In addition to taking care of the normal citizens, Road Traffic protection is also one of the main issue for corporations governing the transportation. We use data mining techniques to get the hidden matter from the database. The applications of Data mining is there in various fields such as fraud detection, marketing and many more. Many countries were affected due to many decisions that were taken by the governments one such issue is globalization. This has brought some drastically changes in the intake level and the financial related activities and this has given a boost to transportation department. Understanding the importance of the street protection the authorities are putting effort to know the reasons behind the street accidents. The increase in the street injuries made it difficult to determine the limitations of the street injuries. This paper explains the street injuries frequency from analysing the database. This work is about 95% efficient. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper describes our approach to submissions made at Shared Task 2 at BLP Workshop - Sentiment Analysis of Bangla Social Media Posts(Hasan et al., 2023a;Islam et al., 2021;Hasan et al., 2023b). Sentiment Analysis is an action research area in the digital age. With the rapid and constant growth of online social media sites and services and the increasing amount of textual data, the application of automatic Sentiment Analysis is on the rise. However, most of the research in this domain is based on the English language. Despite being the world’s sixth most widely spoken language, little work has been done in Bangla. This task aims to promote work on Bangla Sentiment Analysis while identifying the polarity of social media content by determining whether the sentiment expressed in the text is Positive, Negative, or Neutral. Our approach consists of experimenting and finetuning various multilingual and pre-trained BERT-based models on our downstream tasks and using a Majority Voting and Weighted ensemble model that outperforms individual baseline model scores. Our system scored 0.711 for the multiclass classification task and scored 10th place among the participants on the leaderboard for the shared task. In a convolutional neural network (CNN), the output is produced by passing the input through an activation function (AF). The traditional AFs like sigmoid and tanh suffer from disappearing gradient problems. The disappearing gradient issue was solved by the ReLU AF, but the negative region issue still exists. This study introduces a non-monotonic, nonlinear AF dubbed the Linear Irrational Unit (LIU). The function is continuously differentiable in both the positive and negative regions, which overcomes the disappearing gradient problem. As the proposed function has a non-zero value in the negative region, it does not suffer from the negative region problem. The effectiveness of the proposed LIU activation function was assessed using MNIST, CIFAR-10 and Chest X-ray datasets. With our proposed CNN model, the LIU activation function can reach an accuracy of 85.26% on the Chest X-ray dataset, 99.52% on the MNIST dataset, and 83.15% on the CIFAR dataset, which is better than the performance of other modern activation functions. © 2024 IEEE.

Telecom carriers have announced new content services by making a partnership with content providers and offered popular video streaming to customers. Via the integration with edge networks, telecom carriers can procure various contents from content providers and place them on edge servers proximate to end users to serve real-time requests with high bandwidth and ultra-low latency. Nevertheless, it is challenging to consider the content procurement, placement, and services jointly due to the user preference, user distribution, storage capacity of edge server, economic costs, etc. Telecom carriers would like to balance the procuring, placing, and transfer costs. To address this problem, the paper formulates an optimization problem and then proposes an approximation algorithm. Finally, the simulation results manifest that our algorithm outperforms other baselines. © 2024 IEEE.

To detect Parkinson's disease, we compare the effectiveness of K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), Logistic Regression (LR), Support Vector Machines (SVM), and Random Forest (RF) algorithms. Utilizing a dataset with clinical and biomedical features, we preprocess the data to handle missing values and standardize the features. Subsequently, we train each algorithm with the preprocessed data and evaluate their performance using metrics like accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. Our results indicate that all four algorithms achieve excellent accuracy in diagnosing Parkinson's disease, with KNN slightly outperforming the others. However, the selection of the algorithm may depend on specific needs such as interpretability and computational efficiency. Additionally, we conduct a feature importance analysis to identify the most relevant features for Parkinson's disease identification, offering insights that can aid in early diagnosis and disease management. © 2024 IEEE.

Finance forecasting is always known for its ever-changing and complex nature in geopolitical markets, requiring advanced analytical tools to provide valuable deep insights for financial advisors, investors, and vital decision-makers. In this study, we delve into the realm of both quantitative analysis and forecasting in finance-related markets, utilizing sophisticated techniques to enhance our understanding of the markets. Our study focuses on the innovative utilization of the Optimized Wavelet Packet Transform (WPT), an advanced tool for processing signals, to uncover complex patterns within financial time series data through quantitative analysis using Plotly's interactive line charts. It bridges the gap between quantitative analysis and forecasting. It also reaches an accuracy rate of 99.5%, which is considered the best among the other prediction models. These insights help stakeholders and advisors navigate the ever-evolving landscape of financial markets and make decisions wisely. © 2024 IEEE.

Knee osteoarthritis (KOA) is a prevalent joint disorder diagnosed using imaging modalities like MRI, CT scans, and X-rays, with X-rays being the most cost-effective. Early detection is crucial for effective management. This study presents an automated deep learning approach to detect and classify KOA severity based on the Kellgren-Lawrence (KL) grading system using single posteroanterior standing knee X-ray images. Utilizing the Osteoarthritis Initiative dataset, we employed transfer learning to fine-tune DenseNet-201, enhancing model performance. Additionally, knowledge distillation was applied to reduce computational complexity while maintaining accuracy. Our model achieved over 95% accuracy on both testing and cross-validation datasets, outperforming existing methods. This approach offers a reliable tool for early KOA diagnosis and grading, potentially aiding clinical decision-making © 2025 IEEE.

In this work, we classified the wireless internet of things (IoT) traffic of the IoT Health intensive care unit (IHI) dataset which belongs to three general classes: patient monitoring, environment monitoring, and network attack. We trained and tested 7 machine learning (ML) models with Orange 3 including kNN, Decision Tree (tree), SVM, Random Forest (RF), Neural Network (NN), Gradient Boosting (GB), and AdaBoost (AB). With the original dataset, 5 ML models performed perfect classification. After pruning the dataset columns by keeping the features with the highest correlations with the label in the dataset, good classifications were obtained with only 4 TCP/IP features by the Gradient Boosting, kNN, and RF models with MSEs in the range 0.008-0.011, and R2s in the range 0.978-0.984. With only 6 MQTT features, Gradient Boosting, RF, Tree, and NN were the top classifiers with MSEs in the range 0.073-0.074, and R2s in the range 0.856-0.859. This work demonstrates the effectiveness of guiding the feature pruning process by the values of the correlation coefficients in order to minimize the long training times of ML models while achieving good accuracies. © 2024 The Authors. Recommender systems enhance the user experience by integrating factual and behavioral practices, enhancing learning strategies, and granting academic opportunities based on learners subjective interests. Cognitive intelligence, a learner's capability to interpret and synthesize cognitive abilities, is crucial to assemble effective recommendations. However, a student encounters diverse adversities in his or her academic life, whether it is his or her academic pacers or outward circumstances. As a result, a learner consequently experienced severe academic setbacks. Thus, this paper proposes a novel approach to identify cognitive deficits of learners in a school or college before recommending any scholastic content or pertaining in any academic activity. We have employed a modified Bi-directional Gated Recurrent Unit (Bi-GRU) method in conjunction with Shuffled Frog Leaping Algorithm (SFLA). Our approach overcomes some of the shortcomings of conventional Bi-GRU method in choosing the right scaling parameters during training. Bi-GRU method is opted for detecting the cognitive deficits of a learner and SFLA is applied over Bi-GRU in order to hyper-Tune the parameters. The proposed method is compared with a few cutting-edge methods, and the experimental result outperforms the other methods in training, validation, and testing accuracies, achieving 99.34%, 98.98%, and 99.19% respectively. © 2024 IEEE.

Modern livelihood is endangered by many challenges. Such a challenge is air pollution. To exterminate the lives of the residents from the ill effects of air pollution one has to gather the knowledge of air health of a place he/she is planning to go in. A timely response from a real-time air pollution monitoring system may be convenient in this regard. In this paper, an loT -enabled air pollution monitoring system is proposed, which is competent in collecting real-time data itself, and after data collection, it is proficient in analyzing and delivering the assessment of the enquired place's air quality with some suggestive measures to the users who place a query regarding that. Several air pollution-related sensors are deployed in this regard to capture the real-time pollutant concentrations and meteorological parameters, and the air health assessment work is accomplished using an efficient data fusion technique, which delivers the air health status of a place with the help of the current data only without using historical data. Finally, the air health status is communicated to the users via some web applications. The system is sound and smart enough to analyze the air health of a place with utmost accuracy and promptness. © 2024 IEEE.
