The large amount of data generated by hospitals is helping machine learning algorithms to generate accurate solutions. This data includes information about treatment, diagnosis, and medications. This valuable information can be used to create automated solutions. The Indian government is planning to introduce a technology like the United Payment Interface (UPI) in the healthcare sector. This technology is called the United Health Interface (UHI). The UHI aims to consolidate various healthcare services, such as the storage of patients' health records, management of blood banks, provision of hospitals' information, doctors' details, bed availability, medical insurance services, and more. Our goal is to develop a similar system where all these services can be accessed through a single account. The UHI is an advanced technology that has revolutionized the healthcare industry. It offers numerous benefits to both patients and healthcare providers. One of the most significant advantages of UHI is the seamless sharing of patient information across different healthcare providers and institutions. This means that doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals can easily access patient data, regardless of their location, and make informed decisions regarding treatment. The online doctor appointment system has also revolutionized healthcare. It offers several advantages for patients and healthcare providers alike. These advantages include convenience, time savings, improved access to healthcare, reduced costs, and enhanced patient management. Therefore, our aim is to develop a web application that consolidates all healthcare services under one platform, significantly improving our lives. Finding the top candidates for a position is the aim of the resume screening process. The application must make use of machine learning methodologies as well as natural language processing to rate candidates in real time. Natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning methods are used to rate resumes. The output would be the resume of a top candidate, with resumes and job descriptions serving as the input. The output's results are obtained instantly. String matching, Cosine Similarity, and TF-IDF will all be done with Mon. The adoption of charging vehicles in Rajshahi has emerged as a significant step towards reducing air pollution and promoting a healthy, green city. However, the current centralized licensing system poses challenges such as time-consuming processes and the potential for fraudulent activities. To address these issues, this paper proposes the implementation of a secure and decentralized smart licensing system for charging vehicles in Rajshahi City Corporation, leveraging the smart capabilities of blockchain technology. By utilizing Hyperledger Fabric, the implementation generates blockchain based smart contracts that automate and streamline the licensing process smartly and efficiently. This approach ensures the immutability, transparency, and integrity of license records, minimizing the risk of fraud and enhancing overall efficiency. Additionally, the system incorporates the use of QR codes and an inquiry system to enhance the credibility of paper-based licenses. Compared to other digital licenses, this blockchain-based method significantly reduces risks and contributes to the development of a greener and more sustainable Rajshahi city environment. Furthermore, the introduction of a sustainable business policy, utilizing the G2C model, facilitates revenue generation and distribution fairly and equitably for all stakeholders involved in the charging vehicle ecosystem. This implementation not only offers cost benefits and efficiency improvements for drivers but also promotes a sustainable and environmentally friendly city. © 2023 IEEE.

An optimal group-wise non-rigid image registration technique based clinical decision support for dementia prediction

The fundamental challenge in clinical practice is predicting whether patients with cognitive symptoms or impairment will improve or stay stable. Population ageing is a worldwide phenomena with various impacts. Among dementia, Alzheimer disease (AD) is common in the elderly which is the most common form of dementia and may contribute to 60–70% of cases. An early and precise AD diagnosis enhances patient quality of life. In this study, we propose an optimal group-wise non-rigid image registration technique for dementia (AD) prediction. We introduce an improved cuckoo search optimization (ICSO) algorithm to search optimal group-wise dense correspondence in large image sets in non-rigid image registration which reduce dimensionality of the search space. Then, we illustrate a teacher-student learning based optimization algorithm which cooperates with PLS regression to extract deformation which separates the relationship information suitable for each other from the raw relationship information. After that, we compute the distribution of morphologies of age by fitting smooth percentile curves to these scores using hybrid capsule neural network with least Median Square (hybrid CNN-LMS) curve fitting model. Finally, the simulation results of proposed hybrid CNN-LMS technique are compared to the existing methods to analyze the measures. We observed that the accuracy of our proposed hybrid CNN-LMS technique is 96.23% and 95.82% for RSS and ANDI datasets respectively. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2025.

Deterministic Finite Wheeler Automata are a natural generalisation to regular languages of the theory of compressed data structures originated by the introduction of the Burrows-Wheeler transform. Indeed, if we can find a Wheeler automaton recognizing a given language L, such automaton can be used to design time and space efficient algorithms for representing and searching L. In this paper we introduce an alternative representation of Deterministic Wheeler Automata by showing that a natural map between strings and rational numbers in Qr0, 1q can be extended to represent the automaton’s states as intervals in Qr0, 1q. Using this representation it emerges a natural relationship between automata properties and some properties of real numbers. In addition, such representation enables us to formulate problems related to automata in a numerical setting. Although at the moment the numerical approach does not lead to time efficient algorithms, we believe this new perspective deserves further consideration. As a further demonstration of the convenience of this new representation, we use it to provide a simple proof of an unexpected result on regular languages. More precisely, we compare the size of the smallest Wheeler automaton recognizing a given language L with respect to the size of the smallest automaton, possibly non-Wheeler, recognizing the same language. This research explores the transformative potential of wearable devices designed to automatically detect & predict epileptic seizures, offering continuous monitoring & early detection capabilities. The study focuses on developing a machine learning model tailored for seizure detection in such devices, leveraging multimodal sensors such as Electrodermal Activity (EDA) & Accelerometer (ACC). By measuring skin resistance and identifying irregular heartbeats, which are signs of upcoming seizures, these sensors allow for precise seizure detection. Soil moisture plays a critical role in environmental monitoring and sustainable agricultural practices due to its significant impact on crop growth, water availability, and overall ecosystem health. Properly understanding and managing soil moisture is vital for efficient water usage, especially in agriculture. Traditional methods in measuring soil moisture have been confined to ground-based small-scale methods, which are high price due to high labor intensity and limited spatial coverage. This project addresses its limitation in the spatial view by integrating remote sensing data from the Sentinel-1 satellite. Sentinel-1 is particularly effective in monitoring the soil moisture as it captures data in all climate conditions. By combining the satellite data with Google Earth Engine (GEE) we create a soil moisture dataset. For analyzing the joint satellite and ground truth data, the machine learning technique using Random Forest (RF) is applied and classification of crop yield is done. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper, a method to generate speech from a muted video is proposed. Recent advances in computer vision and deep learning have allowed the development of lip-reading technology that can recognize and interpret lip movements in videos. However, one of the main challenges in visual-to-speech synthesis is distinguishing between homophenes, or sets of words that look identical on a person's lips but contain different sounds. To address this challenge, the proposed model utilizes a speech generation framework that uses an external memory called Visual Audio Recall (VA-Recall) to generate speech from silent video. The VA-Recall system allows the system to effectively synthesize speech from a speaker by recalling the most relevant auditory information that matches the visual input context. The proposed method further generates subtitles for the reconstructed audio. Overall, this process allows for a more natural and contextually appropriate speech synthesis system. © 2023 IEEE.

Cataract is a common eye condition that causes clouding of the eye's natural lens, resulting in blurry vision and it is very common in older ages people. However, it can also occur in younger aged people due to various genetical effects, diabetes, smoking, and prolonged exposure to sunlight. Cataracts can be treated through surgery to remove the clouded lens and replaced by an artificial one, which can significantly improve the vision. This problem can be reduced through early detection, regular eye examinations etc. In this research, a Contrast Limited Histogram Equalization (CLAHE) of retinal fundus images is applied for a better presentation of the above cataract effects. These improved images are fed to a machine learning-based model for effective detection. Finally, the ensembling of the proposed machine learning-based classifiers is performed for the accurate detection of cataracts. The proposed model was tested experimentally on a real dataset and achieves excellent performance with accuracy, precision, and recall scores of 99.67%, 100%, and 99.25%, respectively which outperform the baseline methods. The robustness of the proposed ensemble model is evaluated through 5-fold cross-validation and achieved an average accuracy of 99.6%. This study uses deep neural network (DNN) methodologies, including auto encoder, deep belief network (DBN), and backpropagation neural network (BPNN), to predict stock prices over 15 and 30 days. Utilizing BSE Sensex and NSE Sensex datasets with diverse technical indicators, the research highlights DNN's superior training accuracy, measured by minimal mean squared error (MSE). The study's key contribution is applying DNN to predict stock market volatility. While acknowledging the limitation of relying solely on training error, the study incorporates additional measures like RMSE, MAPE, MAE, and ARV during testing. Notably, DNN's MAPE results fall within a narrow range (0.0221 to 0.0255), indicating minimal error deviation. In a comprehensive evaluation across all datasets, DNN consistently outperforms DBN and BPNN in both training and testing performance. © 2024 IEEE.
