One inventive solution is to turn food waste into power using the Internet of Things (IoT) to meet the growing need for sustainable energy sources. It turns thermal energy from trash into electricity by utilizing thermoelectric devices and the Seebeck effect. Real-time monitoring and control are made possible with IoT integration. By improving the extraction of energy from liquid or semi-solid waste, this technique reduces waste and promotes a circular energy economy. The system makes use of hardware components such as transformers and voltage regulators. The outcomes of experiments demonstrate its efficacy and possible role in renewable energy. This creative idea, which provides a sustainable route ahead for the production of power from food waste, highlights the importance of IoT in improving waste-to-energy systems. © 2024 IEEE.

This study introduces a novel method for Discrete Fourie Transform (DFT)-based interpolation for channel estimation through the application of multiple windows in the channel impulse response. Utilizing a genetic algorithm, we determine the optimal positions and lengths of these windows. Our simulation results demonstrate that this approach has lower channel's Mean Squared Error (MSE) than other high-performance estimation approaches. © 2024 IEEE.

With applications including medical image analysis, picture sharpening and restoration, robot vision, pattern recognition, and video processing, among many others, image enhancement is the main topic in image processing and computer vision. There have been many algorithms for improving images established in the past. More extensive work on image-enhancing techniques has been done utilizing deep learning models in recent years, as these algorithms have achieved their peak in vision applications. In this study, we present a thorough analysis of machine learning, deep learning, and literature. The literature on image enhancement is then summarised, and future approaches for iris analysis are discussed. © 2024 IEEE.

Water is vital for all life, serving as the foundation for plants and aquatic creatures and promoting abundance among all living beings. This study introduces an innovative approach by combining the Internet of Things (IoT) with advanced sensing techniques to assess water quality. The IoT-powered water quality testing raft has been developed to significantly enhance the monitoring capabilities. Equipped with sensors measuring key parameters such as turbidity, pH, and temperature, the raft provides a comprehensive understanding of water quality. Its GPS module enables real-time tracking and maintains location history, ensuring precise sampling. The collected data undergoes robust processing by a Raspberry Pi, ensuring integrity before being showcased on the Thingsboard. The system's uniqueness lies in its capacity to promptly issue alerts via LINE Notify upon detecting water quality abnormalities, ensuring timely intervention. This IoT-powered raft represents a paradigm shift in water quality assessment, characterised by its precision, remote capabilities, and user-focused approach. Practical applications have been demonstrated through real-world testing in a private lake in Cha-choengsao province, Thailand. The seamless integration of IoT into environmental monitoring marks a significant advancement in ensuring water quality and ecosystem health. © 2024 IEEE.

information security is currently a major problem for data communication. Cryptography has emerged as a treatment and is essential to information security systems. Techniques for encryption can effectively prevent attacks on images. Elliptic curve cryptography (ECC) is an approach of public-key encryption, depends on the algebraic grouping of elliptic curves over finite fields. The present study introduces an intriguing elliptic curve cryptography-based image encryption approach and applied it to various images. The proposed technique was tested. We computed the number of pixels change rate (NPCR), unified average changing intensity (UACI), and peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR) to assess the effectiveness of the suggested technique. © 2024 IEEE.

technology development has altered how people live. Intelligent vehicles are being developed as a result of technological advancements in the automobile industry. Pedestrians are the most vulnerable road users, accounting for more than half of all traffic fatalities. Thus, the key thing to take into account is pedestrian detection. In order to safeguard both drivers and pedestrians, an intelligent vehicle system can detect pedestrians in front of moving vehicles and either loudly warn the driver of the risk or automatically slow down the vehicle. The purpose of this study is to examine different sensor-based pedestrian detection techniques, weigh their benefits and drawbacks, and determine how they may be enhanced to make them more useful in real-world situations. Radar, vision sensors, and LiDAR are the mechanisms employed. This study analyses the datasets utilized in the research and identifies numerous state-of-the-art methodologies. © 2023 IEEE.

Colorectal polyps are benign lesions that develop in the colon and can progress to cancer if left untreated. Clinical observations from medical images are often preferred over computational results due to the lack of trust in the machine learning models, thereby posing serious challenge for the explainability of the results. In order to computationally diagnose colorectal polyps from cancerous images and explain the results, we propose a Layer-wise eXplainable ResUNet++ (LeXNet++) framework for segmentation of the cancerous images, followed by layer-wise explanation of the results. We utilize a publicly accessible dataset that contains of 612 raw images with a resolution of 256×256×3 and an additional 612 clinically annotated and labeled images with a resolution of 256×256×1, which includes the infected region. The LeXNet++ framework comprises of three components—encoder, decoder and the bridge. The encoder and the decoder components each comprise of four layers. Each of the four layers in the encoder and the decoder comprises of 14 and 11 internal sub-layers, respectively. Among the sub-layers of the encoder and the decoder, there are three 3×3 convolutional layers with an additional 3×3 convolution-transpose layer in the decoder. The output of each of the sub-layers has been explained through heatmap generation after each iteration which have been further explained. The encoder and the decoder are connected by the bridge which comprises of three sub-layers. The results obtained from these three sub-layers have also been explained to inculcate trust in the findings. In this study, we have used three models to segment the images, namely UNet, ResUNet, and proposed LeXNet++. LeXNet++ exhibited the best result among the three models in terms of performance;hence, only LeXNet++ was explained layer-wise. It all begun by the early 1970s through, the work of Stephen Wiesner and Gilles Brassard, who introduced the concept of quantum conjugate coding, and it has now stretched to a level where today's agile communication systems constitute a substantial challenge for data security and safety. A number of research has been performed to achieve secure communication among legitimate parties in which QKD (Quantum Key Distribution) is prominent. Quantum Key Distribution (QKD), also called Quantum Cryptography, enables two communicating parties to share secret cryptographic keys with security that is theoretically guaranteed by the laws of quantum mechanics, assuming ideal conditions. However, practical implementations may be vulnerable to certain attacks, and the security of QKD can be compromised by imperfections in hardware, side-channel attacks, or limitations in real-world setups. In a practical QKD setup, two stations send and receive encoded quantum particles and some classical information. The most rudimentary and well-known QKD protocol is BB84, developed by Bennet and Brassard in 1984. We have developed the simulation and achieved the secret shared key with and without an intruder. © 2024 IEEE.

Large Language Models (LLMs) are at the forefront of technological evolution, significantly enhancing digital interactions and automating complex processes across various sectors. While these models facilitate advancements in data analytics, content generation, and strategic decision-making, their opaque nature poses challenges regarding user trust and model comprehension. Addressing the critical need for transparency, this paper focuses on enhancing LLM explainability. We propose a framework to demystify the internal mechanisms of these models, facilitating a deeper understanding that aligns with stringent ethical standards. Our approach integrates advanced explanatory tools that elucidate model decisions and foster accountability and fairness in Artificial Intelligence applications. This study presents a high-resolution Diabetic Retinopathy dataset collected from Eye Care Hospital in Aizawl, Mizoram, highlighting its importance for advancing DR detection in underrepresented populations. The dataset includes 495 retinal images captured using an OCT RS 330 device, with quality maintained through a preprocessing pipeline. Images were filtered for clarity using blur metrics and enhanced with adaptive histogram equalization to emphasize diagnostically relevant features. A baseline deep learning pipeline for multiclass DR classification achieved training, validation, and test accuracies of 50%, 49%, and 56%, respectively, reflecting the dataset's complexity. Advanced augmentations like MixUp and CutMix were applied, setting a benchmark for future research. This work underscores the dataset's unique contributions by providing a foundation for robust diagnostic models. This study supports inclusive and practical AI applications in ophthalmology. © 2025 IEEE.
