The article is devoted to the development of a hardware and software complex for prototyping an unregulated asynchronous electric drive. The design technology is presented in three stages: development of a simulation model of the electric drive power circuit;development of an abstract automaton for electric drive control and generation of the machine's program code;creation of a software and hardware complex and emulation of the operation of an electric drive. The development of a simulation model of the electric drive power circuit was carried out in the Matlab-Simulink environment based on the operating algorithm of a typical circuit of an unregulated reversible asynchronous electric drive. An abstract automaton for controlling an electric drive is developed using the theory of automata, the mathematical model of which is presented in the form of a combined table of transitions and outputs and a transition graph, which is implemented in Stateflow. The machine code was generated for the CodeSys controller-programming environment. To test the resulting machine program, a visualization of the control and display panel was created. The software and hardware complex of the electric drive is developed using OPC technologies for inter-program data exchange between Matlab-Simulink and CodeSys. The article presents the results of emulating the operation of a prototype electric drive in all possible modes of its operation. © 2024 IEEE.

The possibility of using artificial intelligence in the task of recognizing objects of interest in medical radiographic images has been studied. To implement computer vision, the YOLOv5 neural network and the use of its functionality for pattern recognition on radiographic images of the human wrist joint were considered. YOLOv5 is one of the most popular neural network models due to a number of advantages and features: high learning speed, object detection accuracy, efficient use of hardware and support for various architectures. The use of an artificial neural network in medicine is a promising direction that allows one to obtain data on pathologies and anomalies on radiographs, improving the diagnostic process and providing quick results with a high percentage of reliability. To adapt the model for the task of recognizing objects of the wrist joint in radiographic images, a data set was labeled, including images for retraining the neural network model and test images. Learning key numerical properties is key to building and tuning effective neural network models. The correctness of their selection and debugging have a direct impact on achieving the desired results when retraining and using neural networks. According to the results of the neural network, all classes of objects were correctly identified in more than 70% of the images;this indicator is a worthy result of the work, which confirms the relevance of using a computer vision tool in medical diagnostics and practical application in clinical practice. © 2024 IEEE.

The electromagnetic calculation of magnetoelectric switched-type motors with high-energy permanent magnets by the method of separating Fourier variables in polar coordinates is considered. A two-dimensional analytical model is used taking into account the real geometry of permanent magnets, stator slots with a fixed finite magnetic permeability of the teeth and the yoke of the stator and rotor cores. To do this, the single magnetic field of the machine is divided into a set of cylindrical strips, analyzed independently of each other. At the boundaries of the strips, the conditions for conjugating magnetic fields are met: scalar magnetic potentials and normal components of magnetic induction do not undergo jumps. Magnetic potentials are determined from the solution of the Dirichlet boundary value problem, and induction, which is usually determined from the solution of the Neumann boundary value problem, is here determined by differentiating the expression for the magnetic potentials.. The latter eliminates the need to solve additionally the Neumann boundary value problem. In this case, an original technology for finding Fourier constants is used, based on the equality of magnetic potentials and magnetic inductions at the boundaries of the strips. Graphs of magnetic induction in the air gap at the pole division are presented, obtained taking into account the stator gearing, winding harmonics of the magnetomotive force and the geometric structure of the arrangement of permanent magnets. It has been shown that bevel of the stator slots by a tooth pitch makes it possible to eliminate the reactive torque of the motor. © 2024 IEEE.

The physical nature of the magnetomotive force (MMF) of an alternating current winding, discretely located in slots and being a source of a magnetic field that has both potential and vortex components, the latter being limited in the space of the slot, is considered. It is shown that in this capacity the role of the MDS is played by a set of magnetic sheets of slot currents, which, in terms of location and duration of sections with linear and nonlinear changes, can differ significantly from the generally accepted (classical) MDS winding. An analytical description of the stepped classical MMF curve of a winding with an integer and a fraction is proposed in the form of a set of expansions into a trigonometric series of MMF curves of coils, presented in the form of two-pole rectangles, having different heights and bases with a shortened winding pitch. It is shown that the frequency response of a fractional winding can be used to find the spectrum of its distribution coefficients for a known arrangement of coils in the slots. It was found using the example of a fairly simple fractional winding with a fractional denominator equal to 2 that, firstly, determining the spectrum of distribution coefficients using a well-known formula for windings with an integer by replacing this number with some equivalent one can lead to significant errors;secondly, variation in the winding pitch significantly changes the amplitudes of the higher harmonics of the MMF, including the appearance of harmonics with an order that is a multiple of three. © 2024 IEEE.

A model describing glitch disturbances is introduced and analysed. The model is used to find the response of glitch disturbances when adding a periodic dither to the input and applying low-pass filtering to the output. This averaged response is used to find a criterion to determine a sufficiently large dither amplitude that will make the averaged glitch disturbances appear as a constant on the output of the low-pass filter. An important resulting property is that the averaged response to glitch disturbances is independent of the model input. By fitting the model to the measured response of a common off-the-shelf digital-to-analogue converter, simulations are used to verify the analytical results. © 2023 IEEE.

The work demonstrates the process of developing a machine learning model for a system for monitoring and controlling the quality of predough at a bakery. This system will provide continuous analysis of the predough parameters, such as temperature, humidity, lifting force and titranic acidity, which will ensure timely detection of deviations in the quality of the predough and avoid production problems. In addition, it will help automate the quality control process and ensure the stability of production processes. Analysis and forecasting of dough parameters will improve the quality of produced bread or other bakery products. Management based also on the predicted values of technological indicators of the predough will allow the enterprise to avoid unnecessary costs of materials and energy and increase economic efficiency. As part of the study, seven machine learning models were created and reviewed, including three linear and four varieties of binary decision trees. An analysis of the best model - a regression decision tree - was carried out, confirming its effectiveness and the validity of the resulting hierarchical structure, in particular, the prediction of important indicators of predough with a high degree of reliability, which indicates its importance in practical applications in production. The created model can be used to monitor and control product quality in real time, allowing operators to quickly identify and correct any deviations in process performance. Also, by analyzing changes in the variables of the predough production process, it is possible to identify precursors of possible production accidents or deviations in product quality, which will allow timely measures to be taken to avoid them. ©2024 IEEE.

The paper presents the implementation of a Continuous-Time Model Predictive control (CMPC) regulator for controlling an electrohydraulic servo system. The control object is a test bench consisting of three modules and a PC-based data acquisition and control system. The system is modeled in state-space form, accounting for parametric uncertainties. The synthesis of the model predictive controller is performed by approximating the control signal using Laguerre orthonormal functions. The article includes mathematical formulas and relationships that illustrate the modeling approach. Simulations and robust analysis of the closed-loop system are conducted. Through a real-time control system, experimental data and graphs are obtained, demonstrating the performance and optimality of the synthesized control strategy. © 2024 IEEE.

In the rapidly evolving realm of technology, the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) has gained prominence, including vibrodiagnostics and industrial equipment health monitoring. Integrating wireless networks within IIoT introduces challenges, notably in a balance between the desired amount of data transmitted and the technical limitations dictated by the issue of autonomy of IIoT devices. When implementing vibration signal-based equipment monitoring, a critical decision arises: transmitting the entire signal for cloud computation or conducting local computations on the sensor for selective data transmission. This paper explores three frequency estimation methods - parabolic interpolation, demodulation, and the harmonic series - in the context of IIoT technologies. Demonstrating their efficacy on synthetic signals, we highlight their suitability for vibrodiagnostics, considering the computational constraints of decentralized IIoT systems. Parabolic interpolation offers efficiency, demodulation excels in real-time processing, and the harmonic series method proves robust in scenarios with limited resolution. The comparative analysis showcases their strengths and limitations, emphasizing the importance of informed decision-making in choosing a frequency estimation method tailored to the specific constraints of the evolving IIoT environment. This study empowers practitioners to enhance the reliability and performance of IIoT-enabled devices and systems through efficient frequency estimation methods. © 2024 IEEE.

A conceptual ontological model of Digital Crime has been developed, consisting of five non-empty classes. Identification and classification were carried out according to the experience of domestic and foreign experts. The central place of the model is occupied by objects of the Digital Crime class, which have their own attributes and are connected by various links with other objects. Objects of some classes are filled in by users, others are formed by knowledge engineers. Based on the ontological analysis, SWRL-rules are constructed that automatically form links between objects of the custom classes Digital crime and Digital evidence with objects of the Type of crime and Criminal Liability classes. The last class contains articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine on criminal liability for digital crimes. The ontological model is developed taking into account possible requests to it. Such queries can be formed on the basis of direct relationships between human and automatic concepts. And also contain logical chains to concepts that do not contain an explicit link in the ontology. It is assumed that the model can be expanded and supplemented. The ontological model of Digital Crime can be used to share information, develop new systems and applications, improve information retrieval and ensure its accordance. © 2023 IEEE.

The paper is devoted to exploration of thermal processes during the growth of leucosapphire by the horizontal directional crystallization method. A mathematical and computer model of the technological process has been developed to predict the dynamics of temperature field in the carbon-graphite thermal node. To solve the problem of providing the required temperature field, the synthesis of a distributed high-precision regulator has been performed, the settings of which allow to provide a given temperature distribution at the crystallization front by controlling the heat flow at the sections of the lower heater. The analysis of transient graphs obtained by modeling of the closed-loop automatic control system confirmed the compliance of the developed system with the requirements of the technological process in terms of temperature field distribution in the leucosapphire. © 2024 IEEE.
