The volume of data is continuously expanding as a result of the quick rise of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), social media, digitization, as well as wireless communication in numerous sectors. With the help of fog computing, cloud computing is an emerging technique for handling and analyzing enormous amounts of data storage. Fog Computing is a set of methods for improving the quality of services (QoS) offered to consumers via cloud computing, which is becoming increasingly overburdened as a result of enormous data flows. All of the data is being sent to the cloud, and retrieving it from there causes a lot of latency and necessitates a lot of network capacity. The fog nodes are seen as a heterogeneous multi-VM system with a finite queue in which the VMs are shared by many client requests. When the system's request queue length exceeds a threshold value Nj (j = 1, 2, ....r-1), the (j + 1)thVM begins processing the requests and continues until the waiting buffer length again reduced to the same level. The recursive technique is used to obtain the steady-state queueing size distribution, which takes into account Markovian arrival with service time. We derived several system properties and studied the fog system's performance based on the client requests and the queue length. © 2022 IEEE.

In high performance Time-to-Digital Converters (TDCs), PLL can be adopted to generate the required reference clock, which is in ∼ 100 MHz range. In order to improve the phase noise performance, the full VCO frequency range in such a PLL is generally divided into multiple sectors, which can be selected by digital code. This paper proposes an automated calibration scheme to set the digital code for optimized VCO performance. Primarily based on successive approximation algorithm, the proposed scheme completes the automated calibration with only minimal steps. By co-simulating with a typical PLL, the efficacy of the proposed scheme is fully validated. Tentatively synthesized using CMOS 180nm technology, the automated calibration scheme only occupies 100× 100um2 of silicon area, and consists of 144 logical gates. The power consumption is only ∼ 100 uW. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper presents the design and development of a low-cost and user-friendly Bengali braille embosser for the visually impaired population in Bangladesh. To produce braille text, the embosser employs a shifting mechanism and an Embosser head, both controlled by an Arduino microcontroller. A software has also been developed to allow users with basic printer knowledge to operate the embosser. Access to educational resources and reading materials is limited for people with disabilities in Bangladesh, and the availability of Bengali braille writing machines is scarce. The proposed solution aims to address these challenges and improve the learning and communication capabilities of visually impaired individuals.

A malware is any software intentionally designed to cause damage to a computer, server, client or network. Malware is very challenging issue and major concern for privacy of data. This detection can give information about Malicious and Benign data. Machine learning contain Evaluation measures like multi-class log loss, Confusion matrix, precision and recall these four measures are used. Exploratory data analysis, ANOVA, Feature engineering and evaluation are methods for classification machine learning models. In this paper Decision tree model is used for the classification. Max dept. for 16 value gives more accuracy score 0.63 as compare to Max dept. for 32 value which gives accuracy score 0.5. © 2022 IEEE.

Ensuring reliability and safety in multilevel power converter topologies requires effective fault diagnostics, especially considering the greater number of components involved compared to traditional converters. Recent research has recognized the potential of Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) in enhancing diagnostic strategies. In this context, this study proposes an innovative approach for detecting devices faults in multilevel converters using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) through 2D image-based classification. The simulation results demonstrate the efficacy of this method, enabling more dependable and efficient multilevel power electronic systems. © 2023 IEEE.

Texture classification plays a crucial role in applications ranging from object recognition and product design to surface exploration. Utilizing deep learning methods with sensors, such as accelerometers, offers a way to identify key surface features without the need to precisely replicate human touch. A Contextually Guided Convolutional Neural Network (CG-CNN) employs contextual guidance by developing auxiliary tasks during its training. These tasks offer implicit, yet rigorous, internal supervision signals. When trained with these subtasks, CG-CNN learns to represent the innate structure and patterns within the data, resulting in robust, transferrable, and local/contextual-neighborhood-preserving domain representations. This paper extends the CG-CNN framework for texture classification by integrating semisupervised learning. Empirical evaluations on the VibTac-12 texture dataset reveal that CG-CNN effectively generalizes to novel and unfamiliar textures, even when trained with scarce labeled examples. By harnessing vast amounts of unlabeled, contextually relevant data alongside the labeled samples, CG-CNN ensures robust and precise texture classification. Such advancements hold promise for applications in robotics, prosthetics, and haptic interfaces.

Speech is the most important resource of communication and a part of human development. Speech Synthesis gives an opportunity to communicate with deaf and dumb people. The state of the art in speech synthesis is automatically generate speech from text. In the digital era, a text-to-speech synthesizer system is able to read any text clearly. This is a primary difference between any other talking machine and a text-to-speech synthesizer. The recent task of speech synthesis is to produce speech in the form of acoustic waveforms from text input. It is used in conversational and nonconversational applications also. In conversational applications like speech recognizers, telephone-based dialogues with people, current chatbots, etc., and in non-conversational applications like video games, children's toys, devices, or machines which are helpful for blind people to read out the text or messages loud. The purpose of this article is to analyze generation-wise growth in speech synthesis techniques. In the comparative analysis, we have done the analysis of speech synthesis methods and a few evaluation parameters such as corpus size, the complexity of each technique, intelligibility, the naturalness of sound, advantages, and limitations. We have highlighted a few research gaps in those techniques. As a contribution proposed a framework to produce speech from the text as well as images using the Lj speech dataset. We have adopted the Tacotron model to generate speech from the text in the English language. For an evaluation generated speech is evaluated with a Mean Opinion Scale parameter from 30 listeners.

Just-in-time defect prediction (JITDP) is a technique for predicting if a code change is defective. JITDP ensures software quality throughout the design phase and requires developers to check and resolve defects on time. Several recent studies have proposed using JITDP to detect changes that potentially create defects at check-in time. JITDP techniques utilize change metrics obtained from software repositories to forecast defect-inducing changes. In this research, we presented Bootstrap aggregation to detect changes that potentially create defects at check-in time by employing the publicly accessible change metrics dataset Mozilla. The proposed method has been compared to several machine learning techniques to verify the proposed approach's performance. The findings reveal that the proposed approach beat all comparable machine learning methods in various classification measures. In addition to the proposed approach, the decision tree and k nearest neighbor algorithms performed well. © 2022 IEEE.
