In view of the overcrowding of hospital wards and low medical efficiency, this paper designs an intelligent medicine delivery car based on Arduino microcontroller. The system is composed of single chip microcomputer module, sensor module, motor drive module, data acquisition module and power module. Through the combination of software and hardware, as well as the design and improvement of the car, the car can advance and turn through sensor recognition trajectory, the camera recognizes the number to obtain the location of the ward, and the motor drives and provides the power of the car, so that the car can complete the function of intelligent medicine delivery. By simulating the ward environment, the car starts testing and records data for many times. Trough the test, the system meets the needs of the intelligent drug delivery car to send drugs from the pharmacy to the ward.

While vehicle-to-everything technology has been proposed to improve road traffic efficiency and safety, it would suffer from the low coverage during an early stage of vehicle-to-everything deployment. The infrastructure-based solutions have been developed to tackle the problem by gathering traffic status on a roadside unit and broadcasting the detected information to nearby connected vehicles. In this work, we aim to augment such an infrastructure-centric design by proposing a multiple applications software framework to broadcast the sensed traffic conditions to connected vehicles in the vicinity. In addition, we propose a software module to improve the handling of multiple applications for the roadside unit. We have evaluated the proposed software in indoor tests, which shows that the framework can significantly improve traffic safety while conforming to the performance specifications of the standards defined by the Society of Automotive Engineers. © 2022 ACM.

The worldwide health crisis is caused by the widespread of the Covid-19 virus. The virus is transmitted through droplet infection and it causes the common cold, coughing, sneezing, and also respiratory distress in the infected person and sometimes becomes fatal causing death. As the world battles against covid-19, the proposed approach can help to contain the clustering of covid hotspot areas for the treatment of over a million affected patients. Drones/ Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) offer a great deal of support in this pandemic. As suggested in this research, they can also be used to get to remote places more quickly and efficiently than with conventional means. In the hospital's control room, there would be a person in command of the ambulance drone. For hotspot area detection, the drone would be equipped with FLIR camera and for detection and recognition of face the video transmission is used by raspberry pi camera. The detection of face is done by Haar cascade Classifier and recognition of the face with LBPH algorithm. This is used for identify the each individual's medical history or can be verified by Aadhar Card. Face recognition between still and video photos was compared, and the average accuracy of still and video images was 99.8 percent and 99.57 percent, respectively. To find the hotspot area is to use the CNN Crowd counting algorithm. If the threshold value is less than equal to 0.5 than it is hotspot area , if it is greater than 0.5 and less than equal to 0.75 than it is semi-normal area , if it is greater than 0.75 and less than equal to 1 than it is normal area. © 2022 IEEE.

This research introduces the application of an innovative bio-inspired metaheuristic technique, termed the Crow Search Algorithm (CSA), to model a crucial industrial process - hot rolling manufacturing. Inspired by the foraging patterns of crows, the CSA algorithm has demonstrated its prowess in solving diverse optimization challenges. In the context of this study, the CSA algorithm is harnessed to fine-tune the parameters of a simulation model focused on predicting the force exerted during a hot rolling procedure. The proposed model takes into consideration a range of influential factors, including the initial temperature (Ti), width (Ws), carbon equivalent (Ce), gauge (hi), draft (i), and roll diameter (R). The findings underscore the CSA's capability to deliver an exceptional modeling performance characterized by swift convergence and high solution quality. By getting along very well with the proposed model with the CSA algorithm, a robust and efficient avenue to optimize the hot rolling process emerges, with the potential for expansion into other manufacturing domains. The computational and simulation results demonstrated that the proposed approach-based CSA outperformed different meta-heuristic search algorithms, such as the Salp Swarm Algorithm (SSA), Dandelion Optimizer (DO), Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), Gray Wolf Optimizer (GWO), and Moth-Flame Optimization (MFO), in all test cases. The CSA has achieved the highest coefficient of determination (R2), equal to 0.97244, and the lowest mean squared error (MSE), equal to 1904.97, compared to its opponent algorithms. © 2024 IEEE.

Diabetes is marked by high blood glucose levels and adversely affects various body systems, notably cardiovascular, renal, and visual. Early diagnosis via automated screening is vital for operative treatment. Advances in machine learning (ML), particularly have enhanced diabetes diagnosis but one of the major issues when working with medical datasets is class imbalance. Oversampling is crucial in the medical field to address class imbalance, ensuring that models can effectively learn patterns from minority classes, such as rare diseases or conditions. While feature selection and hyperparameter tuning optimize model performance, oversampling directly improves the model's ability to detect and predict critical, but less frequent, medical events, reducing bias toward the majority class. This paper introduces an oversampling based approach for using ensemble learning (EL) with decision tree as meta-estimators to address data imbalance. To balance the classes and enhance the accuracy of classification performance KMeans SMOTE Boost, SMOTE Bagging, Over Boost, and Over Bagging classifier strategies are been used on training data. This study identifies the most effective combinations of oversampling techniques and classifiers, and finds that using oversampling methods consistently leads to better classification results. These results highlight the effectiveness of oversampling with EL system in diabetes classification on Type 2 Diabetes dataset.

The sixth-generation (6G) wireless communication networks are envisioned to deliver improved Quality of Services (QoS) such as data-rate, latency, localization, etc., compared to 5G services. This demand will mainly arise due to the massive Internet of Things (IoT) connections among billions of embedded devices. It is worth noting that these IoT devices are constrained in nature in terms of memory, computation and most importantly power. Low-power wireless computing necessitates a link-layer technology that considers the aforementioned IoT device requirements such as low-power, low data-rate, long-range and energy efficient reliable communications. Long Range Radio (LoRa) technology has recently become widely popular to facilitate low-power, long-range communication, while other similar technologies struggle to achieve long-range transmissions. The LoRA standard defines several PHY and MAC sub-layer specifications for Low-Power Wide Area Networks (LPWAN) that can be used to build several IoT applications. With 6G communications, an IoT application is expected to consist of hundreds of devices connected at a time, and this will need a proper scheduling mechanism among these devices for optimal performance. The LoRa standard does not define any scheduling mechanism and leaves it to the research community to explore. In this paper, we propose a distributed scheduling mechanism under the supervision of a common LoRa gateway. The proposed mechanism focuses on a Lightweight DynamicScheduling (LIDS) scheme to minimize loss in data transmissions through collisions. The proposed mechanism optimizes the power consumption to achieve the desired level of QoS requirements such as throughput and latency. © 2022 IEEE.

With the development of society, the construction of underground pipelines has become more and more extensive and reliable, which has brought a lot of convenience to people's lives. However, with the development of the city, the discharge of industrial wastewater has gradually increased, and the problem of pipeline leakage has become more and more prominent. Therefore, this paper designs a ZigBee-based sewage discharge pipeline leakage monitoring system, which consists of seven parts: STM32 MCU, sound sensor module, abnormal gas sensor module, water drop collection module, ZigBee communication module, Wi-Fi module and display module. Among them, the sound acquisition module, abnormal gas acquisition module and water drop acquisition module respectively collect the data of sound, abnormal gas and water drop in vulnerable locations. After the data collected by each module is processed by STM32, the data is displayed through the display screen, and the processed data is also sent to the Internet of Things platform through the Wi-Fi module. When the collected abnormal gas or water drop data exceeds the set threshold, the background of the mobile phone APP will receive an alarm.

In recent years, the application of radiofrequency identification technology in smart access control systems has become a trend. Users only need to take out the RFID electronic key and approach the sensor of the gate to open the gate through signal induction. The major goal of a secure coding is to enable the authentic receiver could successfully recover the original message from the source. However. the satellite communications provide an open wireless environment. It hardly protects the transmitted information from the eavesdroppers. Usually, the secure system employs the encryption, authorization and authentication schemes to avoid from the attacks. However, the undesired attacks have been continuously developed. In order to reduce the computing resource exhausted in the encryptions. Physical layer security coding based on Shannon's perfect secrecy, error-free cryptogram, might be applied to the satellite communications. Moreover, the coding scheme could reach the required critical security capacity. Also, it could approach the low error probability. However, the information rate and the coding rate will suffer the system performance. To tradeoff the security level, information rate and coding rate could be the important issue in the satellite communications. © 2024 IEEE.
