Perfect Gaussian integer sequences (PGISs) with ideal periodic autocorrelation functions have been extensively used to communication systems and cryptosystems. This paper propose several new families of even-length PGISs based on novel base sequences. The resulting sequences consists of at most 12 Gaussian integers. The new developed construction method is to use Gaussian integers of different Euclidean norms as the coefficients of a linear combination of the newly presented and previously developed base sequences. Both theoretical proofs and illustrated examples for new PGISs are given. The advantages of these new PGISs are either low energy or large degree when compared to the existing sequences.

Advancements in medical imaging have paved the way for image-based computer-aided diagnosis (CADx) systems, revolutionizing the detection of lung abnormalities, including lung nodules and diffuse lung diseases. This paper explores the potential of convolutional neural networks (CNNs) in image-based CADx without the reliance on image-feature extraction, presenting a powerful alternative to feature-based CADx methods. Additionally, we introduce an image-based computer-aided detection (CADe) algorithm employing regions with CNN features (R-CNN) for precise identification of lung abnormalities. We conduct comprehensive evaluations of our image-based CADx utilizing CNN and CADe employing R-CNN, demonstrating their effectiveness across various lung abnormalities.

The Global Climate Models (GCMs) provides one of the most credible datasets to understand the past and future of earth’s climate. Regional Climate Models (RCMs) are applied to obtain climate information from GCMs to regional level. In practice, spatial interpolations are applied to re-grid coarser resolution GCM data to finer resolution before it is fed to RCM. Standard interpolation algorithms are proposed in literature, however mostly they are selected arbitrarily, especially for interpolation of GCM data. This study is envisaged to provide a comparative assessment of six interpolation methods for spatial interpolation of Sixth phase Coupled Model Intercomparison Project (CMIP6) datasets from six different GCMs. No existing study provides their comparative performance for CMIP6 variables specific to the Indian region. The performance evaluation of selected methods is carried out for seven important hydrological parameters at monthly time scale. The selected parameters are interpolated to 0.25 degree spatial resolution for the entire Indian region. Based on skill tests performed, the Bilinear and Bicubic interpolation methods are realized to be suitable choices for gridded data interpolation.

In this paper, a Genetic Algorithm is used to solve the path planning problem for autonomous mobile robots in static environments. The goal of the path planning problem is to find a valid and practical path between two points while avoiding obstacles and optimizing a number of criteria including path length, safety, and distance from obstacles. A quality function is proposed to evaluate the optimization approach for different scenarios. Experimental results show that enhanced solutions can be achieved in less time using optimal values of the search algorithm parameters.

Clean and safe environments are the responsibility of the government. Currently, people have to lodge their complaints with the Municipal Corporation, and then workers take time to respond to them. In this paper we have made a platform to overcome the communication gap between the user and the municipal corporation. This research study proposes an online complaint management system in a web application, where the citizen can lodge a complaint by taking a picture. After the picture being uploaded, image recognition is used to automatically detect the problem raised by the user and Google map API to detect the location automatically. As soon as the problem has been resolved, the municipal corporation must upload a completed status picture to verify that the work has been completed. The aim of this application is to overcome the communication gap between user and Municipal Corporation, to simplify the process of raising complaints and to maintain a clean and safe environment.
