There is a rapid increase of multimodal data such as texts, images, etc. all over the internet and it is a strenuous task to obtain relevant and vital information from it. Hence, it became a challenging task to process this multimodal data for information retrieval. Thus, language generation model would be helpful for generating precise summary. In the present systems, language generation of textual data is majorly focused, but it’s been observed that images can also contribute to the language generation process. Hence, the proposed model is built on an integrated system to process texts and images of both English and Hindi language data and generates concise summary. Text rank algorithm and Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency algorithm is used for text generation for both Hindi and English Language. Additionally, a Neural Image Captioning Model is used to generate captions of images which are then correlated with the textual data for Language Generation. The approach of combining TF-IDF algorithm and Text rank algorithm with Image Captioning model aggregately was effective to generate precise summary while considering the information captured by the images. The text generation model built in this research is language independent and paved a way as a use case in generating text for smart composition of sentences, Question-Answering system on various websites, Search Engine Optimization, etc.

In computer system keyboard is the most prominent input medium of all time. But lately, human community is living in an era of global pandemic being afraid of suffering from Coronavirus (Covid-19) and hence each and every person avoids touching anything. This is because of the fear of contracting this contagious virus and their mutants. So, to mitigate this issue, we present a method "webcam based virtual keyboard interface" to interact with a computer system. The code of this method is written using pre- built modules like OpenCV, MediaPipe, PyVDA, Win32API, etc. and Python 3.9. This approach uses matching the index finger and middle finger on the specific key. After that the virtual desktop switching mechanism is done by PyVDA. The PyttSX3 library plays the sound whenever any key is pressed or when a desktop switch is initiated, corresponding to the key pressed or the desktop switched. In this approach no additional hardware device other than the webcam, that is already available in the system, is required. This approach is also useful for those persons who wants the access the system, even when their hands are dirty.

Abundant internet connectivity, improvements in bandwidth and access to communication channels have led to a culture of free-flowing information. That almost unconstrained dissemination of information helped people develop a habit of consuming news whenever desired. Nevertheless, individuals must be made aware of the nature of the information they consume. People need assistance to determine whether the news is authentic or fake. Consequently, the detection of fake news has grown in popularity. In recent times, significant progress has been made in identifying fake news in foreign languages. However, more work needs to be done in the Bangla. Initially, we used the BanFakeNews dataset, which has fifty thousand data. However, the dataset is skewed toward authentic news. The dataset's disparity between authentic and fake news makes the models' accuracy sometimes deceptive and unreliable. So, additional resources are still required for the Bangla language. In this work, we have introduced an Improved Bangla Fake News Dataset (IBFND). In this dataset, we have tackled the problem of an imbalanced dataset. We have used web scraping to increase the number of fake news. In addition, we have resorted to using Google Translate for the purpose of translating a few fake English news. Then we have implemented the linear SVC, multinomial NB, XGBoost, and BERT models on IBFND. When we ran all of our models on the BanFakeNews dataset, the highest F1-score came to 81%. Using the IBFND, we have achieved the maximum possible F1-score of 97% with the BERT deep neural network model.

The reliability and efficiency of squirrel cage induction motors (SCIMs) are most important in industrial applications, where failures can lead to significant downtime and economic losses. Among the common faults, stator winding faults are particularly detrimental, leading to degraded motor performance and potentially catastrophic failures if undetected at the incipient stage. Various approaches aiding machine learning algorithms are adapted for diagnosing machine faults. This paper realizes different machine learning algorithms to diagnose the winding faults of SCIM. A comprehensive dataset of motor current signatures is trained and validated with several machine-learning models using Python in the Anaconda platform. A detailed comparative analysis of the model's performance is conducted based on metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, F1 score, and computational efficiency. This research highlights the potential of integrating machine learning techniques into SCIM monitoring systems, offering a proactive approach to maintenance and reducing unscheduled downtimes. Future work will explore the deployment of these models in real-time monitoring systems and the expansion of the dataset to include various motor types and fault conditions.

Drug counterfeiting is a worldwide phenomenon which affects practically every industry involved with the healthcare sector in both developed and developing countries. This widespread smuggling and usage of counterfeit drugs has serious economic, health, and safety impacts on any country. In addition to this, the credibility of the healthcare system can be questioned and harmed if the counterfeit drugs find a way into the market and harm the public opinion about the pharmaceutical chain. An annual analysis done by the US Trade Representative office on rights protection in 2019 stated that up to 20% of the pharmaceutical supply sold in India were counterfeit and this has only increased since the pandemic. In an estimate done between 2020 to 2021, it was found that incidents of counterfeit and fake drugs had shot up to about 47 percent. Traditional methods of drug authentication have proven to be ineffective in detecting counterfeit drugs. Blockchain technology provides a promising solution to the problem of counterfeit drugs. The proposed system for detecting counterfeit drugs using blockchain technology consists of a blockchain network, a web application, and a database. The proposed system aims to provide an efficient and secure method of detecting counterfeit drugs using blockchain technology, which can enhance trust in the healthcare system and reduce the cost of drug authentication.

This paper presents the design and development of a low-cost and user-friendly Bengali braille embosser for the visually impaired population in Bangladesh. To produce braille text, the embosser employs a shifting mechanism and an Embosser head, both controlled by an Arduino microcontroller. A software has also been developed to allow users with basic printer knowledge to operate the embosser. Access to educational resources and reading materials is limited for people with disabilities in Bangladesh, and the availability of Bengali braille writing machines is scarce. The proposed solution aims to address these challenges and improve the learning and communication capabilities of visually impaired individuals.
