehensive SLRs without the assistance of machine learning (ML) analysis techniques. Working with qualitative researchers, we investigate the impact and ability of using ML to assist in these analyses. While most ML approaches can be easily written with a few lines of code, using them to extract meaningful information for literature reviews is challenging. In this work, we describe our experience with integrating machine learning techniques into the analysis pipeline of SLRs. Specifically, this poster will: (1) share results from clustering analysis to identify themes of the chosen abstracts, (2) explore the effects of data bias on found clusters, (3) present the challenges of adding machine learning into SLRs, and (4) assess if the addition of ML in SLRs aligns with the expected goals of qualitative researchers. © 2025 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

Smart cities have emerged as a response to the fast expansion of metropolitan areas;these places strive to improve the lives of their residents while simultaneously promoting environmentally responsible growth. To maximize urban services, the Internet of Things (IoT) is an essential technology that allows for the seamless integration of sensors, devices, and systems. This allows smart cities to become a reality. With an emphasis on smart transportation, energy management, healthcare, environmental monitoring, and public safety, this paper explores the critical role of IoT in smart cities. data security, privacy, scalability, and interoperability are some of the problems that arise when smart cities use IoT, despite the revolutionary potential it has. These obstacles are thoroughly examined in this work, along with possible solutions to these problems. This study gives a thorough overview of the IoT and its impact on smart city development, innovation, and urban resilience by focusing on the present situation, applications, and unanswered questions. © 2025 IEEE.

Precise measurement of State of Charge (SoC) in Li-ion battery is crucial for effective utilization of energy storage system. However, it is challenging with physics-based model due to computation complexity while data-driven model often lacks generalization for unseen data. To improve the robustness of data-driven model, hybrid algorithms are employed. This paper focuses on combining Temporal Fusion Transformer (TFT)Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) to improve the generalization of state-of charge estimation of unseen drive cycles. By leveraging the attention mechanism feature, temporal feature extraction of TFT along with memory capability of LSTM TFT-LSTM model is developed with optimal hyperparameters using Optuna framework. This model is used to estimate the SoC during the discharging cycle of a Turnigy Graphene Li-Ion Battery (5000mAh, 65C) for the LA92 drive cycle at an ambient temperature of 40°***, uncertainty analysis is performed against US06 drive cycle. Finally, the performance of TFT-LSTM is compared with LSTM model. The results demonstrate that TFT-LSTM achieves better performance compared to LSTM with Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) of 1.1962 for unseen US06 drive cycle. These findings demonstrate the robustness of hybrid TFT-LSTM against unseen drive cycle and highlight its potential under realistic conditions with variability. © 2025 IEEE.

Predicting customer purchase intent is crucial for modern businesses in order to improve engagement, refine marketing strategies, and increase revenue. Conventional rule-based systems encounter difficulties with dynamic and extensive customer data, limiting their flexibility and precision. This project employs a machine learning methodology utilizing logistic regression to forecast customer intent based on demographic, transactional, and behavioral data. The proposed model analyses input features including age, browsing history, and previous purchases, employing sophisticated data preprocessing methods such as One-Hot Encoding and feature scaling to guarantee data integrity. Through hyperparameter tuning and the assessment of critical metrics including accuracy, precision, recall, and Fl-score, the system provides dependable and actionable insights. Real-time predictive capabilities enable businesses to customize customer interactions, facilitating targeted marketing and enhancing customer experience. This project underscores the capacity of predictive analytics to tackle real-world issues, facilitating data-driven decision-making and sustainable business development. © 2025 IEEE.

Internet has evolved from a network of connecting people to a network of connecting things, leading to a more complex and sophisticated network of Industrial Things, known as Industrial IoT (IIoT) today. This evolution has revolutionized the traditional Industrial system into real-time smarter systems that enhanced overall efficiency and productivity. Despite its benefits, the interconnected nature of IIoT, expanded the attack surface, exposing the systems to new crucial and complex cybersecurity threats. Several real time attacks on various industries as mentioned in this paper and the increasing cybersecurity cost over the years, clearly states the need of robust security solutions. To deeply understand the cybersecurity aspect, we provided a comprehensive study of attacks and vulnerabilities in this paper. In this paper, we did a indept. study of various IIoT related severe attacks and aspects related to these attacks, like vulnerabilities, impacts, potential solutions etc. We also provided future research directions to help the research community, to work upon and develop more robust and efficient cybersecurity solutions. © 2025 IEEE.

Virtual Reality (VR) has transformed data visualization by enabling immersive and interactive experiences. CAVE (Cave Automatic Virtual Environment) systems provide a unique platform for exploring complex datasets in an intuitive, spatially immersive manner. However, a standardized pipeline for developing VR scripts tailored to CAVE-based data visualization remains underexplored. This paper presents a structured pipeline for creating and deploying immersive data visualization in CAVE systems, specifically using the WorldViz Prism CAVE environment. Our approach facilitates seamless integration of multi-dimensional datasets, enabling real-time interaction with 27 visual graphs within a single VR scene. The system allows dynamic graph manipulation, interactive exploration, and enhanced user engagement. By streamlining VR script development, this pipeline improves accessibility for researchers and practitioners, fostering a more intuitive understanding of complex datasets. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of this approach in enhancing data interpretability and decision-making.

The advancement in distributed Federated Learning (FL) techniques is transforming next-generation edge computing, especially in e-Helathcare systems where data integrity and security are critical concerns. Collecting, processing and analyzing such substantial medical data is highly challenging due to their non-identical and versatile nature. Conventional FL approaches often show unsatisfactory and inaccurate results while operating on those data. Traditional FL methods also lack optimal dynamic management mechanisms for edge devices in ehealthcare, which is crucial to ensure that only authorized devices participate in handling any system failures and new registrations. To tackle such important aspects, in this work, we propose a personalized FL technique to handle abrupt label shifts among clients' data. The proposed approach further targets to achieve personalized models for local edge clients. A statistical batch normalization is proposed on customized edge servers, keeping the data specificity intact. To make the proposed system more secure and robust, a Software Defined Network-based (SDN-based) centralized server is used that allows only authorized and efficient edge clients to participate. The proposed comprehensive experiments on two healthcare datasets demonstrate better accuracy than traditional FL methods with enhanced security and privacy. © 2025 IEEE.

All over the world, the population of elderly people is increasing a lot. There needs to be special attention to the welfare of the elderly person to make them confident in their independent quality of living. In recent years, researchers have shown much interest in smart home automation for people who live alone without any human assistance. However, the purchase of medical drugs, diapers, etc., outside the house has to be fulfilled by their family members or caretakers. In most cases, it is not feasible, as the family members may stay long away from the elders. Purchasing online is easy;however, analyzing the best product requires knowledge in each e-commerce application for better quality at a low cost. This paper proposes an integrated and intelligent e-commerce framework to avoid the drawback of purchasing items online in a single window using the NLP technique. The proposed framework provides offers, discounts, star ratings, and product reviews by analyzing other customers' review data and purchase patterns. It provides interactive data analysis at a single window for the ease of elderly persons. The performance of the proposed framework was evaluated by 120 elderly persons using a simple questionnaire with a statistical analysis of a sample purchase. © 2025 IEEE.
