The Domain Algorithm visualizations are multimedia-based representations of algorithms that help students learn how they operate and behave. Algorithm visualizations provide numerous benefits to instructors and students, including an improved understanding of difficult algorithms in programming. By stripping down the complexities of algorithms and presenting them in simplified visual ways, students can obtain a more thorough knowledge of how they perform. Instructional approaches, such as guided instruction or discovery learning, are critical to the pedagogical effectiveness of algorithm representations. Guided instructions can considerably boost learners' overall performance in problem-solving activities that incorporate visualizations. At the same time, discovery education promotes exploration and experimentation, yet it may result in longer learning times and increased mental demands. A combination of these approaches is required for optimal effectiveness of instruction. In this paper, we investigate how the pedagogical effectiveness of algorithm visualizations should be determined by a variety of elements, including student characteristics, visual and cognitive processing ability, algorithm representation, and instructional context based on a literature review and interviews with field experts, and a bunch of recommendations is provided that has witnessed by authors during their long teaching periods. © 2024 IEEE.

Efficient currency detection and counting systems are crucial for the smooth operation of any financial ecosystem. This paper explores the development, implementation, and potential impact of a specialized currency detection and counting system for Bangladeshi coin currencies. Through this comprehensive study, this paper addresses the unique challenges and opportunities in Bangladesh's coin currency management landscape, highlighting the motivations and results of such a system's introduction. computer vision technology includes currency detection. In this paper, we present a coin currency detection system that can detect coin currency from images. Designing a CNN-based coin recognition system for the recognition of Bangladeshi coins of denominations '1tk', '2tk', and '5tk'. We have created a dataset that contains more than 10,000 images. We photographed coin currencies from both sides, and the system can recognize coin currencies from both sides. For high efficiency, we test on various backgrounds. Experimental results are presented successfully with a training accuracy of 99.99% with VGG16, 99.38% with VGG19, and 99.99% with EfficientNetB0. We also got validation accuracy with VGG16 of 90.90%, 99.96% with VGG19, and 99.51% with EfficientNetB0. © 2024 IEEE.

Oral health is vital to overall well-being but is often overlooked due to inefficient monitoring tools and delayed diagnosis. This project presents a smart handheld device featuring a miniaturized camera for detecting oral issues like plaque, cavities, teeth discoloration and gum diseases in real-time. Using image processing and deep learning algorithms, the device provides precise feedback and actionable insights. Paired with a mobile application offering detailed analysis and recommendations, it empowers users to adopt proactive oral hygiene practices to prevent teeth disorder. © 2025 IEEE.

Fog Computing enables the efficient offloading of computational tasks from IoT Devices to Fog nodes, enhancing processing efficiency and reducing latency. This paper introduces the Dynamic Matching with Deferred Acceptance (DMDA) algorithm, designed to optimize the allocation of GPU and CPU resources within Fog Computing environments, specifically for smart city applications. The DMDA algorithm allocates resources to IoT Devices based on parameters such as data type, computational load, priority, and responsiveness. Devices processing image or video data are given priority for GPU allocation, while other devices are assigned to CPUs based on their cumulative performance scores. Devices with lower priority are reassigned to CPU resources or excluded when resource availability is exhausted, significantly enhancing performance under high-demand scenarios. The algorithm employs a Mixed-Integer Linear Programming (MILP) model to maximize the aggregate score of allocated devices while adhering to resource constraints. Experiments conducted with 50 to 1,000 devices demonstrate that both the total Device Score rate and Allocated Device rate reach 100%, indicating optimal allocation. Empirical findings show that the DMDA algorithm improves resource utilization, reduces processing times, and ensures effective workload distribution across large-scale IoT deployments. © 2024 IEEE.

This study examines the design of fault tolerance mechanisms in cloud computing infrastructure, with particular emphasis on Amazon Web Services (A WS). Fault tolerance is critical to assure the continuous availability and reliability of cloud-based systems. Auto Scaling, an A WS feature, provides a dynamic way to handle demand changes while keeping the system flexible. This article presents a fault tracking management approach using Auto Scaling in A WS based on current research and real-world concerns. The importance of monitoring fault tolerance policies is emphasized, along with practical implementation methods. Furthermore, a case study demonstrating the success of this technique in real-world situations is presented, highlighting its importance for solving current challenges. © 2024 IEEE.

The recognition of sign language has significant importance as an application that addresses the communication challenges faced by those within the Deaf and hard-of-hearing populations. This study introduces a methodology for the identification of sign language using spatio-temporal attributes, specifically concentrating on two distinct sign language datasets: the CSL (Chinese Sign Language) alphabet and the ArSL (Arabic Sign Language) alphabet. The study's objective is to create a powerful recognition system capable of reliably identifying sign language motions. A combination of spatio-temporal characteristics collected from video sequences of sign language motions is used in the suggested technique. These characteristics capture the spatial layout as well as the temporal dynamics of the motions, allowing the model to recognise signals with more precision. Experiments were carried out on the CSL and ArSL alphabet datasets to validate the method's efficacy. The findings of the trials are encouraging. The suggested system recognized CSL alphabet signs with an accuracy of 90.87% and ArSL alphabet signs with an accuracy of 89.46%. These high accuracy rates show the power of the spatiotemporal feature-based method for sign language identification. The system's success on two different sign languages implies that it is adaptable and useful in a wide variety of sign language applications. This study contributes to the evolution of assistive technology, making sign language recognition more accessible and efficient for those who communicate using sign language. Furthermore, the findings pave the way for additional research into spatiotemporal feature-based approaches in sign language recognition, with potential applications in real-world settings such as sign language interpretation and communication support. © 2024 The Authors. By instantly identifying suspicious occurrences, people, and things, smart CCTV systems greatly improve monitoring capacities. In this research, we investigate how to enhance CCTV video stream anomaly detection using state-of-the-art machine-vision and machine-learning techniques, namely UNET and ALEXNET. In contrast to more conventional methods that depend on supervised learning, this research makes use of uncontrolled and semi-supervised learning techniques to tackle the variety and complexity of anomalies. Using algorithms like UNET and ALEXNET, the system can learn to spot outliers on its own, with little to no help from humans. Because it can tell the difference between normal and abnormal situations, this method improves monitoring efficiency and decreases false alarms. In addition, the system maintains original quality for unusual occurrences while keeping typical video at a lower level, optimizing storage economy. By combining UNET and ALEXNET algorithms, smart CCTV systems may detect suspicious events before they happen, which increases security and allows for faster reactions to any dangers. © 2024 IEEE.

Nowadays, operating systems have become increasingly complex, with codebases of millions of lines inadvertently containing security bugs. Modern CPUs promise a solution to this with Trusted Execution technologies (e.g., ARM TrustZone, Intel SGX) which can be employed to isolate critical applications from unauthorized access even from more privileged ac-tors (e.g., system kernel or hypervisor). However, as the traditional way to interface with I/O peripherals is by using drivers part an now-considered untrustworthy OS, separate solutions must be devised to secure user input or output to trusted environments by ensuring an authenticated pathway. Our paper provides a systematization of the available trusted I/O path solutions by reviewing the scientific works in this field and extracting common attributes and differences. We categorize them by supported peripheral type and trusted platform, comparing the usability, security and complexity of their implementations. Tuberculosis (TB) is one of the leading causes of deaths globally, mainly in low- and middle-income countries. Early and accurate detection is crucial for effective treatment and disease control. In this paper, models like CNNs-VGG16, ResNet, and DenseNet, to name a few, are taken into an exhaustive study. Optimization techniques, including transfer learning and ensemble methods, which can increase accuracy in the challenging diverse clinical settings, will be presented. Equitable healthcare outcome is achieved in terms of future research directions which include representative datasets and interpretability of the model. © 2025 IEEE.

Every movie belongs to one or more specific genre. In this work, a dataset was prepared consisting of AI-generated movie titles and plots of 10 different genres. Text vectorization was used to convert every single word of the titles and plots into vectors. These vectors were used to predict which genre each movie belongs to. For training, a sequential neural network model was built and used, and an accuracy of almost 80% was achieved. © 2023 IEEE.
