In frequency domain, wavelet coefficient is one of the characteristics of ERG signal which is hidden in frequency-domain. This paper aims to develop a tool for analyzing the constituent frequencies and time of interest in the dog's ERG signal using wavelet analysis. We design a lowpass filter to reduce noise during the measurement of ERG response. ERG dataset was obtained for the light intensity series and their constituent frequencies are analyzed by using the continuous wavelet transform (CWT). The results show that, in time-domain, as light intensity increases, both amplitudes of a-wave and b-wave are higher. We can visualize the noise interference in the ERG signals. Then a lowpass filter is designed to attenuate the noise effect. The filtered signals have lower a-, and b-waves' amplitude which affect the important characteristics in time domain. Therefore, we choose to filter signal from 26ms onward, the main components are recovered, and the filtered signal becomes smoother. In frequency-domain, the peak magnitude of wavelet coefficients is increased as light intensity increases. © 2023 IEEE.

The relevance of the present research is related to the search for promising ideas for increasing the maximum slew rate of the output voltage (SRM) of new-generation operational amplifiers (OpAmps). Proposed circuit techniques that provide (with simultaneous use) an increase in SRM by more than 2 orders of magnitude. Such high-speed operational amplifiers are in demand today for application in drivers of high-speed ADCs (AD9208, AD9691, etc.), and as active elements in circuits of analog-to-discrete filters on switched capacitors. It is proposed to introduce (according to the developed rules) a nonlinear differentiating RC-circuit realized based on an additional differential stage and a differentiating capacitor of small capacitance into the classical OpAmps with one integrating correction capacitance. Such circuit "additives"practically do not change the low-signal dynamic and static parameters of the OpAmp, and at a large signal during the transient front, when the input stage enters the nonlinear mode, form a large current overcharge of the integrating correction capacitor. Consequently, the SRM of the OpAmp is significantly increased. © 2024 IEEE.

The Tail-Sitter VTOL UAV is a new type of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAVS), and it has been the focus and difficulty of domestic and foreign scholars because of the large state changes and high control difficulty in the transition process. In this paper, an improved L1 adaptive control method was proposed to solve the problem that the aerodynamic parameters of Tail-Sitter VTOL UAV changed greatly during the transition process. Finally, the design process of the improved L1 adaptive controller is introduced in detail, and the digital simulation is carried out to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the improved L1 adaptive controller in the UAV transition process. Finally, the digital simulation results of the whole process of Tail-Sitter VTOL UAV are given and analyzed. © 2023 IEEE.

The transition to vehicle electrification introduces new demands on chassis dynamics, paving the way for advances in driving dynamics, safety, and efficiency. A key consideration arises: how are driving torque impulses converted in electric vehicles with multiple power sources? This study introduces a novel approach to address these demands through the integration of state-of-the-art yaw control, using concurrent front/rear axle and front right/front left torque distribution based on the wheel speed balance control concept. Our aim is not necessarily to demonstrate the supremacy of our approach, but rather to present a fresh philosophical perspective on the problem of yaw control in electric vehicles. Our method embodies dynamic load transfer and axle dynamics into the yaw control problem formulation, setting it apart from current methodologies. Through experimental results, we illustrate the effectiveness of our proposed approach regardless of road surface conditions. © 2024 IEEE.

The circuitry of a switched-capacitor low-pass filter (SCF) is considered, in which it is possible to tune the pole frequency without changing the capacitances of the switched capacitors, for example, by selecting them of the same kind. To study the suggested SCF circuit, the analysis in the time domain was used, and the obtained characteristics of the SCF were further compared with the characteristics of a generalized second-order analog filter. It is shown that the parameters implemented by the suggested filter depend not only on the capacitance values of the switched capacitors, but also on the ratio of the resistances of two additional resistors. Moreover, the SCF pole frequency is determined by the switching frequency of the keys, the ratios of the capacitances of the switched capacitors, as well as the ratio of the resistances of additional resistors. Due to the goal-oriented selection of the resistances of these resistors, it is possible to lower the SCF pole frequency at constant and identical values of the capacitances of the switched capacitors. © 2023 IEEE.

Electromagnetic calculations of electric machines are traditionally performed using numerical methods. However, the approximate nature of the results obtained during the numerical calculation makes it difficult to develop general theoretical and practical conclusions. In this regard, the issues of developing accurate analytical methods for calculating electromagnetic parameters and operating modes of electromechanical systems remain relevant. The article presents a mathematical model of the magnetic field of a magnetoelectric valve motor using the Fourier- Euler variable separation method. The field created by the rotor magnets and the current of the stator winding was assumed to be plane-parallel. The active region of the engine was divided into a set of geometrically homogeneous horizontal bands, at the boundaries of which the conditions of conjugation of their magnetic fields are fulfilled: scalar magnetic potentials and normal components of magnetic induction do not undergo a jump (rupture). In addition to permanent magnets and stator winding currents, magnetizations of ferromagnetic sections of its magnetic circuit were considered as sources of the magnetic field. The article presents the design scheme of the engine and the corresponding Fourier-Euler equations for scalar potentials and magnetic inductions. Based on them, a system of linear parametric equations with respect to unknown Fourier constants is obtained. To solve it in symbolic form, the SymPy library of the Python programming language was used. The obtained analytical expressions for Fourier constants can be used to study the dependencies of their values on the parameters of an electric machine. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper describes a computational investigation on the use of a standard Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm to design a model-free optimal feedback control law based only on input-output data. The considered case study involves vibration suppression of a thin-walled rotating cylinder with collocated piezoelectric actuator/sensor patches. To assess the optimization algorithm performance, comparisons were made with a model-based optimal feedback control law for linear quadratic regulation, obtained by solving the associated algebraic Riccati equation. The simulations include examining the effect of different rotational speeds and parameter uncertainty. The results show a good match between the PSO-based feedback control law and the model-based optimal feedback control law. At the same time, an informed choice of parameter ranges for the PSO algorithm should be made. © 2023 IEEE.

In Advanced Driver-Assistance systems (ADAS) and automatic driving, it is important to accurately recognize objects around the vehicle. DETReg is one of the unsupervised pre-Training methods using Transformer, which is self-supervised by combining localization and categorization. DETReg performs self-supervised learning on unlabeled images. Then, it extracted a wide range of features from rich aspects of the data and gained the flexibility to adapt to many variations. Fine tuning then used the labeled dataset of the target task to fine tune the model to fit the specific dataset. This allowed DETReg to achieve higher accuracy in the object detection task. However, it is difficult to learn DETReg efficiently because of its slow learning time. In this paper, we propose a new pre-Training method for object detection, called Semi-DETReg, that utilizes a few supervised labels during self-supervised learning. We incorporate semi-supervised learning into DETReg by using a portion of the supervised training data in the pre-Training to improve efficiency. We demonstrate the effectiveness of our method by conducting experiments and comparing our method to a similarly trained DETReg. © 2024 IEEE.

Time-variant Free-Space Optical channel behaviour is analysed for temporal variations of Cn2 values, satellite motion and satellite passes. These variations lead to non-stationary statistical properties of the irradiance at the receiver. The analyses are based on representative link models and complemented by measured data from recent test campaigns. These are the 10 km’s near-horizontal field test with the TOMCAT demonstrator terminal and the in-orbit test between the SmallCAT terminal onboard the NorSat-TD LEO microsatellite and the TNO optical ground station GOCAT in The Hague. The study shows substantial variations of the statistical properties of the irradiance for LEO satellite motion and predominantly for time-variant Cn2 behaviour. For variations of satellite passes – with respect to the ground station – the sensitivity of irradiance properties over the full pass is less pronounced. An analysis of the probability distribution of elevation angles over all satellite passes reveals a high probability of low elevation links. © 2024 SPIE.

DSTATCOM is most commonly used to regulate the voltage generated by the SEIG used in wind turbines. DSTATCOM provides the reactive power required by the SEIG and the load. It uses the DC bus voltage to provide the required reactive power. For effective control, the DC bus voltage must be constant at the desired value and the required reactive power must be correctly determined. This also requires correct estimation of the reference source currents. When the system is loaded with non-linear and unbalanced loads, if the load currents are not well filtered, the active and reactive components of the load currents will be incorrectly estimated. In this paper, an E2 PLL-based control algorithm with superior filtering capability is proposed for the control of SEIG loaded with nonlinear and unbalanced load. The proposed algorithm is tested under nonlinear and unbalanced load conditions. The obtained results clearly prove the effectiveness of the E2 PLL-based control algorithm. © 2024 IEEE.
