Long distance learning is in vogue these days. This requires a setup where an attendee can participate in lectures delivered from a university while sitting at some remote location. Generally this requires very high bandwidth network and a high end system on the attendee's end. Interuniversity collaboration also creates a demand for a teleconferencing system. To make these applications possible on medium and low end systems and low bandwidth networks, a video teleconferencing system was developed. This paper describes its structure.

One of the industries that are most crucial to humanity is agriculture. Agriculture mechanization is the major issue facing all countries today. As the world's population is expanding at an incredibly fast rate, there is an increasing demand for food. To fulfill the expanding demand, farmers will need to apply chemical pesticides more often than they already do. The soil is harmed by this. The land continues to be unproductive and barren as a result of this having a substantial influence on agricultural activities. Several mechanization strategies, including deep learning, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, are covered in this article. It is crucial to use new technologies at various stages of the agro-based supply chain due to several long-term challenges for the agricultural industry and various factors, such as population growth, global warming, technological advancement, and the condition of environmental assets (water, etc.). Examples include automated farm equipment processes, the use of sensing devices and satellite data for distant locations, artificial intelligence, and machine learning for forecasting weather patterns. Crop diseases, inadequate storage management, chemical usage, weed control, insufficient irrigation, and poor water management are just a few problems the agricultural sector is facing. Using the range of strategies covered, each of these problems might be handled. It has been demonstrated that automating farming procedures increases soil productivity and improves soil fertility. To get a quick overview of how automation is currently being used in agriculture, this paper examines the work of numerous researchers. In the current study, we highlight the key uses of AI and Ml techniques in farming and highlight the undeniably rising trend in the implementation of these techniques to advance the agriculture sector. © 2022 IEEE.

Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) has become the technology of choice for the current and future generation of wireless systems. We have implemented the CDMA IS-95 based Wireless Transceiver System using Matlab Simulink v 7.0. The entire system is implemented using the Xilinx System Generator Block v6.3. Even though the CDMA IS-95 system is already implemented in Simulink and is provided as a demo, there is no way of converting it into real Hardware. Using Xilinx System Generator we have made our implementation capable of being translated into any of the HDL codes. This can be then mapped onto appropriate FPGA easily. We have used the hardware co-simulation feature of the Xilinx System generator to create a library of the basic building blocks of the IS-95 system. This library can be used for implementing to create the various channels that are the part of the CDMA system. ©2005 IEEE.

This paper illustrates the procedure that takes advantage of the properties of discrete wavelet frames so as to improve the learning efficiency of static model representations. The focus is on using orthonormal basis functions due to its convergence properties and compactly supported in frequency domain. The network trained with stochastic gradient type algorithm is presented. Results obtained for modeling two simulated processes are compared with reported bench mark results and demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. © 2009 IEEE.

In this paper we present a novel wavelet based forecast model integrating wavelet filters for denoising and Improved Instance based learning approach. The proposed model implements a novel technique that extends the nearest neighbor algorithm to include the concept of pattern matching so as to identify similar instances thus implementing a nonparametric regression approach. A hybrid distance measure combining correlation and euclidean distance to select similar instances has been proposed. To illustrate the performance and effectiveness of the proposed model simulations using Mackey-Glass benchmark series and a real time Nord pool time series used in day-ahead forecast of electricity prices have been carried out. We apply a comprehensive set of non redundant orthogonal wavelet transforms for individual wavelet subband to denoise the signal. The analysis of simulations demonstrate that the proposed wavelet based - IIBL model results in accurate predictions and encouraging results for both the series. Copyright 2010 ACM.

This paper presents the analysis of results on the generalisation of dyadic based wavelet neural network which are trained with uniform distribution from input space. The focus is to mainly quantify the significance of learning rate and the resolution so as to ensure an acceptable generalization accuracy for function learning simulations. The proposed network is based on orthonormal basis functions and trained with stochastic gradient algrothim. The simulations of developed dyadic wavelet based architecture and its learning algorithm justifies the effectiveness of the scaling function characteristics. Experimental results reveal that training and tuning the various simulation parameters of the network and its properties has greater influence on the generalization and convergence ability of the Dyadic Wavelet Neural Network (DWNN). © 2010 IEEE.

Vehicle accident is the paramount thread for the people's life which causes a serious wound or even dead. The automotive companies have made lots of progress in alleviating this thread, but still the probability of detrimental effect due to an accident is not reduced. Infringement of spFieed is one of the elementary reasons for a vehicle accident. Therewithal, external pressure and change of tilt angle with road surface blameworthy for this mishap. As soon as the emergency service could divulge about an accident, the more the effect would be mitigated. For this purpose, we developed an Android based application that detects an accidental situation and sends emergency alert message to the nearest police station and health care center. This application is integrated with an external pressure sensor to extract the outward force of the vehicle body. It measures speed and change of tilt angle with GPS and accelerometer sensors respectively on Android phone. By checking conditions, this application also capable of reducing the rate of false alarm. © 2015 IEEE.

Plagiarism is a significant consideration in all areas of research, and is generally considered to be an act of wrongdoing or a violation of official documents or patents. However, in the context of research, it may be appropriate for a researcher to draw on previously published data. It is important to consider whether the researcher's intentions were fair and whether they were aware of any potential plagiarism. Research papers may employ a range of linguistic modifications, such as paraphrasing, summarizing, checking for semantic similarity, and borrowing concepts, but all such modifications must be properly cited. This paper explores how to determine the similarity between paragraphs in potentially suspicious manuscripts and any paragraphs in reference/source manuscripts in scientific research papers. Additionally, this paper provides guidelines and rules for appropriately paraphrasing to avoid plagiarism. © 2024 IEEE.

Rapid advancements in text classification algorithms have kept pace with the exponential rise of digital materials in recent years. In order to automatically extract expressive features, new machine learning algorithms have been suggested that take advantage of recent developments in deep learning techniques. Rapid progress in this area has spawned a multitude of ways for translating human speech into machine-readable data. Ad hoc pre-processing processes are utilized in conjunction with state-of-the-art language modelling algorithms;nevertheless, their presentation is generally glossed over in favor of a more thorough explanation of the classification stage. This work aims at building a model that is used to analyze sentiments, where accuracy is tested by taking data sets of positive and negative movie reviews. Proposed work is divided into 3 tasks: Data Extraction, Preprocessing and Modelling. We have used text classification techniques of Machine Learning by making changes in text vectorization using BOW (Bag Of Words), N-grams and TFIDF and modelling is built using Naïve Bayes and Random Forest algorithms. Our findings demonstrate that the suggested model provides superior performance in terms of accuracy, precision, recall, and f-measure. Using cutting-edge methods, proposed model achieved competitive results on the IMDB movie review dataset. © 2023 IEEE.
