This paper proposes an algorithm for online controller synthesis for autonomous systems with LTI dynamics considering obstacle avoidance. The obstacles are assumed to be other systems with affine probabilistic dynamics. The initial state as well as the disturbances of these systems are Gaussian distributed. To guarantee that the probability of a collision is smaller than a predefined threshold, probabilistic reachable sets are used. Due to the Gaussian distribution, the probabilistic reachability procedure can use the principles of the ellipsoidal calculus. For the autonomous system, these time-varying reachable sets of the other systems are avoided by an approach, which is based on model predictive control and successive convexification of the constraints. Due to high computational times required for the computation of probabilistic reachable sets and the convexification, different techniques to reduce the computational time significantly are also proposed.

This paper presents client-server mobile system for diagnosis of asynchronous motors. The system is created as a mobile application for smartphones and tablets. The system provides processing of the measured values of the currents and voltages of the stator phases of the asynchronous motor. According to the processing results, the results of diagnostics and forecasting of the current state of asynchronous motors are calculated. The software runs on the Android OS. The main purpose is to predict the current state of AD, which has a parametric electromagnetic asymmetry of the stator phases.

This paper addresses finite-time horizon optimal control for discrete-time dynamics with additional stochastic disturbances. In contrast to most existing approaches to this problem, we also minimize the uncertainty of future states arising from stochastic disturbances and from an uncertain initial state. Thus, the optimal control strategy balances the minimization of the expected distances to a reference signal, and the minimization of the uncertainty respectively. As opposed to prior work, the optimization is formulated subject to possible disturbance feedback policies. This enables to solve one semi-definite program over H steps, instead of solving H problems over one step, and the resulting reduced complexity allows one to use the scheme in online and predictive control. The proposed method is applicable to time-varying state constraints (in the sense of chance constraints) as well as time-invariant input constraints.

The purpose of this paper is to show how to identify and handle suspension system vibrations using two different control strategies: Sliding Mode control (SMC) and a Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) controller. A four-degree-of-freedom (4DOF) half-car suspension model is used. Suspension performance factors such as ride comfort, suspension deflection, and vehicle handling necessitate a thorough controlsystem. This controlsystem, which is carried out with the MATLAB application, is made up of three components: the controller, the suspension system model, and input signals (road profile and actuator force). The simulation results illustrate a comparison between the uncontrolled suspension system and the half-car active suspension system's PID and SMC controllers.

This paper presents a study for optimizing a hot rolling mill. The paper is devoted to the study of ways to reduce the effect of shock loads of synchronous electric drives of the roughing mill group on the relative lengthening of the metal strip in the inter-stand gap of the rolling stands of the finishing mill group. The elasticity of the metal strip in the inter-stand gap of the rolling mill has a significant impact on the movement of intercoupled multi-motor electric drives of the finishing mill group. Another crucial route of exposure that influences the motion of the electric drives within the finishing mill group involves the electromagnetic connection between the drives in the roughing and finishing mill groups. The impact of the electromagnetically connected circuits is evident through the effect of shock loads from synchronous electric drives on the angular velocity of the direct current electric drives within the finishing mill group. The characteristics of the electromagnetic communication circuit are established by the power grid arrangement and equipment specifications. To assess the quality of work of electric drives of the finishing mill group, it is proposed to use the relative lengthening of the metal strip in the inter-stand gap, which is an important indirect indicator of the quality of rolling. The mathematical model of a hot rolling mill that takes into account both the elasticity of the metal strip that connects the DC electric drives of the finishing group, and the electromagnetic coupling circuit that takes into account the impact loads of synchronous electric drives of the roughing group on the example of the mill 1700 of ArcelorMittal Temirtau JSC was proposed in this paper. Using the mathematical model developed in Simulink software using the methods of planning the experiment, regression models were obtained to establish the dependence of the parameters of overexcitation of a synchronous motor on the magnitude of the voltage sag in the no
