Using small cells to create an ultra-dense network for 5G and beyond is a promising strategy to improve network coverage, data demands and reduce latency. Despite using small cells, these dense wireless networks result in performance degradation and increased energy consumption. Energy consumption is a crucial parameter for sustainable future wireless networks. In order to improve quality of service (QoS) and Energy Efficiency (EE), efficient resource allocation strategies are required. This paper investigates a Parameterized Double Deep Q-Network (PDDQN) based framework for joint user association and power allocation to improve EE and throughput. Apart from other conventional machine learning approaches, considering single state space of the joint optimization problem, our proposed framework considers both discrete and continuous state spaces. Our proposed PDDQN technique also solves the generalization problem that occurs due to similar states. The simulation results indicate that the proposed work significantly improves energy EE and throughput in large-scale learning problems. © 2023 IEEE.

Robotic manipulators, as the most versatile class of modern automatic devices, are part of most automated production systems. The versatility of robots is largely associated with the developed software of the controllers included in their composition. However, despite certain achievements, there are no sufficiently effective commercial software products that solve the problem of planning the trajectories of multilink manipulators. The problem of trajectory planning acquires particular complexity for organizing the joint work of several manipulators, which is relevant for engineering practice: in order to avoid collisions, it is necessary to control the trajectory not only of the working body, but also of all nodes of each manipulator. In view of the obvious ambiguity for the solution of the inverse kinematics problem, necessary for planning, it is necessary to introduce some criteria that exclude ambiguity. In this paper, we discuss the possibility for applying the methods of analytical mechanics to implement the proposed approach - the choice of a trajectory based on the minimum energy consumption along the planned trajectory. © 2023 IEEE.

This study investigates public attitudes towards the COVID-19 vaccine through Twitter data analysis. Using the Twitter API, tweets were collected, preprocessed, and labeled. Features were extracted using the Bag of Words representation, and sentiment analysis was conducted using Text Blob and Vader. Machine learning and deep learning models were trained and tested, revealing that deep learning models achieved the highest accuracy and F1 score. The research underscores the efficacy of machine learning and deep learning in analyzing COVID-19 vaccine-related tweets, shedding light on factors influencing vaccine resistance. These insights are crucial for pharmaceutical companies and public health officials, enabling them to address barriers to vaccine acceptance and enhance the societal benefits of widespread vaccination, contributing to the pandemic's resolution. © 2023 IEEE.

Software development team formation is a task done by skilled persons who have enough experience in mapping crew members to project tasks. Choosing software development team members according to their experience and within the amount of available budget/time is a vital task. However, the availability of a tool to suggest the best team members to the different tasks in some projects will definitely help project managers in their selections. This work is related to suggesting the most suitable skilled software development professionals to projects tasks based on some machine learning technique (Random Forest Classifier). The project manager just feeds the tool with the required tasks, and the latter suggests a ranked list of the most suitable professionals that fit each task which reflects positively on the team formation process. The experimental results conducted at the end of the work reflect the improvement of software development team formation gained comparable with the ordinary, self-experience-based one. © 2022 IEEE.

This study explores user experiences and challenges in mobile wallet adoption in emerging markets using the UTAUT model. These markets face rapid technological growth alongside infrastructural and economic challenges. The research examines how factors like performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions influence adoption. Data from 80 mobile wallet users was collected through an online survey and analyzed using SmartPLS 4.1.0.6. The results show that performance and effort expectancy predict behavioral intention, while facilitating conditions affect actual usage. The study highlights the role of infrastructure in supporting adoption and validates the UTAUT model's relevance in less developed regions. These findings provide insights into enhancing financial inclusion in emerging markets. © 2024 IEEE.

In spite of the adverse effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the global economy, it has had a positive impact on the environment. To combat the spread of the virus, many countries, including Jordan, imposed lockdown measures that involved the suspension of economic activities such as manufacturing operations, transportation, and construction (with some exceptions for essential services). Consequently, the levels of certain atmospheric pollutants, such as NO2 and CO, decreased by an average of 54% and 7%, respectively, during the lockdown period in Jordan. By conducting a systematic review of the lockdown measures and applying spatiotemporal analysis, this study established a methodology to analyze the influence of pandemic mitigation measures on regional air quality. The findings revealed a significant improvement in air quality throughout the study area during the lockdown period. © 2023 IEEE.

Automated control of mobile vehicles involves the precise positioning of a moving object in space as a function of time along a given trajectory in a network or coordinate system. Binary code systems such as Rademacher, Gray, and Haar bases are employed to establish coordinate bindings in parallel codes. However, as the accuracy of positioning increases, this approach necessitates: a significant expansion of the number of digits used to represent data;an increase in the computational power of tracking hardware;an enhancement in the bandwidth of communication channels;a rise in energy consumption by equipment;ensuring the security of information exchange;an escalation in the cost of moving vehicle motion control systems. This means that achieving high-accuracy positioning necessitates the use of more powerful and expensive hardware, as well as ensuring the security of information exchange. Consequently, improving positioning accuracy can result in an increase in the cost of control systems for mobile vehicles. The automated significance of this research lies in reducing the requirements for the aforementioned parameters by implementing more efficient data encoding methods in the mobile control system. Methods: The use of recursive cyclic Galois code systems for the first time made it possible to implement vertical information technology with sequentially (bit)-oriented data streams with Hartley density. The objective of this work is to develop methods, software, and hardware for mobile object control systems based on the recursive encoding of motion routes and their positioning in space. The novelty of the proposed methods lies in the transition from parallel to vertical information technology for encoding and exchanging information. The practical aspect involves the development and implementation of mathematical, software, and technical support for mobile object control systems. This study uses cryptography to tackle the important problem of data security in cloud computing. Two keys are used in the Dual Key Encryption (DKE) method for both encryption and decryption. DKE employs a public key for the first encryption round before cloud upload and a user-only private key for the second round of encryption. Decryption operates oppositely. When tested and simulated with different file sizes on a CloudAnalyst simulator, DKE operates faster and more efficiently than cryptographic methods such as Triple DES (3DES), AES, RSA, and DES. Thanks to developments in information technology, cloud computing has made several services available online. Data security assurance is still very difficult to achieve, nevertheless. In this context, cryptography is essential and has led to the creation of the novel DKE technology. This technology is not only far more efficient than well-known cryptographic techniques such as 3DES, but it also improves data security. © 2023 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

The rapid development of the Internet has revo-lutionized our lives, providing us with an array of convenient services. However, this revolution has also led to the problem of data overload. Personalized recommendation services have been widely recognized as an effective solution to this problem by both the industrial and academic communities. Accurate prediction of click-through rate (CTR) is a critical task in personalized recommendation systems since it can improve the user's shopping experience, ultimately increasing revenue for the platform. To achieve accurate CTR prediction, it is crucial to capture user interests. While several methods for interest modeling exist, challenges related to user interest evolution and user behavior noise need further attention. This paper proposes a novel CTR prediction model named the Evolutionary Interest Representation Network (EIRN), which learns the evolving interest representation of users from their behaviors, profiles, and environmental attributes. In the model, we introduce an advertisement correlation graph decomposition layer and a noise filter layer to enhance and purify the user behavior representation. An interest extraction layer is designed to capture sequential correlations and common characteristics between user behaviors, representing their interests. Additionally, as user interests evolve over time and their importance changes, an attention-based interest evolution layer is designed to track the evolution of user interests. Our proposed method is validated using four public datasets and an industrial dataset, showing its superiority over existing CTR prediction methods. © 2023 IEEE.

In recent years, the utilization of location-based augmented reality (LAR) has gained popularity across various domains, including tourism, education, gaming, and advertising. The advancements in AR technology have made it easier to develop immersive LAR applications. ARCore, a widely adopted AR development library, enables the creation of location-based AR apps on Android devices. However, the implementation of ARCore in real-Time scenarios that demand significant computational resources, like outdoor pedestrian navigation, can vary depending on the chosen development environment. This research aims to explore and compare the running load performance of ARCore implementation in location-based AR applications developed with Unity and Android Native, which are two prevalent AR development platforms. The study involves building a prototype LAR application using both Unity and native Android, followed by comprehensive running load performance evaluations. The findings reveal that while both Unity and native Android apps can deliver compelling location-based AR experiences, native Android apps demonstrate superior performance and resource efficiency in outdoor scenarios, whereas Unity offers the advantage of multi-platform support and ease of development for complex 3D assets. These insights provide valuable guidance to developers in selecting the most suitable approach for developing location-based AR applications for navigation, aligning with their specific needs and requirements. © 2023 IEEE.
