The paper examines a new approach to controlling deterministic dynamical chaotic mode of power system with two electric generate-sources. A control law is synthesized in the class of one-parameter structurally stable mappings from catastrophe theory. Analytical calculations and a numerical experiment in MatLab showed that the proposed system excludes the generation of a deterministic chaotic mode for any changes in the uncertain system parameters. The study of the control system is carried out by the gradient-velocity method Lyapunov vector functions

This study investigates the optimization of healthcare accessibility and effectiveness by integrating artificial intelligence (AI) solutions within Internet of Things (IoT) systems for remote patient monitoring. Embracing a holistic approach, we deploy medical sensors, including temperature, pressure, heart rate, and oxygen sensors, to collect patients' continuous health metrics (vital signs). These sensed data are then transmitted to an Arduino controller, responsible for managing data communication with the cloud infrastructure using a Wi-Fi module that facilitates data storage and analysis. Stored data are accessed by authorized healthcare professionals, who exploit machine learning models, including Artificial Neural Networks (ANN), Logistic Regression (LR) and Decision Tree (DT), to forecast patients' health outcome in advance using the sensed data. A rigorous evaluation demonstrated the IoT system's effectiveness, based on testing with sensed data from ten patients over a month, where 70% of the data were used for training the models, and the rest for testing. The proposed IoT system demonstrates the success; ANN exhibited the highest accuracy at 97.88%, followed by LR at 93.43%, and DT at 91.20%. Precision, recall, and F1 scores further validated the models' ability to predict health outcome accurately. Evaluation of the accuracy and loss curves showed the convergence of the models towards optimal performance. This study contributes to remote healthcare monitoring and provides a promising IoT paradigm for realizing ubiquitous remote monitoring, optimized healthcare effectiveness, and patient outcome through AI-enabled IoT systems.

Blockchain technology has emerged as a transformative including data security, interoperability, patient data ownership, and operational inefficiencies. This paper evaluates blockchain's impact on electronic health records (EHR) security, supply chain transparency, clinical research cooperation, and patient data control. Through comprehensive literature analysis, we highlight the benefits, limitations, and potential improvements for blockchain adoption in healthcare. Furthermore, a combined methodology of blockchain with artificial intelligence (AI) is presented, offering novel solutions to enhance healthcare data management and analytics. These findings lay a foundation for future research aimed at overcoming blockchain's current scalability and regulatory challenges to promote wider healthcare adoption.

This paper proposes a distributed secondary voltage control (DSVC) scheme of DG based islanded AC microgrids employing cooperative control design. The controller design has been further strengthened by introducing a bilayered adaptive control formulation. The centralized control scheme for inverter-based DGs in an islanded microgrid poses significant challenges in terms of voltage control, connectivity issues among all DGs and handling contaminated signals of the DG units under influence of unwanted signals i.e. noise and disturbances. The objective here is to design an optimal control input employing linear quadratic regulator (LQR) principle in cooperative and adaptive control formulation. An exhaustive comparative analysis driven by an exhaustive Matlab simulation has been done in order to demonstrate the effect of Algebraic Riccati Equation (ARE) parameters in the proposed cooperative and adaptive control algorithm to specify the variations in time domain specifications of the microgrid voltage response. Simulation analysis has been done to check the effectiveness of the adaptive controller over the cooperative design of the microgrid controller where DGs are subjected to variable frequency disturbance (VFD). © 2021 IEEE.

In order to optimize the productivity of crops and ensure food security the crop diseases should be identified as soon as possible. In this study, we study the image based crop disease identification using Deep Learning Methods. However, the traditional illnesses detection techniques are typically based on specialist knowledge and human inspection, and the latter also has the disadvantages of being very time consuming and error prone. Use of convolutional neural networks (CNNs), in particular, have made deep learning powerful for many imaging problems such as precise and automated identification of disease. The ultimate goal of this research is to build a CNN based model which, through the analysis of photos of a damaged leaf, can identify and categorize various crop diseases. With this large data set with excellent images of both healthy and sick crops, we take advantage of. The model is trained and tested based on F1 scores, accuracy, precision and recall. The findings indicate that the model proposed in this research outperforms generic machine learning techniques in diagnosing diseases such as rust, mildew, and blight at high accuracy. The real time implementation of the system is also scalable enough to monitor big areas in the smart farming set up. I show in this study that deep learning has the potential to significantly enhance agricultural disease management and to pave the way to new and more effective and sustainable ways to grow crops. © 2025 IEEE.

This paper presents a novel computer vision-based approach for assessing leg length discrepancy (LLD) in individuals with prosthetic limbs. The proposed solution uses image processing techniques to detect markers placed on the patient's knee, prosthesis, and a reference wall, allowing for precise measurement of limb alignment. Through a comparative analysis of the initial reference position, set by a specialist, and the current limb positioning, the algorithm identifies discrepancies in leg length. The system employs a non-invasive methodology, utilizing an IP camera to capture images and communicate them via Wi-Fi to a computing unit for further analysis. Experimental validation, conducted on simulated LLDs ranging from 1mm to 10mm, demonstrates the system's high sensitivity and accuracy in detecting subtle changes in limb alignment. This approach offers a scalable, automated alternative to traditional manual methods, improving both the reliability and ease of prosthetic adjustments.

This paper proposes a distributed secondary frequency control (DSFC) of distributed generation (DG) based islanded AC microgrid employing cooperative control scheme. The controller potential has been extended to form adaptive control framework considering coupling gain dynamics. The distributed control framework provides multiple advantages over centralized control schemes for DG based islanded microgrids in terms of reference frequency tracking, frequency control and multiple disturbances rejection. The linear quadratic regulator (LQR) algorithm calculates the control gain for both cooperative and adaptive control schemes. A detailed analysis for islanded AC microgrid operating in healthy condition and the same subjected to multiple disturbances has been presented for both the proposed control designs. An exhaustive Matlab simulation has been done to validate the effectiveness of the above mentioned schemes. © 2021 IEEE.

Understanding nature and projecting its future behavior has always been deemed to be a major breakthrough for survival and moving our civilization forward. In the age of Machine learning, data mining, data analysis, this particular process has received a dramatic improvement. This paper converged our focus into several significant machine learning algorithms to analyse their contributions to predicting weather patterns. Having access to a 20-year data of a single station has given us a centralized view to compare and determine which algorithm is better suited for weather forecasting. We have worked on AdaBoosting, XGboosting, Stacking KNN, Stacking Neural Network etc. to validate their performances and differentiate their scores on Confusion matrix measurements. We have found some astonishing achievements by these algorithms, mainly Stacking Neural Network, and distinguished their performances. © 2021 IEEE.

A recently proposed fully passive quantum key distribution (QKD) removes all source modulator side channels. In this work, we combine fully passive sources with measurement-device-independent (MDI) QKD to simultaneously remove side channels from source modulators and detectors. We show a numerical simulation of passive MDI QKD, and we obtain an acceptable key rate while achieving much better implementation security, as well as ease of implementation, compared with a recently proposed fully passive twin-field QKD, paving the way towards more secure and practical QKD systems. We prove that a fully passive protocol is compatible with MDI QKD and we propose a novel idea that can improve the sifting efficiency.
