Deep learning using MRI images to classify brain tumours presents a significant challenge due to imbalanced training datasets, where one tumor type may have far more samples than others. The overrepresented class may perform worse in classifiers as a result of this imbalance. In order to tackle this issue, the paper examines how feature learning in CNNs is affected by weighted loss functions to manage data imbalance. The article propose deep feature fusion, where particular CNN model features that were trained using three distinct loss functions are fused and classified using softmax classifier. This approach lead to notable improvements in brain tumor classification compared to a CNN trained with standard cross-entropy loss. Notably, the proposed methods substantially reduce classification errors between uneven class samples. The proposed model achieved an impressive 94.5% classification accuracy, accompanied by an average Fl-score of 94.6%, average precision of 94.6 %, and average recall of 95%. These findings underscore the effectiveness of our methodology in improving brain tumor classification accuracy, offering a promising avenue for more reliable diagnosis and treatment planning in clinical settings, © 2024 IEEE.

Persian, also known as Farsi, was once a dominant language and cultural influence worldwide. Today, it is nearly extinct in the Indian subcontinent. However, for centuries, Farsi played a major role in high culture and administration across the subcontinent. Persian characters are complex, with various features such as ascenders, descenders, vertical lines, and curves. Automatic translation of Persian characters from inscriptions into English is currently unavailable. The process of deciphering and translating inscribed text in epigraphy can be time-consuming. This paper specifically focuses on identifying Persian epigraphs. First, the inscription image is cleaned up, and images containing Persian characters are obtained. Using preprocessing techniques, the images are then prepared for input to artificial neural networks. The artificial neural networks are trained to effectively recognize various patterns of Persian characters, as they can learn complex patterns and adapt to changes in images, resulting in high accuracy in Persian character recognition. Finally, the proposed method's performance is evaluated using accuracy, precision, and speed metrics. The results demonstrate that the method accurately and rapidly detects Persian characters in various images. This research has the potential to advance Persian character recognition and image processing, enabling broader applications such as converting image documents into text, character recognition in documents, and text translation with Persian image content. © 2024 IEEE.

For women breast cancer is a life-threatening problem, making the importance of early detection crucial. Expert pathologists assess cell shapes in breast histopathology images at various magnification levels for accurate diagnosis. Unfortunately, a shortage of pathologists in many countries heightens the risk of human error in disease identification and treatment. To address this challenge, this study proposed a CBAM-Enhanced Collaborative Network for classifying benign and malignant tumors in breast cancer histopathological images, offering a potential solution to enhance accuracy and efficiency in diagnosis. The model included a transfer learning branch using a pretrained DenseNet121 structure with integrated CBAM (Convolutional Block Attention Module). Simultaneously, a collaborative branch employed Inception-ResNet-v2 with CBAM for feature extraction from histopathological images. The feature fusion module then optimized information from both branches. The proposed method achieved impressive binary classification accuracies on the BreaKHis dataset: 98.31% overall, with 98.33%, 98.08%, 99.67%, and 97.80% for magnification factors of 40x, 100x, 200x, and 400x, respectively. CBAM-Enhanced Collaborative Network also exhibits strong generalization capabilities, as evidenced by its superior performance on the ICIAR2018 BACH Challenge dataset. © 2024 IEEE.

Customer churn, defined as customer defection is a big problem for businesses in today's competition. This paper takes an in-dept. look at the application of machine learning (ML) in customer churn prediction to identify the best models for various industries. quantitative performance metrics of seven commonly used machine learning algorithms: Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, Random Forests, Naive Bayes, K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), AdaBoost, and XGBoost. The theoretical background, application context, and performance evaluation of each model are examined, focusing on precision, accuracy, recall, and F1 score. Evaluation of the performance of the model on different business data is also done to ensure that the application is real in the world. This comparison shows the advantages and disadvantages of each model and guides providers in their selection based on the specific needs of the business and profile features. Additionally, this paper explores future changes in predictions and highlights the changing role of machine learning technologies, especially deep learning, in improving the accuracy of predictions and personalization. This review is very useful for professionals and experts;It provides a better understanding of the current machine learning model for customer churn prediction and provides insight into future research and practical applications. ©2024 IEEE.

Fabric defect detection plays a crucial role in the textile manufacturing industry's quality control process since it guarantees that customers will receive perfect products. Deep Learning (DL) models have demonstrated a great deal of promise in recent years for accurately identifying fabric defects. The proposed fabric defect identification method combines the best features of two architectures: You Only Look Once (YOLOv4) and Region-based Convolutional Neural Network (R-CNN). While YOLOv4 offers quicker and more effective detection, R-CNN generates region recommendations that allow accurate localization of fabric defects. There are two stages in the proposed system. Initially, region proposals are detected using the R-CNN feature extractor and then a convolutional neural network is used for defect classification. YOLOv4 is used for performing object detection in the second step, where the flaws are concurrently classified and localized. The tests carried out on a fabric defect dataset show that the proposed method outperforms the R-CNN and YOLOv4 models separately. The proposed system is appropriate for real-Time fabric flaw detection applications in a variety of sectors due to its high detection accuracy and quick processing time. This study demonstrates how well R-CNN and YOLOv4 together work for fabric flaw detection, providing hope for future developments in the area. © 2024 IEEE.

The accurate classification of bone marrow cells has long been a critical component of diagnosing blood diseases. However, traditional methods rely on subjective human interpretation and lack standardized quantitative criteria. To address this challenge, this research proposes a Class Balance Deep Classification Model (CBDCM) designed to classify bone marrow cells using EfficientNet to handle the long-tailed data distribution problem. In order to validate the propose model by applying it to proper dataset and analyzing the experimental outcomes of the propose method. Notably, CBDCM attains impressive precision, sensitivity, and specificity values of 86.14%, 87.53%, and 99.45%, respectively. Simulation results show that CBDCM outperforms, demonstrating superior performance in a detailed comparison with both deep neural networks and traditional machine learning techniques. The findings of this study, with significant implications for addressing class imbalance in datasets, hold promise for standardizing the classification of bone marrow cells, potentially revolutionizing the diagnosis of blood diseases. © 2024 IEEE.

Multiclass segmentation of hand bones in X-ray images is crucial for various medical applications, including diagnostic assistance and surgical planning. This study presents BoneSegNet, a deep learning-based segmentation model designed to classify hand bones into seven distinct anatomical classes: Distal phalanges, Intermediate phalanges, Proximal phalanges, Metacarpals, Carpals, Ulna, and Radius. Our model, BoneSegNet leverages the strengths of both convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and transformer encoders incorporating the UNet architecture. Our model architecture begins with patch and positional embeddings of the input image, followed by a series of transformer encoder layers to capture long-range dependencies and contextual information. The transformer encoder is equipped with multi-head attention mechanisms and multi-layer perceptron's (MLPs) with GELU activation and dropout for regularization. Skip connections at specific layers are stored and later utilized in the decoder. The decoding path consists of a series of deconvolution and convolution blocks designed to progressively upscale the feature maps while incorporating skip connections from the encoder. This hierarchical structure ensures detailed spatial information is preserved and enhanced. The final output layer employs a 1x1 convolution with a sigmoid activation function to produce the multiclass segmentation map. The model is trained and evaluated on a dataset of hand X-ray images. It achieves an average accuracy of 99.25%, an average Dice score of 0.81, an average mIoU score of 0.70, sensitivity of 0.79, and specificity of 0.997. These results demonstrate the model's effectiveness in accurately segmenting and classifying hand bones, making it a valuable tool for medical professionals. © 2024 IEEE.

In urban areas, traffic congestion is a major problem causing increased travel times, higher consumption of fuel, and environmental pollution. The traditional traffic control systems cannot adapt to dynamic traffic conditions, causing inefficient traffic flow and inefficient use of road infrastructure. In this paper, we propose a novel method to enhance traffic management strategies through dynamic simulation and reinforcement learning (RL). A simulation framework is presented that models the complex interactions among vehicles, traffic signals, and infrastructure in a realistic urban environment. Within this framework, RL agents are deployed to learn adaptive traffic control policies that minimize congestion and optimize traffic flow. This approach uses the ability of RL to continuously learn and adjust to shifting traffic circumstances, which results in improved efficiency and responsiveness compared to static or rule-based control systems. Finally, evaluate the effectiveness of the approach through extensive simulations and demonstrate its capability to significantly reduce congestion, decrease travel times, decrease average waiting time and enhance overall traffic management. By integrating dynamic simulation and RL-based control strategies, the proposed approach offers a guaranteed solution for addressing the challenges of urban traffic congestion and advancing the field of intelligent transportation systems. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper is about making user experience with social media better, by developing the complete analysis tool that would parse textual data from different platforms like Instagram, Facebook or Reddit. By developing a custom browser extension, the user-generated content is captured in real-time and can also be processed subsequently. The project comprises two key components: Emotion Detection and Hate Speech Detection. The Emotion Detection system uses sophisticated Natural Language Processing NLP techniques, such as BERT models to identify users' emotional state through their social media posts. This information is then used to develop a daily mental state report by which users are able to gain insights into their emotional health over time. Further, the Hate Speech Detection system leverages machine learning algorithms to detect and mark words that may be harmful or offensive in user- generated content. This feature enhances positive and inclusive Internet environment. The project goes beyond the analysis;it includes a pragmatic component suggesting specific tasks for users depending on their mental state reports. These recommendations are aimed at promoting positive interaction and enhancing the user's overall well-being. This project offers a comprehensive insight into users' emotional experiences on social media using state-of-the-art NLP and machine learning approaches. The combination of task recommendations and text summarization increases interaction among users, creating a pleasant atmosphere where people can enjoy using social media. The browser extension is a multipurpose tool that does not merely analyze but provides some improvements to the user's mental health and online activity. © 2024 IEEE.

Nirnayaak is a novel and advanced legal software application, that is meticulously designed to expedite the retrieval of crucial legal information in an Indian Context, addressing the challenges posed by a growing caseload and inaccuracies in the legal system. Employing a groundbreaking architectural framework, it leverages OCR, Smart Text preprocessing, keyword extraction, a sophisticated LLM-based summarization and information retrieval and a feedback-based keyword ranking technique. This amalgamation of techniques enhances the accuracy and accessibility of legal data, enabling legal professionals, scholars, and the public to access pertinent information seamlessly just using natural language queries. We conducted benchmarks on popular keyword extraction techniques, demonstrating that our preprocessing techniques enhance their performance.
