The maintenance and enhancement of dynamic soil characteristics are the primary focus of soil management in agriculture to increase crop productivity. Higher productivity may result from efficient soil control of resources and corrective micronutrient treatments. Using CNN and 'KNN' algorithms, the 'soil land classification and crop prediction system' application was created. In this study, two datasets are used: one to obtain crop prediction and the other for soil land categorization. The kind of soils are trained using CNN ('VGG- 19') algorithm, and the accuracy of the model is calculated. The trained model is then utilized in the Flask web app to forecast the type of soil. Another data set with nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, pH, and temperature as features and the class type of crop as a label is used to forecast crop production. These two algorithms are used to create the flask website, which accepts inputs such as soil picture, soil type prediction, and land parameter inputs for crop prediction. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper proposes a method for sampling graph signals by designing a flexible sampling operator via a difference-of-convex (DC) based algorithm. Departing from conventional methods limited to bandlimited signals, our method extend the generalized sampling theory to handle graph signals beyond bandlimitedness. Our method aims to design a flexible sampling operator that mixes vertex values, while controlling the number of sample-contributive vertices. The operator design is formulated as a feasibility problem with an invertibility constraint for the best possible recovery and a constraint controlling the number of sample-contributive vertices. We reformulate the problem as a DC-like optimization problem by using the nuclear norm to obtain a tight relaxation of the invertibility constraint. To solve this problem, we present a DC-based algorithm. The effectiveness of our approach is demonstrated through sampling and recovery experiments on various graph signal models. © 2025 IEEE.

The Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacks are one of the most critical threats to the stability and security of the Internet. With the increasing number of devices connected to the Internet, the frequency and severity of DDoS attacks are also increasing. To mitigate the impact of DDoS attacks, intelligent detection systems are becoming increasingly important. This paper reviews the recent literature on intelligent techniques, including machine learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), and artificial intelligence (AI), for detecting DDoS attacks. We will provide an overview of the existing research in the field and analyse the trends in using time series data analysis for DDoS attack detection. A taxonomy and conceptual framework for DDoS mitigation are presented. This study highlights the use of several intelligent techniques for detecting DDoS attacks and evaluates the performance utilizing real datasets and also discusses future research directions in this field. © 2024 IEEE.

CDS-Net: Contextual Difference Sensitivity Network for Pixel-Wise Road Crack Detection

Road crack detection is a key computer vision task that identifies and locates cracks in road surface images, which usually have an irregular shape and contain only a few pixels in width. Generative and unsupervised methods are popular these years, but generative methods require a lot of training data and computational power while unsupervised methods are not so satisfactory in pixel-level segmentation. The process is challenged by the irregularity of crack shapes and complex road image backgrounds. To alleviate these problems, we propose a novel method in this paper, CDS-Net, that significantly improves road crack detection performance through multiple practical modules, including the Multi-Directional Hierarchical Attention (MDHA) module and the Difference Sensitivity Reconstruction Block (DSRB). Specifically, the MDHA module employs a multi-directional feature extraction strategy to capture detailed information of cracks, thereby enhancing the discriminative power of the features. The DSRB module, designed to address the inefficiency of traditional skip-connections, utilizes masked convolution and graph convolution attention to reconstruct and refine feature representations. Additionally, we propose an improved weighted cross-entropy loss function to address the inherent class imbalance problem in road crack detection. Extensive experiments on five public datasets demonstrate that CDS-Net achieves superior performance compared to other state-of-the-art methods, showcasing its effectiveness and robustness in road crack detection. Text-based applications and chatbots are increasingly popular for delivering banking services and educational tools, offering convenient and efficient solutions for users. Whereas, personalized assistants have transformed user engagement in the digital banking space by utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs) in conjunction with autonomous agents. This study proposes the development of an intelligent personalized assistant for digital banking, utilizing a multi-agent framework based on the LangGraph and Chain of Thoughts (COT) prompting. While COT guarantees context-aware replies, the LangGraph design maps characteristics to nodes to improve user interactions. The objectives of this system are to enhance task efficiency and elevate the capabilities of digital banking assistants. We present a customizable digital banking system powered by LLM-based models, designed to deliver an interactive and personalized banking experience. The system supports a range of services, including adding money, transferring funds, paying bills, accessing telco services like mobile recharge, managing savings interest rates, DPS schemes, fixed deposits, and answering FAQs related to banking information. Therefore, integrating COT for logical reasoning enhances the effectiveness of multi-agent systems, as each single agent benefits from the structured reasoning process. In addition, LangGraph is employed for structured data management, enabling the assistant to support and accelerate various digital banking processes efficiently. This paper proposes an image restoration method using a convolutional sparse coding (CSC) unrolling network with a box constraint and total variation. Unlike conventional deep unrolling methods, the proposed method constructs an interpretable lightweight network with restoration stability. Specifically, we design a new constrained convex optimization problem that incorporates CSC, a box constraint, and total variation (TV). The box constraint ensures that the image values fall within a certain range, making the restoration process stable. In addition, combining total variation and CSC leads to high interpretability and representation with a small number of parameters. We develop an optimization algorithm based on the primal-dual splitting (PDS) method. Then, by unrolling the algorithm, we construct the proposed lightweight network. Experimental results demonstrate the superiority of the proposed method in image restoration accuracy and lightweightness of the proposed network in the number of parameters. © 2025 IEEE.

This study explores the application of a Transformer based model to the 'MovieLens 1M' and 'MovieLens 10M' datasets provided by GroupLens, which includes one million and ten movie ratings. The Transformer model, known for its proficiency in handling sequence-to-sequence tasks, employs multi-head self-attention mechanisms and position-wise feed-forward networks. Our implementation, developed in PyTorch, benefits from its capacity for automatic differentiation and GPU acceleration, which significantly enhances the training efficiency. The model underwent rigorous hyperparameter tuning and optimization to adapt optimally to the characteristics of the dataset. Performance evaluation using the Normalized Discounted Cumulative Gain (NDCG) metric demonstrates that the Transformer model substantially outperforms a conventional popular recommendation system across various top-K rankings. Specifically, for the MovieLens 1M dataset, the Transformer model achieved NDCG scores of 0.0455, 0.0805, 0.0995, and 0.1273 at top 1, 3, 5, and 10, respectively. Comparatively, the popular recommendation system scored 0.0023, 0.0044, 0.0061, and 0.0091 at these same rankings. This trend of superior performance by the Transformer model is also consistent across the MovieLens 10M dataset, further confirming its effectiveness in ranking highly relevant items at the top of the list. Also, to address quality and utility of recommendations, MAP, Precision, Recall, F1 Score, Coverage and Serendipity metrics evaluated. These results underscore the effectiveness of Transformer models in extracting and leveraging complex patterns in sequence data, demonstrating a clear superiority over traditional methods in recommendation systems. This study highlights the potential of deep learning architectures to revolutionize fields reliant on understanding user preferences and sequential data interactions. © 2024 IEEE.

Deep web material is accessed with web database requests, and returned information is packaged into dynamically generated web pages known as deep Web pages. Due to their intricate structure, it is tedious task to retrieve organized data from deep web pages. A great many approaches to address this problem are yet to be proposed, but all of them have inherent drawbacks because they are based on the website and the programming language. The contents of Sites are always shown for users to search daily, like the common two-dimensional media. This motivates us to search for an alternative way to extract deep Web information, by using some interesting popular visual features from deep Webpages, to address the limitations of past works. A novel blog vision approach is proposed in this paper to overcome these issues. This technique uses visual features in deep web pages specifically to conduct deep web data extraction. This paper also recommends a new appraisal measure to capture the required human activity to make maximum mining. The proposed methodology is highly efficient in the deep network data extraction, according to our studies with a large set of web-based data bases. © 2024 IEEE.

Facial Emotion Recognition (FER) has made significant accomplishments over the past few years while the implications of it are quite extensive and are found in different domains. In this paper, a deep learning-based architecture is proposed for FER where we mainly focus on the main components, including dataset preparation;preprocessing methods;feature extraction techniques;classification algorithm;and XAI approaches. The proposed model based on convolutional neural networks (CNNs) operates with feature extraction from facial images. Preprocessing techniques such as resizing, normalization, and augmentation are used to elevate the quality and variety of the dataset. Due to the architecture of VGG16 and ResNet50, we implement three CNN models to extract discriminant features from facial expressions. Meanwhile, each model works as a classifier so that it can make accurate classifications. On the other hand, we use saliency maps to give the model the computation process in a more interpretable manner. Through multiple experimentation and evaluation, the established model shown the high accuracy of the regional analysis of facial emotions, and, as a result, FE R systems can be updated by the improved performance and explainability. © 2024 IEEE.
