Orthogonal time frequency space (OTFS) modulation is a promising technology for mitigating severe Doppler effects in high-mobility scenarios. However, existing OTFS channel estimation methods neglect the Doppler Squint Effect (DSE), which incurs serious performance loss. In this paper, we propose a channel estimation algorithm based on Newton's method to accurately estimate fractional delay and Doppler in OTFS systems with DSE. In particular, we obtain the maximum delay and Doppler grid spacing for codebook design to guarantee the convergence of the algorithm. Additionally, we derive the Cramér-Rao lower bound (CRLB) for testing channel parameter estimation performance of our proposed algorithm. Simulation results demonstrate that our proposed algorithm outperforms the orthogonal matching pursuit (OMP) algorithm in terms of normalized mean square error (NMSE), surpassing the Newtonized OMP algorithm with traditional dictionary matrix and approaching the CRLB performance. © 2025 IEEE.

When discussing statistics of everyday road accidents in India, a very large contributing factor is accidents in hilly areas due to hairpin bends. These blind turns are highly dangerous and may more often than not result in fatal accidents. The low visibility results in the driver being extremely vulnerable to head-on collisions. Coming up with a preventive measure to this perilous situation is the prime focus of this paper. The proposed system in this paper is to, warn drivers of other vehicles at hairpin curves to avoid accidents involving human lives. This system is designed to allow residents and tourists to drive safely by warning them of blind corners and u-turns and reducing the possibility of accidents. This paper intends to reduce the chances of head-on collisions by implementing an accident prevention system. A prevention system, although new, should be comprehensible for a new user, to solve this issue, an existing system has been integrated with the proposed idea. © 2023 IEEE.

In this paper, we propose a novel pseudonymous decentralized reputation system that aims to establish trust within decentralized networks. The system allows users to maintain pseudonymous identities while ensuring their reputation scores are transparent, trustworthy, and resistant to manipulation. We review existing reputation systems and discuss their limitations. Our proposed system incorporates cryptographic techniques, a consensus algorithm, and distributed data storage to ensure data integrity, privacy, and scalability, specifically designed for the Decentralized Finance (DeFi) ecosystem. We present an implementation of our system, focusing on its application in DeFi platforms, and evaluate its performance against various attack vectors. Finally, we discuss the implications of our system on decentralized financial applications, such as lending and borrowing protocols, and future research directions. Lastly, we explore the broader implications of our decentralized reputation system for the DeFi ecosystem, identifying potential applications in areas such as decentralized exchanges, insurance, and asset management. © 2023 IEEE.

Social media has revolutionized communication and content publishing. Anonymity and mobility afforded by social media is also an effective medium for dissemination of hate messages, which can lead to undesired outcomes in the society. Prevalence of hate speech is a global problem. This paper is intended to highlight the mechanisms to address the same in the Indian context. This work aims to provide a concise overview of the various machine learning, deep learning, and transformer methods to detect hate speech in social media text written in Indian languages, as detailed in recent research literature. Besides, a discussion some of the available monolingual and code-mixed datasets to train such classifiers and the commonly adopted strategies to address the data scarcity in Indian languages is also included. © 2023 IEEE.

In today's changing world incorporating Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, into maintenance strategies is seen as a crucial innovation to improve business operations. This study delves into the use of driven maintenance systems and their notable impact on enhancing business efficiency cutting costs and ensuring operational dependability. By making use of real time data from sensors and devices these systems can predict equipment failures in advance reducing downtime and prolonging the lifespan of vital assets. The study provides a look at how maintenance strategies have evolved over time the technology behind powered predictive maintenance and how it revolutionizes business processes. The insights gathered from case studies and analysis of current executions reveals how business have transformed and achieved enhancement in operations. The paper also reflects challenges with their related solutions and suggested strategies to solve them. The findings show that implementing IoT for maintenance is not a technology hop but a necessity for companies struggling to stay in today's competitive market. In addition to this it investigates developments and possible innovations in this area emphasizing the evolvement and rising significance of IoT, in the upkeep of business industry. This research has explored into the competences of this technology highlighting its capability to reduce prices, improve efficiency, lift equipment reliability and upkeep making decision depending on data. © 2024 IEEE.

Given an undirected connected weighted graph with non-negative edge weights and a subset of vertices called terminals, the goal of the Steiner tree problem is to find a tree that spans the terminals such that the weight of the tree is minimized. A dynamic graph is a graph where the edge set or the vertex set or both may change with time. In this paper, first, we give a lower bound on the worst case update time for maintaining a(2-\epsilon)-Approximate Steiner tree (\epsilon being a small fraction) based on MST heuristic in a general dynamic graph with edge insertions and deletions. Then we propose an incremental algorithm for the Steiner tree problem in general dynamic graphs with edge insertions. We consider a weighted undirected connected graph with positive real edge weights and each update inserts an edge with a specific weight in the graph. The goal is to maintain a Steiner tree of the terminals. The algorithm maintains a(2-\epsilon)-Approximate Steiner tree in O(n) update time where n is the number of vertices in the graph. © 2023 IEEE.

Due to diverse software vulnerabilities and hardware attacks, user credentials are vulnerable or could land in demilitarized zones. An attempt is made to explore and finally proposed a trust based malware detection based on optimal data classification. An improved glowworm swarm optimization (IGWSO) algorithm is proposed for clustering in the input dataset into different groups. After clustering, recurrent deep neural network based computation is used for deriving different trust levels for cloud information that classify the suspected intrusion. The proposed TMD system implemented in java with cloudsim tool evidently discovers the effectiveness of the algorithm over existing state of art systems on the parameters of high detection, precision, recall and F-measures. © 2023 IEEE.

Schools and Institutions maintain student's records and certificates for future needs like verification and credit transfer. These procedures are carried out manually to ensure that documents and the data are valid and non-tampered, which usually needs more energy and time. Converting these procedures into digital form minimizes the time and energy consumption but with the cost of high-security risks. Storing student's data on a centralized system has problems like data breaches due to human error, injection attacks, and buffer overflow attacks, and even if the server gets damaged physically, it'll take more time to repair and recover the damaged data and start running. But in blockchain technology, the data stored in blocks with a cryptographical code of the previous block, gives enhanced security compared to the traditional database. If anyone tries to tamper or hack the data, the decentralized technology can easily recognize the modification and prevent it from happening. Three layers of blockchain are being employed to give the Academic Record System the highest level of security possible. Data Storage Blockchain is the third layer of the model which stores the student's records. The Access Control Model Blockchain is the second layer, which includes additional layer security to the Data Storage Blockchain as it records all the activities around it. And the final layer is the Authentication Blockchain, which is based on Ethereum Blockchain. This model validates transaction using Smart Contracts given to them, creating a new user and validating the login process securely for the Authority, Institution, and the Student for accessing the Data Storage. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper deals with network slicing in 5G networks, where a slice is defined as a set of virtual network function (VNF) instances that collaborate to create an end-toend (E2E) virtual network. A set of slices is implemented on a physical substrate network maintained by an infrastructure provider. The virtual network embedding (VNE) problem deals with the deployment of a network slice's virtual network request on the substrate. Typically, the resources allocated per slice's request are not shared with other slices due to privacy, security and performance considerations. However, there are situations in which VNF instances might be aggregated across many slices to further increase the utilization ratio of the substrate infrastructure. Given these shareable VNF nodes, deploying the network slices is effectively the embedding of the numerous virtual network where these slices are linked by the shared VNFs. This paper uses a reinforcement learning (RL) approach for the embedding problem. The approach incorporates sharing based virtual network functions in an existing RL scheme designed for virtual node embedding without much additional computation. The proposed scheme is implemented using a policy based RL method;the performance study shows an increase in the reward ratio by up to 20% compared to the non-sharing case, along with an increase in the acceptance percentage of slices. © 2023 IEEE.

Environmental monitoring, healthcare, smart agriculture and industrial automation are just some areas where wireless sensor networks (WSNs) hold promise. In WSN, routing is one of the most critical functions as it determines how data is collected and sent from sensor nodes to sink nodes. However, planning to direct conferences for WSNs has been stifling due to limitations such as limited energy resources, unreliable correspondence, versatility, portability, and security concerns. Various design issues related to routing in WSN are discussed in dept. in this research article. We discuss the different routing conventions for WSNs, including their benefits and limitations. The article lays out the preliminary plan that emerges in WSN steering and provides knowledge into the rise and fall of research patterns and future titles. © 2023 IEEE.
