Some malware prevention systems utilize whitelist-based access control schemes because they are more cost-efficient than traditional blacklist-based schemes and can countermeasure unknown attacks. However, whitelist-based access control schemes are vulnerable to DLL injection attacks that impersonate privileged applications. Monitoring suspicious thread creation has been proposed to solve this problem. However, this paper demonstrates that whitelist-based access control schemes are still weak to DLL injection attacks. Additionally, the process of bypassing such monitoring mechanisms is described. © 2024 IEEE.

The proposed system on enhancing human activity recognition in yoga presents an innovative solution using advanced technologies to accurately and quickly analyze data of yoga poses. Through meticulous data collection and preprocessing, including noise removal, normalization, and handling missing data, the system ensures a clean and standardized dataset. Pose estimation algorithms contribute to accurately mapping the body's posture, extracting essential features like joint angles and body orientation. The features form the basis for a powerful machine learning model, trained on a labelled dataset and employing neural networks, enabling the system to recognize yoga poses with remarkable precision. The study embraces an iterative enhancement process, continuously refining the model based on feedback and performance metrics, ensuring ongoing improvements in accuracy. SmartGuard serves as a strong defense system against data breaches and financial risks from hackers by utilizing a range of machine learning algorithms, including Support Vector Machine (SVM). The proposed system involves a website that accepts URLs as input from users and employs various models to predict the legitimacy of the provided URL, distinguishing between legitimate and malicious websites. Additionally, users can input messages containing links for further analysis. Nowadays, many phishing links are received by people on WhatsApp and Emails. These links pretend to be genuine but in reality, are malicious. Clicking on this link can cause data or monetary loss to an individual. The proposed system also incorporates a client-side extension, and leverages many parameters to evaluate the authenticity of a website, protecting users from visiting potentially malicious sites. The integration of AI technologies and the user friendly interface make SmartGuard a robust tool against Phishing and other cyberattacks. © 2024 IEEE.

Intelligent Reflecting Surfaces (IRS) is attracting attention for wireless communications at high-frequency band. IRS can control radio propagation by reflecting radio waves and shifting their phase. As one of the methods to control IRS, location-based methods have been proposed. However, to achieve highly accurate IRS control by the methods, the assumed propagation model must match the actual propagation environment. This study proposes a method to control the IRS from location information adapted to the propagation environment by using machine learning. Numerical experiments confirm that the proposed method can appropriately control IRS regardless of the propagation environment. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper investigates the impact of early reviews on product sales by analyzing the traits of initial reviewers on major e-commerce platforms. It segments product life-cycles into three phases: early, majority, and laggards, focusing on early reviewers who post reviews during the initial stages. The paper introduces an innovative interface for sentiment analysis to identify and predict early reviewers. Quantitative analysis reveals that early reviewers often provide more insightful comments and give higher overall ratings. Their ratings and helpfulness scores significantly affect product popularity. The methodology, tested on extensive datasets from Amazon and Yelp, extracts crucial attributes of early reviewers, including purchasing patterns and social impact. The interface employs a hybrid machine learning approach combining Naive Bayes, margin-based embedding ranking models (MERM), and support vector machines (SVMs) to predict potential early reviewers accurately. This approach balances probabilistic reasoning with robust classification, ensuring comprehensive forecasting. Evaluation metrics such as precision and accuracy demonstrate the effectiveness of the models over baseline methods. Furthermore, the study enhances the understanding of how early reviews influence consumer behavior and product success in e-commerce. The interface aids in refining product marketing strategies by enabling precise targeting of early reviewers, accelerating product adoption, amplifying sales, and optimizing marketing tactics in the competitive e-commerce landscape. © 2024 IEEE.

Sentiment detection and analysis from review comments of products, blogs and other social media communication is a common practice. Lot of research work have been proposed and established in the domain. While the above may prove to be effective for sales and marketing challenges but the same effort for the sentiment analysis of news articles is scarce. But surprisingly, this can definitely establish as a potentially efficient instrument for medical domain judging the suitability of a news article for individuals with disturbed health condition like depression, heart diseases or mental retardation having risk of committing suicides. To address the same, this article presents a novel approach harnessing the potential of Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) to detect the sentiment of a news article so as to measure its impact on the individual readers. The proposed work uses various supervised ML algorithms such as SVM, Naïve Bayes', Logistic Regression, Random Forest and Ensemble Method for assessing the inherent sentiment of news articles. Additionally, DL based Transformer model specifically BERT has also been employed to enhance the performance. Obtained results with various performance metrics clearly depict our model's excellent performance. © 2024 IEEE.

According to present scenario, now a days it is often observed during shopping groceries, vegetables, fruits and other needs in malls, markets, bazaars etc. There is a huge rush, billing of the cart products will be delayed due to more number of customers standing in queues at every bill counter especially on holidays and weekends. This leads to loss of valuable time of customers, To overcome these kind of situations, a simple solution is introduced that is "Smart Shopping Cart" using Convolution Neural Network (CNN). This smart cart is connected to cameras that are connected to webpage through hot spot which acts as a sensor, which sense the image of the products and process that image, the model processes the image only if the product is trained, tested and stored in the database. After processing the product image it identifies the product and add the product to the bill. To add the product to the bill we have used a high level pre-trained API known as Tensor flow which acts as a communication link between the sensor and webpage. If the product is removed from the cart then the product will be removed from the bill list. By implementing this model we can save the time of both seller and consumer and avoid misuse of billings. © Grenze Scientific Society, 2023.

The proposed work aims at 5G base station antenna communication applications. The Reconfigurable Antenna is built with an idea of parasitic loaded elements in antenna. The proposed design has a zig-zag S-shape structure with a driven Monopole antenna located along the central axis and a parasitic structure enfolding around the monopole. Reconfiguration is accomplished by adjusting the PIN diodes bias voltages. The 2.44-9.46 GHz frequency range i.e., the Ultra-Wide-Band frequency spectrum is used at which this reconfigurable antenna is designed to operate. This paper has three radiation pattern which are obtained by two PIN diodes. Beam-steering capability in the elevation plane is achieved i.e., θ (0°-180°). The outcome shows the design's potential and its wide range concurrent applications for base station antennas. © 2024 IEEE.
