If adversaries were to obtain quantum computers in the future, their massive computing power would likely break existing security schemes. Since security is a continuous process, more substantial security schemes must be developed. Current PQC schemes primarily focus on data security or key exchange, and further improvement towards enhanced PQC primitives is required. Our proposal in this research is an innovative paradigm for PQC-focused cloud data security. The proposed HEDT approach achieves encryption and decryption with significantly lower latency (20% improvement) and higher reliability than AES, DES, and RSA, as demonstrated through experimental results. Furthermore, ECSIDH, a hybrid key exchange mechanism combining SIDH and ECDH, improves security strength by 50% while maintaining computational costs within 1.13x of SIDH. Compared to individual key exchange schemes like SIDH, ECSIDH offers superior security as a PQC candidate. These results confirm the robustness and efficiency of the proposed framework in ensuring secure data outsourcing and key exchange in cloud environments. © 2025 Slovene Society Informatika. The new coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, which triggered the COVID-19 pandemic, has had an unparalleled effect on economies, cultures, and world health. In response to the critical need for strict COVID-19 screening systems in public areas, this study presents a creative Secured Entry Control system. Detecting and controlling possible COVID-19 carriers attempting to enter the country is made possible by this system, which makes use of deep learning algorithms and IoT technology. The mask detection algorithm, MobileNetV2 model, has an exceptional validation accuracy of 98.96\%. The model's reliability is supported by performance evaluations using ROC curves, confusion matrix analysis, and an AUC value of 98.96\%, which is close to the optimal AUC score of 100\%. Because MobileNetV2 is well-suited for low-processing devices, it is easy to deploy it on Raspberry Pi, which helps to create an affordable system. Furthermore, by spotting increased body temperatures, a contactless temperature sensor improves the system's ability to identify possible COVID-19 carriers. The functioning of the system is confirmed by the working prototype that is presented in the Experimental Results section. The main goal of this research is to create an autonomous system that is affordable and selectively allows access to people who are less likely to transmit COVID-19 in public areas. To achieve the overall objective of reducing the spread of COVID-19 in public spaces, this research highlights the successful integration of mask identification algorithms and IoT. © 2024 IEEE.

Assessing landslide susceptibility is vital in mitigating natural disasters, particularly in zones with active tectonics. This paper will discuss a novel approach based on a CNN architecture in a U -Net designed to assess landslide susceptibility in these zones of active tectonism. The model thus takes advantage of spatial data sources from remote sensing and GIS and multi-coupled geospatial factors such as slope, elevation, rainfall, and tectonic activity in a multivariate framework for predicting landslide-prone areas. The U-Net CNN architecture is used as it captures the local and global spatial patterns and results in very precise susceptibility maps. The selected historical data about landslides was then fed into the trained and validated model to predict potential landslide occurrence zones, indicating high accuracy in susceptibility mapping. The CNN-based U-Net approach suggests a higher order of precision and spatial resolution than the conventional machine learning approach. This work portrays the capabilities of deep learning approaches in developing landslide risk assessment with much-improved precision. It thus offers an essential tool for disaster risk management along with urban planning for tectonically active regions. © 2024 IEEE.

In today's rapidly developing world, mental health is very important because it directly impacts the human thought process, productivity, relationships, etc. Being one of the most important aspects of a human's life, it is often neglected. Poor mental health can lead to anxiety, hopelessness, struggling to manage emotions, a lack of concentration, and loneliness. A mentally ill person can also have suicidal thoughts. In today's world, almost every person uses social media to share their lives and thoughts. With social media serving as a ubiquitous platform for self-expression and interaction, leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and natural language processing (NLP) techniques becomes feasible for detecting mental health statuses based on users' social media posts. In this research paper, we proposed a methodology using NLP Transformers to study human behaviour as well as symptoms of depression. We analysed the status of mental health by examining the text of posts posted by different people on Twitter and Reddit. In our proposed methodology, we applied 4 different NLP Transformers (BERT, XLNet, RoBERTa, and DistilBERT) Transformers on two different datasets. Our proposed model concluded that DistilBert was the most accurate Transformer among the four with accuracy with 91% accuracy on twitter dataset and 84% accuracy on reddit dataset. Our proposed methodology will be effective in detecting mental illness in a person. © 2024 IEEE.

Gait, the pattern of walking, has been extensively studied and various methods have been developed to use it as a biometric for individual recognition. Despite this, the potential to identify individuals through running videos has not been thoroughly explored. The paper introduces a novel method that expands the feature-based approach for identifying individuals based on their running style. This work focuses on extracting the mutual information and location specific metric from the key gait poses of subjects in the testing and training datasets. Later on, the assignment of a testing sample to the training sample is accomplished using the proposed classification method. The experiments are conducted on KTH, OU-ISIR A, and Weizmann database. The efficiency of this method is demonstrated by the obtained experimental results. © 2024 IEEE.

Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment are now integrated in automated systems that enhance code stability, and accelerate the deployment process as well as improving monitoring of the whole system in the software development field. This document deals with setting up of a strong CI/CD process involving AWS cloud services and DevOps. The infrastructure is built with the help of Terraform which ensures the scalability and repeatability applying the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approach. A safe Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) is designed consisting of public and private subnets, load balancing for traffic distribution, and CloudFront CDN to improve geographical distribution. Jenkins is used in CI process to perform disk analysis, OWASP and Trivy vulnerability scanning, and making Docker images. The CD phase use ArgoCD for updates on Kubernetes and integrates Monitoring and observability using Prometheus and Grafana. Notifications are produced to JIRA and email communication for improvement. With the help of the offered cloud services and DevOps tool it is possible to consolidate the SDLC and bring effects in code safety, testing and utilization. This document also provides an overview of methods, instruments, and outcomes, demonstrating how the CI/CD automation influences the development and operation positively. © 2025 IEEE.

Internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles are very polluting and release high nitrogen oxides, carcinogens, and soot into the environment. ICE vehicles are the best choice in this era, but replacing ICE vehicles with electric vehicles (EVs) and automated vehicle control is a potential transition process. The most important turning point in the history of the automobile occurred with the entry of EVs into the vehicle market. The rise of the Internet of Things (IoT) paradigm in electric vehicles (EVs) has changed the way we look at large-scale transportation by making it intelligent and more sustainable. Recently, with the advent of connectivity through IoT platforms, IoT in EVs has improved performance and reduced environmental impact: from any on-off switch and adoption of IoT through our smartphones placed on the charging base. We can implement smart charging solutions for better energy consumption management, reduction of grid load, and battery life enhancement. IoT allows electric vehicles to communicate directly with charging stations and even the power grid, providing a better way to create balanced transportation networks. But implementing IoT in electric vehicles also raises some issues, including data security and user privacy. With all of these issues, there is huge potential in IoT usage with electric vehicles to help produce cleaner transportation and create a more sustainable future. © 2024 IEEE.

As sports grow in popularity need for effective online turf booking applications has also increased. Although some existing applications are faced with numerous challenges such as;restrictions on access, ineffectiveness in scheduling, and over-bookings, leading to frustrations and operational problems. This paper focuses on those problems by the presentation of an online turf booking application to streamline the booking process. The solution offers real-time updates, automatic payment, and safe transactions based on QR code. The more user-friendly the application is, the more efficient it will be. Firebase would be used for real-time data synchronization and the responsiveness of React interface ensures the smooth and conflict-free bookings. This solution would lead to increasing customer satisfaction as well as increasing the booking rates and effective utilization of sports facilities. © 2025 IEEE.

This paper presents an integrated framework for the comprehensive analysis of diseases affecting pomegranate fruit. The suggested system, which makes use of deep learning techniques, includes semantic segmentation for diseased region localization, multiclass illness classification, and image processing-based severity assessment. Initially, four common diseases - Alternaria, Anthracnose, Bacterial Blight, and Cer-cospora - are successfully identified through the use of a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) for multiclass classification. Then, annotated photos are used as training data for Semantic Segmentation, which uses the UNet architecture to identify the unhealthy spots within the fruit. The area and percentage of the segmented region are determined, and thresholds for high, medium, and low severity levels are then defined. The segmentation results are then used as inputs for severity estimate. Early identification and intervention tactics are made easier by the severity level prediction, which is based on the proportion of the segmented region. In order to improve pomegranate fruit management methods, the suggested framework provides a thorough method of disease analysis by combining categorization, semantic segmentation, and severity prediction. © 2024 IEEE.

Web scraping, an automated process that extracts data from websites, is a powerful tool that faces several challenges. Existing scrapers often entail drawbacks, such as subscription fees and limited accessibility for small businesses. Concerns regarding the reliability and accuracy of data arise, especially with respect to real-time content. This study scrutinizes web scraping tools, delving into operational principles, advantages, and limitations, addressing applications in data mining, research, and social media marketing. Two scraping approaches, manual extraction, and automated methods, such as HTML parsing, were explored. Popular tools such as ParseHub, WebHarvy, and Octoparse have been discussed, but concerns about accessibility and accuracy persist. Libraries such as BeautifulSoup, Selenium, and Scrapy offer alternatives to those with programming skills. Although web scraping accelerates data collection, its limitations and potential drawbacks must be carefully considered.
