The rapid evolution of autonomous and connected vehicles has led to their integration with numerous technologies and software, rendering them vulnerable targets for cybersecurity attacks. While efforts have traditionally focused on preventing these attacks, the escalating risk underscores the importance of also vindicating their wallop. Nevertheless, this procedure is often onerous & facade scalability confronted, particularly due to connectivity issues in automobiles. This research advises a vehicle-based vibrant imposition response scheme, enabling swift responses to a variety of incidents and reducing reliance on external security centers. The classification encompasses an inclusive range of probable retorts, a procedure for evaluating retorts, & innumerable assortment approaches. Implemented on an embedded platform, the solution was evaluated using two distinct cyberattack use cases, highlighting its adaptability, responsiveness, volume for dynamic arrangement constraint alterations & nominal memory trail. Concurrently, this paper presents an innovative (AVSF) that synergistically integrates (AI) and cybersecurity techniques to fortify AV resilience against evolving threats. Additionally, the framework incorporates advanced cybersecurity measures such as encryption, authentication, and intrusion detection to mitigate vulnerabilities and safeguard critical AV systems. The fusion of AI and cybersecurity not only enhances AV security posture but also enables intelligent cyber threat monitoring and response capabilities. Extensive simulations and experimental evaluations demonstrate the efficacy of the AVSF in real-time scenarios, contributing to the development of robust security solutions for autonomous vehicle deployment and advancing safer transportation systems in the era of AI-driven mobility. © 2024 IEEE.

Learning to generate motions of thin structures such as plant leaves in dynamic view synthesis is challenging. This is because thin structures usually undergo small but fast, non-rigid motions as they interact with air and wind. When given a set of RGB images or videos of a scene with moving thin structures as input, existing methods that map the scene to its corresponding canonical space for rendering novel views fail as the object movements are too subtle compared to the background. Disentangling the objects with thin parts from the background scene is also challenging when the parts show fast and rapid motions. To address these issues, we propose a Neural Radiance Field (NeRF)-based framework that accurately reconstructs thin structures such as leaves and captures their subtle, fast motions. The framework learns the geometry of a scene by mapping the dynamic images to a canonical scene in which the scene remains static. We propose a ray masking network to further decompose the canonical scene into foreground and background, thus enabling the network to focus more on foreground movements. We conducted experiments using a dataset containing thin structures such as leaves and petals, which include image sequences collected by us and one public image sequence. The paper proposes a model for the examination of tweets (brief texts and messages) in Russian. The model is based on the authors' explorations on the identification of tweets meanings. The main idea is to apply the latest developed quantum machine learning method to the hierarchical classification models of texts. This approach avoids the text corpus necessity and supports the online learning due to the very design. The model proposed is tested in the experiment. The target content was given in the experiment and the model is used to measure the correspondence between the target topics and the test messages. The result of the experiment shows that the proposed method allows to distinguish the target content in the test text. © 2024 IEEE.

Principal Components Analysis (PCA) is a popular dimensionality reduction and feature selection technique. It works by swiping non-informative features while retaining those that are still potentially useful. However, regardless of its wide applications in statistical analysis, the influence of PCA on the performance of classification algorithms has been rarely studied, particularly in the domain of medical image classification. In this paper, we present a thorough analysis of the influence of applying PCA on the classification of medical images. The dataset used in this study consists of thousands of images that represent four types of blood cells. These images are used to train three machine-learning classifier models after transforming images into numerical vectors using a CNN pre-trained embedding algorithm, where each image is encoded using one thousand numerical vectors. The study involves building three classification models using (1) K-nearest Neighbor (KNN), (2) Logistic Regression (LR), and (3) Random Forests (RF). Each model was built twice, once after the application of PCA to reduce the dimensionality of the embedded features and once with the original embedded features. The performance of each model is evaluated using Classification accuracy, F1, AUC, Recall, precision, and specificity metrics. The recorded performance is then compared to drawing a decisive conclusion. © 2024 IEEE.

With the development of science and technology through social networks, the process of diffusion has become a controversial subject. In social networks, the process of diffusion is transmitted from one individual to another. The influence maximization problem, in which at least k nodes are chosen as the initial nodes of the spreader in the smallest amount of time, is one of the most critical aspects of the diffusion process. Furthermore, the initial nodes in the social network should generate the most influence on the other nodes in the network. However, in the algorithms proposed to solve the problem of influence maximization, the real-world factors which affect the influence probability in diffusion models are ignored for example, the influence probability is determined randomly. This problem causes influence maximization algorithms based on diffusion models to face the challenge of time-consuming Monte Carlo simulation. So, the RIM algorithm presented in this article which this method selects the initial nodes of the spreader according on their local reachability. In addition, Due to privacy in social networks, complete information about people such as gender, education, etc. is not available. For this reason, in the RIM algorithm, using the graph structure in social networks, the influence probability is calculated in the new DBT diffusion model. In addition, the RIM algorithm exhibits stable performance in the selection of the spreader's initial nodes in terms of influence spread, and execution time. © 2023 IEEE.

Early detection of lung cancer, liver cancer (HCC), and pancreatitis is crucial for effective treatment. This study assessed the use of laser guidance CT scans for diagnosis and staging. 26 patients of CT scan which were collected from BVH and civil hospital Bahawalpur, Pakistan. Visible light with a 405 nm wavelength is used. Results showed staging of lung cancer (2 at stage 1, 2 at stage 2, 3 at stage 4) and HCC (stages 1 to 4a). Pancreatic diseases detected included acute pancreatitis (44%), chronic pancreatitis (22%), gallstones (22%), and pancreatic tumors (11%). Alkaline phosphatase, SGOT, and blood urea levels were notably elevated in all three cancers compared to controls. CT scans show promise in identifying cancer stages and diagnosing pancreatitis, aiding in tailored treatment. Statistical analysis shows that alkaline phosphatase emerges as a potential biomarker for these conditions. ©2025 Old City Publishing, Inc.

Reversible data hiding (RDH) is one special type of data hiding, and is widely used for many intended applications. Moreover, to protect the cover image, RDH in encrypted image (RDHEI) is accordingly proposed. With the reversibility and hiding data in encrypted image, RDHEI has potential utility in fields such as military and medical image transmission, and forensic analysis. Recently, Panchikkil et al. propose a RDHEI by using pixel swapping (RDHE-PSW) to swap some pixels in a block. The pixel swapping does not change pixel values, and thus Panchikkil et al.’s RDHEI-PSW can retain entropy and histogram. The smoothness of a block is calculated to extract the hidden bits and meantime recover the cover image. Panchikkil et al.’s RDHEI-PSW only hides two secret bits in every block. Recently, Kim et al. use pixel shifting (PSH), a circular right shift on a block, instead of pixel swapping to propose a RDHEI-PSH. In this paper, we still adopt PSH approach but use it in a different way (a modified PSH) to propose an enhanced RDHEI-PSH with a higher embedding capacity than Kim et al.’s RDHEI-PSH. Our enhanced RDHEI-PSH double the patterns on a block, on which we can embed more secret bits. Experimental results demonstrate that our enhanced RDHEI-PSH surpasses Panchikkil et al.’s RDHEI-PSW and Kim et al.’s RDHEI-PSH. © 2025 SPIE.

Fingerprints are crucial in identification of humans. The uniqueness of finger prints makes it an interesting subject. Fingerprints are termed as a technique used to define, assess, and quantify a person's physical and behavioral property. Deep learning has made its application in all the major fields such as natural language processing, computer vision and speech processing. Deep learning has also found its application in the important subject of fingerprint synthesis and biometric. The ever-growing complexity of fingerprint authentication issues, from cellphone authentication to airport security systems, seems to be best handled by these models. In recent years, deep learning-based models have been used more and more to raise the accuracy of various fingerprint recognition systems. The persuasive capacity of Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) to generate believable instances can be credibly taken from an existing distribution of samples. GAN exhibits exceptional performance on data generation-based tasks and also encourages study in privacy and security. In this work, using Adaptive Deep Convolution Generative Adversarial Networks (ADCGAN), we develop a model that generates and authenticate the fingerprints. A Socofing dataset was trained on ADGAN model. The model gave 92% accuracy. The conduct of fingerprint research has been made possible due to ADGAN, without restrictions related to the confidential nature of biometric data. © 2023 IEEE.

The automation of processes in greenhouses provides a significant advantage to the agricultural sector. Due to the rapid growth of the population, increasing demand for food and labor shortage make the autonomous monitoring and management of agricultural work more important. Capsicum is a largely consumed vegetable in South Asia, which can be efficiently grown in greenhouses. Although there are many capsicum farms, they lack quality and efficient production to match the increasing demand. This paper proposes a robotic system for use in capsicum greenhouses that can navigate and monitor the plants to identify diseases, track the yield, and take remediation actions. The robot navigates to each plant in the greenhouse autonomously by using the SLAM approach with the use of laser range sensor data. The 4 DoF robotic arm of the robot has a camera and a sprayer attached to its end to investigate plants and spray remedies to diseased plants. The robotic arm moves around the plant to capture the images to detect deceases and count the pods to estimate the yield. The sprayer of the robot sprays remedies precisely to targeted plants to control pests and diseases. The system was successfully implemented and tested with the proposed functions. © 2023 IEEE.

This study delves into the prediction of stock prices in the Bangladesh stock market using advanced deep learning frameworks, with a particular focus on the Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory (Bi-LSTM) model. Traditional statistical models often struggle to effectively capture the complex, non-linear characteristics of financial data, leading to inconsistent results. The Bi-LSTM model, however, addresses this challenge by processing data in both forward and backward sequences, making it particularly suitable for analyzing the intricate dynamics of the Bangladesh stock market. A rigorous feature engineering process is undertaken, incorporating 64 distinct features that include market trends, stock-specific indicators, technical and fundamental variables, as well as crucial macroeconomic factors like gold prices and foreign exchange reserves. The dataset spans historical stock market data from 2012 to 2022, with comprehensive preprocessing steps taken to ensure data quality and consistency. Hyperparameter tuning is executed through a grid search to optimize model performance. The evaluation of the Bi-LSTM model is carried out using metrics such as Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE), Mean Squared Error (MSE), and the R2 score, which demonstrate its enhanced predictive power compared to traditional models. This research contributes to the growing field of deep learning in financial forecasting, offering new perspectives for stock price prediction in emerging markets, while also addressing ethical issues to minimize risks like market manipulation. © 2024 IEEE.
