Gauging Deep Learning Archetypal Effectiveness in Haematological Reclamation

This paper project an system for reclamation of medical images in an effective way for the extraction and retrieving of data from large archives is critical. This study aims to improve haematological image reclamation by combining visual-based image reclamation (VBIR) approaches with the GLCM algorithm, specifically for characteristics related to the prostate gland. While previous research has focused on computer-aided methods for Gleason grading, our technique focuses on early-stage feature reclamation across 14 paired glands. The experimental findings, including Bicubic Interpolation The resolution Enrichment with a standard deviation of 12.37, kurtosis of 122.83, and skewness of 2.92, demonstrate improved reclamation performance. Our suggested methodology uses a handmade learning approach that includes critical components such as GLCM contrast and correlation. This extensive feature extraction step includes descriptors for morphology, texture, fractals, and contextual information, which are then subjected to in-dept. statistical analysis to identify significant features. Using an RNN, our technique improves performance somewhat but significantly when compared to alternatives, with time required for execution offering insights into the intricate interaction of stages and the effect of sample variability. These findings not only encourage more research, but also help to advance standard reviews in haematological analysis of images. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

Addiction to alcohol and tobacco is still a major worldwide health issue that requires innovative approaches to early detection and monitoring. This review of the literature provides a thorough summary of recent research projects in the area of tracking systems for alcohol and tobacco use that are both intrusive and non-intrusive for correct classification. The main goal of this research is to investigate how different IOT-based models might improve the precision and effectiveness of alcohol and smoking detection. The measurement of several IoT models used in tracking systems for alcohol and smoking makes up a sizeable section of this work. The study assesses the benefits and drawbacks of each model. Additionally, how effectively it can identify individuals who smoke or drink and how well it can work with various datasets. This research intends to direct future research efforts and encourage the development of more precise and effective tracking systems for smoking and alcohol use, ultimately resulting in improved public health outcomes. © 2024 IEEE.

Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is a genetic disorder that significantly impacts the respiratory and digestive systems, requiring early detection and precise management to improve patient outcomes. This research study presents a machine learning model designed to predict the presence, severity, and potential treatments for Cystic Fibrosis using genetic data. By leveraging collaborative filtering techniques, our model not only identifies individuals at risk but also enables personalized treatment plans based on genetic predispositions. The proposed model aims to revolutionize Cystic Fibrosis diagnosis and management by automating the screening process on a mass scale. This automation facilitates the identification of demographic areas and genetic populations with a higher susceptibility to Cystic Fibrosis, enabling targeted interventions. Through large-scale genetic data analysis, our approach ensures that at-risk populations receive timely and appropriate care, ultimately improving the quality of life for Cystic Fibrosis patients. The findings suggest that the implementation of this predictive model in clinical settings can lead to earlier and accurate diagnoses, personalized treatment plans, and significant advancements in Cystic Fibrosis care. The implications of this research extend beyond Cystic Fibrosis, offering a framework for applying machine learning in the diagnosis and treatment of other genetic disorders. © 2024 IEEE.

In this research, we studied the U-Net segmentation model for identifying and demonstrating addresses related to cardiac left ventricle contour in cine-MRI images. Efficacy of the model is evaluated across different stages such as preprocessing, training, validation and robustness testing along with comparisons to conventional methods and other deep learning architectures. But the preprocessing includes standardized pixel intensities, and by data augmentation using rotation, flip method or scaling techniques. The training and validation stages clearly show the robust consolidation of our model with little overfitting, guaranteeing decent performance on different datasets. The developed model is robust by passing the test against noise/ artifacts, and providing a very good segmentation in extreme situations so that there are no accuracy outliers represented. Comparative analyses show better sensitivity-specificity trade-offs and precision-recall characteristics versus other methods. In general, a U-Net model developed here works well for cardiac MRI analysis and can be used as an effective tool to help automatic LV segmentation accurate and efficient in clinical applications which will improve diagnosis of heart diseases from imaging points. © 2024 IEEE.

Hyperspectral image (HSI) super-resolution has seen significant advancements with the emergence of diffusion models, demonstrating impressive results in prior works. However, existing approaches often take up cascaded architectures for feature extraction, often suffering from high computational costs, gradient instability, and training difficulties. This paper introduces a novel Efficient Spectral Attention Block (ESAB) that addresses these challenges by leveraging atrous convolutional blocks and channel attention within a multiscale feature extraction strategy. ESAB enables effective spectral feature extraction while maintaining computational efficiency, leading to improved performance. Furthermore, a unique loss function is proposed to enhance spectral fidelity by comparing the spectral slopes of the ground truth and predicted image pixels. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed approach achieves great performance in super-resolving HSIs, achieving high spectral fidelity with reduced model complexity. © 2024 IEEE.

Poverty in India is a complex issue with multiple causes. This paper mainly focuses on three of the main causes for poverty: Education, Unemployment and Consumer Price Index. This study makes use of data received from the National Informatics Center (NIC) of India to predict poverty across the various states of India. Through applying preprocessing techniques and employing the HPCC Systems Visualization bundle, the research shows that Bihar is facing a higher level of poverty, whereas Mizoram exhibits converse trend. Subsequently, the HPCC ML-Core bundle is applied to conduct linear regression analysis for predicting poverty scores. This predictive model demonstrated an accuracy of 97%. Lastly, the difference between a single-node and 8-node cluster is presented for runtime performance which clearly shows that the 8-node cluster has an advantage for similar computational tasks and thus makes it suitable. © 2024 IEEE.

Cirrhosis is one of the major causes of death around the world. Hence, the possibility of survival prediction among patients affected by this disease constitutes the principal factor in properly planning treatment and management procedures. This work aims to design a predictive model of the probability of survival of patients who have cirrhosis based on patient data, including clinical parameters, medical history, and laboratory findings of these patients. The data-driven machine learning algorithm improves the predictive accuracy and significantly enhances the clinical decision-making process. This considers multiple predictors: the patient's liver function tests, the demographic factors, and the indicators of disease progression in the body. It will be validated for reliability and accuracy using real-world patient case data. Therefore, this tool could aid clinicians in devising treatment plans that improve patient outcomes and efficiently utilise healthcare resources. This study also contributes to the emerging genre of AI-assisted care because chronic liver disease management, specifically cirrhosis, in this case, requires constituting predictive analytics. © 2024 IEEE.

Text summarization is the process of shortening a large body of text in a document to form a shorter while preserving its most important information. With the exponential growth of digital data, there is a need for automated text summarization to help users quickly comprehend the content. The use of machine learning techniques, particularly deep learning models, has shown great promise in generating high-quality summaries. Among these models, BERT (Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers) has emerged as a state-of-the-art method for various natural language processing (NLP) tasks, including text summarization. In this paper, we propose to implement a text summarization system using the BERT model. Apart from the normal text summarization, we will be implementing a Language Simplification model that simplifies complex sentence structures or use simpler vocabulary while preserving the original meaning. This model transforms convoluted or verbose sentences into shorter and more straight-forward constructions The paper aims to develop an end-to- end summarization system that takes a long document as input and generates a summary of the most important information contained in the document. For example, like taking the entire news from an online portal and generates it summary. © 2024 IEEE.
