This paper studies the behavior of three-phase power transformers under various voltage sag conditions. A nonlinear model of a three-phase three-leg transformer based on electric and magnetic circuit topologies is implemented and solved in time-domain using iterative numerical techniques. The corresponding transformer waveforms are computed and analyzed in both the time and frequency domains. Simulations are performed for different voltage sag magnitudes, starting and termination (recovery instant waveform) angles. It is shown that there can be significant distortions in transformer flux and magnetizing current, as well as three-phase output voltages and currents. Furthermore, high levels of voltage sag can severely deteriorate the power quality of input and output current and voltage waveforms.

An approach for the identification of features supported by class models annotated with stereotypes is shown in this paper. The models are automatically reverse engineered by a tool called Rejasp/Dmasp where attributes and methods are stereotyped if they have some relation with candidate features. The approach consists of four guidelines and focuses on identifying features in embedded systems of ground vehicles. In this paper, we present a method to navigate a mobile robot using a webcam. This method determines the shortest path for the robot to transverse to its target location, while avoiding obstacles along the way. The environment is first captured as an image using a webcam. Image processing methods are then performed to identify the existence of obstacles within the environment. Using the Voronoi Diagrams VD(s) method, locations with obstacles are identified and the corresponding Voronoi cells are eliminated. From the remaining Voronoi cells, the shortest path to the goal is identified. The program is written in MATLAB with the Image Processing toolbox. The proposed method does not make use of any other type of sensor other than the webcam.
