This study provides an innovative architectural model for e-Health systems that aims to improve cyber resilience while maintaining high availability under fluctuating traffic loads. We examined typical cybersecurity incidents in the field of e-Health, their correlations with architectural defects, and frequent design patterns in currently operational systems. A testing approach based on our research finds those weaknesses and proposes viable fixes. In this paper, a comprehensive support strategy for transitioning from conventional monolithic architectures to microservices is presented. This change makes use of cloud computing's vertical and horizontal scalability to maximize resource utilization while ensuring system reliability. We also discuss deployment ideas for the new microservices, focusing on operational resilience and cybersecurity in e-Health environments. © 2025, Politechnica university of Bucharest. A critical first step in many applications, including augmented reality, document analysis, and scene comprehension, is text detection from images. Even though text identification for the English language has advanced significantly, there are particular difficulties when applying these methods to languages such as Bengali because of variations in script, morphology, and typographic characteristics. This article offers a wonderful method for leveraging the Faster R-CNN framework to identify and categorize text from images that contain Bengali and English sentences. The study utilizes a dataset named "Bengali and English text image dataset (BETID)"that consists of images with text in both Bengali and English scripts, taken from a variety of sources such as books, documents, natural scenes, internet images, and landscapes. Pre-processing methods are used to improve the resilience and generalization of the model, including image scaling, normalization, and augmentation. The Faster R-CNN architecture is tuned and trained to identify text regions in images and categorize Bengali or English text. The performance of the text Classification model is evaluated using evaluation measures such as accuracy on the BETID dataset. The proposed Faster R-CNN model achieved an average of 97.90% accuracy, which is better than other deep learning models. Empirical findings showcase the capacity of transfer learning to alleviate data scarcity concerns and enhance text detection precision for low-resource languages such as Bengali.) © 2024 IEEE.

As industries continue to digitize at a rapid pace, the number of integrations, the connections between different digital systems, is increasing. As a consequence, integration management is becoming increasingly difficult, leading to scalability, stability, and system outage problems that directly affect company performance. For that reason the modern integration management platforms have emerged to offer efficient management of the growing number of integrations, as well as a new way to handle, enrich, and utilize data both inside and outside *** research involved interviews with 20 software vendor professionals and 20 clients who had recently undergone an integration platform project. The study identified key drivers behind integration management projects and recognized different maturity levels in integration management. The results revealed that more mature companies are utilizing modern integration platforms to support their digital transformation. Data has been quickly becoming as the fuel, the new oil, of growth and prosperity of companies in the modern age. With useful data and sufficient tools, companies have the ability to enhance their current products, presents new innovations and services as well as generate new revenue streams with a secondary customer base. While there are ongoing efforts to develop machine learning and data science techniques, little attention has been paid to understanding and characterizing data-related business activities in software-intensive *** multiple-case study examines four large international embedded system companies to explore how they are utilizing data and how they have proceeded in their journey in the data business. This study identifies six distinct stages, each with unique challenges, that seems to be common for embedded system companies in their data business. As the result, this study presents an initial data business maturity model for software-intensive embedded system companies. Additionally, this research provides a foundation for future efforts to support software-intensive embedded system companies in establishing data businesses. © 2023 IEEE.

The manual grading of exam scripts is a labor-intensive process, often plagued by subjectivity and inconsistency. This study presents an innovative approach to automating the evaluation of exam scripts using the Large Language Model (LLM) integrated with Zero-Shot Learning (ZSL) and Generative AI. Our system leverages the capabilities of GPT-4 to generate and evaluate answers, applying similarity measures to ensure accuracy and fairness in grading. The model's adaptability through ZSL allows it to assess new questions without additional training. The system also incorporates iterative refinement techniques to enhance the quality of standard answers over time. Performance evaluations demonstrate a low error rate, with an average relative error of 1.29% for annotated questions and 1.67% for non-annotated questions compared to human graders. The performance underscores the automated system's transformative potential in revolutionizing educational assessments, offering a consistent, fair, and highly efficient alternative to traditional grading methods. © 2024 IEEE.

This study proposes a convolution-free transformer-based method for generating accurate descriptions of images. A Vision Transformer is utilized as the primary encoder, replacing traditional CNN, and a Meshed Memory Transformer is integrated for generating captions. The Vision Transformer splits images into fixed-size patches for extracting visual features, which are further processed by a memory-augmented encoder to integrate prior knowledge. It ensures key features are preserved and reused and the meshed decoder combines the text embedding with the outputs from each encoding layer to generate more contextually rich and accurate captions compared to conventional approaches. The model's performance is evaluated on the Flickr30K and the MSCOCO datasets, demonstrating that the Meshed Memory architecture in our approach improves both the image encoding and caption generation step. Our model outperforms the conventional 'CNN-LSTM' models and 'CNN-Transformer' methods, achieving a 1.02% improvement in METEOR and 1.31% in SPICE on the MSCOCO dataset. Additionally, on the Flickr30k dataset, our approach exhibits superior performance across most metrics, notably a 6.37% increase in the METEOR score. © 2024 IEEE.

The deadliest gynecological cancer affecting women is ovarian cancer, currently incurable with no effective medication treatments. The key focus of this research is to assess insights for early diagnosis using statistical analysis and machine learning techniques on data from clinical trials obtained from 349 patients. Several techniques, including Random Forest, Decision Tree, Gaussian NB, AdaBoost, and Logistic regression, were applied to find the most reliable factor for ovarian cancer prediction. A clinically evaluated raw dataset of benign samples and malignant ovarian tumor patient data set is used to develop early-stage ovarian cancer predictions, and the effectiveness of ML models was examined utilizing metrics including F1-score, Accuracy, Precision, and Recall. The proposed study shows better outcomes, with the Random Forest classifier exhibiting the highest accuracy for validation at 99% based on the test data of ovarian cancer predictions. Even though early-stage ovarian cancer detection is generally unavailable, cancer diagnosis may be greatly aided by machine learning. © 2024 IEEE.

The proliferation of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) in various applications has necessitated the exploration of network architectures that can ensure efficient, scalable, and reliable communication. This study presents a comparative performance evaluation of traditional networking paradigms and Software-Defined Networking (SDN)-based architectures within WSN. Utilizing the Floodlight SDN controller and Mininet-WiFi emulator, we conducted a series of experiments across three different network topologies, varying the number of hosts and access points. The performance metrics focused on are average latency, packet loss percentage, and throughput. The results demonstrate a considerable improvement in all measured parameters under the SDN-based environment compared to the traditional setup. Specifically, SDN environments consistently showcased lower latency, minimal packet loss, and higher throughput, with the most notable difference observed in smaller network configurations. The findings suggest that SDN, with its centralized control plane, can significantly enhance the performance of WSNs, particularly in scenarios demanding rapid scalability and dynamic traffic management. This study underscores the potential of SDN architectures in optimizing WSN operations and lays the groundwork for future research in this domain. © 2024, Politechnica university of Bucharest.
