In recent years, AI has made many advances in multiple fronts. One such recent advance is the development of Large Language Models(LLMs), a deep learning model trained with a large set of data on billions of parameters. Many Generative Pretrained Transformer (GPT) models have been developed on these LLMs. ChatGPT has become the most popular GPT used by many people. Recently, a blackhat GPT named WormGPT has been launched for cybercriminals. WormGPT is capable of launching many types of attacks resulting in irreparable damage. Hence, Users are required to be familiar with these tools, if they are to protect themselves. This article is possibly the very first attempt to initiate a discussion on this topic within the formal research circles. This article starts with an introduction to LLMs and GPTs and then presents the details of WormGPT, its capabilities and the damage it can cause. Finally, a set of safeguards has been presented that can help to protect users from possible attacks. © 2023 IEEE.

In today's world, healthcare system is improving day by day by using smart IoT based system. Blockchain based system is totally a decentralized system due to which attackers are unable to access the confidential records easily. Blockchain play an important role in controlling and management of sensitive information in healthcare system and insurance sector. Consensus mechanisms used in blockchain technology to validate whichever block is going to be added next in the blockchain network. In this paper we proposed a hybrid based system which solves trust issues arises in the blockchain. Hybrid consensus mechanism provides reputation according to the activities of blocks in a blockchain network. Four layer architecture is designed in Hybrid model. Five algorithms are used to create, validate, fork handling, reward and punishment scheme and Markle tree is constructed respectively. This model is implemented on Ethereum based platform which shows that HCM model is better than a PoXR model as it consume less memory (50 percent) and consume less CPU(below 2 percent). © 2023 IEEE.

Ensuring the security of confidential information is a daunting task for any concerned authority. Proving the authenticity and integrity of exam question papers is a prime responsibility of examination authorities. Storing and sharing question papers on open networks makes them vulnerable to unauthorized access and alterations. The proposed approach redefines question paper management using the Interplanetary File System (IPFS) and blockchain technology, providing a secure, decentralized, and tamper-resistant platform. This solution addresses long-standing challenges and ensures security, accessibility, and data integrity, establishing new standards for examination management. A user-friendly text editor in the framework allows paper setters to create, modify, and format questions effortlessly while preserving content integrity. The integration of this editor streamlines question paper preparation and enhances both efficiency and security. By leveraging a decentralized framework, the proposed solution ensures that the critical tasks of any concerned authority are handled securely and efficiently, overcoming limitations of conventional methods. © 2024 IEEE.

Training specialists in non-destructive testing is a very important task. To teach magnetic and eddy current methods, real objects with different properties are required. They are very expensive. To solve this problem, a device has been developed that allows you to take the necessary readings, process and obtain data on the magnetic properties of the sample. The technical implementation of a device for collecting data and sending the received parameters to a computer is presented. An automated system for accounting for all errors will allow you to quickly generate a report on the object, taking into account the applied currents and linear dimensions, and form an object passport, which greatly simplifies the process of creating various samples for eddy current and magnetic control methods. © 2024 IEEE.

The exponential increase in video traffic on the Internet has generated a heightened demand for efficient video streaming solutions. HTTP Adaptive Streaming (HAS) has emerged as a viable strategy, facilitating dynamic quality adaptation in response to fluctuating network conditions. In HAS, media content is segmented into short time intervals, with each segment encoded in multiple bitrate-resolution combinations known as representations. This framework enables users to choose the most appropriate representation according to their current network connectivity. To enhance the selection of bit rates and elevate the Quality of Experience (QoE), it is crucial to conduct a precise assessment of network conditions. This research investigated the impact of chunk time on video streaming performance in TCP-based networks. Analyzing the effects of chunk time on both QoE and throughput, our findings indicate that similar to the adaptive nature of video representations that depend on network conditions, chunk time must also be adaptive. It is essential that the chunk time is tailored to the specific network environment, necessitating an adaptive chunk-time strategy for each resolution to ensure optimal streaming performance. © 2025 IEEE.

Barrett's esophagus is considered a precancerous condition that may lead to esophageal cancer. The condition is usually diagnosed through an endoscopy with biopsy. This careful imaging examination is quite labor-intensive and usually lacks of diagnostic consistency. In this paper, a computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) method was proposed to assist pathologist in Barrett's esophagus diagnosis from endoscopic images. The proposed semantic segmentation was built based on the U-Net architecture, which features capturing detailed spatial information and context to produce accurate pixel-wise predictions. An autoencoder, which is quite capable of learning a compact and meaningful representation of the input data, is incorporated to achieve self-supervised learning. A two-stage pretraining for the encoder and the decoder is adopted for better performance and reduced data requirements. The proposed method can extract features and patterns from unlabeled data without requiring human annotation or labels, which is very suitable in many biomedical image analyses. The experimental results show that the segmentation accuracy with mean pixel accuracy, mean dice coefficient, and mIoU reaches 98.20%, 87.96%, and 83.18% respectively, indicating that the proposed method has a good performance on the identification of Barrett's esophagus in endoscopic images. © 2024 Owner/Author.

This article presents a simple, high-gain, E-shaped antenna suitable for 5G applications in the unlicensed 60 GHz band, characterized by high absorption and path losses. In order to optimize the reflection coefficient performance, enhance the gain, and adjust the resonance frequency of the proposed antenna, two identical slits are incorporated into the front edge of the radiating patch. The proposed structure is built on a Rogers RT/Duroid 5880 dielectric substrate, characterized by a thickness of 0.118 mm, a dielectric constant of 2.2, and a tangent loss of 0.0009. Recognition of Bengali sign language characters is crucial for facilitating communication for the deaf and hard-of-hearing population in Bengali-speaking regions, which encompass approximately 430 million people worldwide. Despite the significant number of individuals requiring this support, research on Bengali sign language character recognition remains underdeveloped. This article presents a novel approach to categorize Bengali sign language characters using the Ishara-Lipi dataset, based on convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and pretrained models. We evaluated our approach using metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, and confusion matrices. Our findings indicate that the CNN model achieved the highest performance with an accuracy of 98%, followed by VGG19 with 94% and ResNet variants achieving around 88%. The proposed model demonstrates robust and efficient classification capabilities, significantly bridging the gap in existing literature. This study holds substantial promise for enhancing assistive technology, thereby improving social inclusion and quality of life for Bengalispeaking deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals. © 2024 IEEE.

Brain-computer Interfaces (BCIs) have revolutionized human-machine interaction by establishing a direct communication pathway between the brain and an external machine. These systems rely on neural signals, acquired invasively through implanted electrodes or non-invasively using scalp sensors. Signal processing algorithms extract meaningful information from these signals, such as motor intentions or cognitive states. BCIs have applications in various domains, including healthcare, neurorehabilitation, gaming, virtual reality, and augmented reality. However, BCI development faces challenges such as improving signal acquisition and decoding techniques, enhancing reliability and robustness, and ensuring user safety and privacy. The translation of BCI technology from the lab to real-world applications requires addressing ethical, legal, and societal considerations. Standardized evaluation metrics and protocols are needed to compare and validate different BCI approaches effectively. In conclusion, BCIs have the potential to revolutionize human-machine interaction across various domains, but challenges remain in technology refinement, user acceptance, and ethical considerations. Future research directions include enhancing spatial and temporal resolution of neural signals, exploring novel electrode materials, and investigating long-term implantation methods. © 2024 IEEE.

Schools and Institutions maintain student's records and certificates for future needs like verification and credit transfer. These procedures are carried out manually to ensure that documents and the data are valid and non-tampered, which usually needs more energy and time. Converting these procedures into digital form minimizes the time and energy consumption but with the cost of high-security risks. Storing student's data on a centralized system has problems like data breaches due to human error, injection attacks, and buffer overflow attacks, and even if the server gets damaged physically, it'll take more time to repair and recover the damaged data and start running. But in blockchain technology, the data stored in blocks with a cryptographical code of the previous block, gives enhanced security compared to the traditional database. If anyone tries to tamper or hack the data, the decentralized technology can easily recognize the modification and prevent it from happening. Three layers of blockchain are being employed to give the Academic Record System the highest level of security possible. Data Storage Blockchain is the third layer of the model which stores the student's records. The Access Control Model Blockchain is the second layer, which includes additional layer security to the Data Storage Blockchain as it records all the activities around it. And the final layer is the Authentication Blockchain, which is based on Ethereum Blockchain. This model validates transaction using Smart Contracts given to them, creating a new user and validating the login process securely for the Authority, Institution, and the Student for accessing the Data Storage. © 2023 IEEE.
