This paper analyzes the zero dynamics of three-phase current source inverters fed from a voltage source and connected to a local resistive load or the electrical power grid. The zero dynamics is the remaining dynamics of a system when it exactly meets the control objectives. It is important for understanding the system behaviour, and its limitations, and designing efficacious controllers. The analysis concludes that, when the power source is modelled from its Thévenin equivalent circuit, some stability problems occur in the dc link if the control scheme only tracks the output voltage. The paper includes an alternative nested-loop controller that overcomes the internal dc-current instability.

This paper proposes a high-level path planning strategy under Time Petri net (TPN) formalism for a multiagent system, which is subject to Metric Interval Temporal Logic (MITL) specifications. The work aims to design a scalable model with respect to the number of agents, as the MITL formula requires multiple agents to ensure similar tasks. The obtained model is denoted Composed Time Petri net and it couples two TPN representations assigned to the motion of the agents, respectively to the MITL specification. The planning approach is based on model-checking methods and the results are evaluated on a case study applied in robotics industry.

A circuit design of a high-speed CBJT operational amplifier (OpAmp) based on an “folded” cascode is proposed, in which a differentiating transient correction circuit is introduced to increase the maximum slew rate of the output voltage (SR). The considered OpAmp is intended for use in a subclass of so-called discrete-to-analog SC filters on switched capacitors, where (in some important cases) higher SR values of the OpAmp are required. In addition, such high-speed OpAmps are in demand in drivers of high-speed analog-to-digital converters and other devices of automatics and computer engineering. Computer simulation in LTSpice environment shows that the proposed CBJT OpAmp circuit designs for micron silicon technological processes provide SR increase from 45.8 V/μs to 18000 V/μs.

A smart home allows automated technology to controlsystems and appliances to assist daily life activities. In the current work, a prototype of a designed smart home health-aware system is presented. Three predefined ruled agents have been used to gather data, communicate between themselves, interpret the data based on several machine learning algorithms to predict abnormality for cardiac conditions. The paper also compares results obtained by running five machine learning algorithms. The agents function in accordance with predefined dataset describing residents ’ age, gender, height, weight, systolic and diastolic blood pressure, cholesterol, and glucose levels, smoking and alcohol consumption habits, and lastly, physical activity. Our plan is to simplify ubiquitous health monitoring for smart home’s residents. The proposed solution aims to monitor parametric measurements to alert health specialists in case of emergencies.

This research explains the bandwidth verification and application of the VHF antenna for partial discharge measurement. Three different VHF antennas were used for the experiment. In the research, the measuring bandwidth of such antennas was evaluated using a network analyzer. The antenna properties such as return loss and voltage standing wave ratio were analyzed. Then, the partial discharge in the air was simulated using the surface discharge model. The physical phenomena of PD occur like pulse current transients and electromagnetic waves. The pulse current transients were detected using a coupling capacitor and HFCT sensor, while the electromagnetic wave was detected using a VHF antenna. five test positions of the VHF antenna were designated for partial discharge measurements namely 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 meters away from the partial discharge source. The PRPD pattern, PD magnitude, and waveform obtained from the VHF antenna were compared with coupling capacitors and HFCT sensors and presented in this paper. It is found that the VHF antenna, which has higher return loss and lower voltage standing wave ratio, provides high performance to detect the electromagnetic wave of partial discharge.

The relevance of the present research is related to the search for promising ideas for increasing the maximum slew rate of the output voltage ($\text{SR}_{\text{M}}$) of new-generation operational amplifiers (OpAmps). Proposed circuit techniques that provide (with simultaneous use) an increase in $\text{SR}_{\text{M}}$ by more than 2 orders of magnitude. Such high-speed operational amplifiers are in demand today for application in drivers of high-speed ADCs (AD9208, AD9691, etc.), and as active elements in circuits of analog-to-discrete filters on switched capacitors. It is proposed to introduce (according to the developed rules) a nonlinear differentiating RC-circuit realized based on an additional differential stage and a differentiating capacitor of small capacitance into the classical OpAmps with one integrating correction capacitance. Such circuit "additives" practically do not change the low-signal dynamic and static parameters of the OpAmp, and at a large signal during the transient front, when the input stage enters the nonlinear mode, form a large current overcharge of the integrating correction capacitor. Consequently, the $\text{SR}_{\text{M}}$ of the OpAmp is significantly increased.
