This study provides an innovative architectural model for e-Health systems that aims to improve cyber resilience while maintaining high availability under fluctuating traffic loads. We examined typical cybersecurity incidents in the field of e-Health, their correlations with architectural defects, and frequent design patterns in currently operational systems. A testing approach based on our research finds those weaknesses and proposes viable fixes. In this paper, a comprehensive support strategy for transitioning from conventional monolithic architectures to microservices is presented. This change makes use of cloud computing's vertical and horizontal scalability to maximize resource utilization while ensuring system reliability. We also discuss deployment ideas for the new microservices, focusing on operational resilience and cybersecurity in e-Health environments. © 2025, Politechnica University of Bucharest. The exponential growth of communication technologies has broadened the cloud computing ecosystem horizon to meet main communication needs. However, in-parallel upsurge in online attacks has alarmed industries to ensure optimal data security. The combination of steganography and cryptosystems has been recognized as an enhanced security model for data transfer among the main security systems now in use. In this paper, a hybrid approach using cryptography and K- Least Significant Bit Steganography algorithm in Cloud Computing (HYBC-KLSBS-CC) are proposed. Initially, input text data is retrieved from cloud storage and compressed using Huffman Compression Coding (HCC) to reduce data size. The compressed data is then encrypted with a Hybrid Cryptography Algorithm (Hyb-MRFC-ALC), combining Modified Random Fibonacci Cryptography and Asymmetric Lightweight Cryptography to ensure robust encryption. Finally, encrypted data is embedded within an image using the K-Least Significant Bit (KLSB) steganography technique, providing additional layer of security. The proposed method enhances data confidentiality, integrity, and storage efficiency in cloud environments. The proposed HYBC-KLSBS-CC approach attains 26.89%, 29.49% and 18.64% lower PSNR and 26.89%, 29.49% and 18.64% lower MSE when analyzed through existing techniques like data security dependent on cryptography steganography related with OTP procedure and Huffman coding in the cloud environment (CS-OTP-CE), a novel hybrid cryptographic framework for secure data storage in cloud computing: Integrating AES-OTP and RSA with adaptive key management and Time-Limited access control (AES-OTP-RSA-CC) and Crypto-Stegno dependent model for securing medical information on IOMT platform (CS-SMI-IOMT). © 2025 IEEE.

Based on the MPXV Clade IIb cases in Taiwan, 175 segments were identified from OPG001 to OPG210. The first focus of this paper is on sequence analysis of the MPXV cases in Taiwan, detailing the procedures, including semi-automated segmentation and dataset creation from a large number of MPXV Clade IIb nucleotide sequences found in the NCBI and GISAID databases. The second feature highlights the pioneering establishment of an MPXV Clade IIb RNA 2nd structure image dataset in Taiwan, as such a dataset does not yet exist globally. The third characteristic involves the use of unsupervised learning methods for the rapid clustering of MPXV Clade IIb RNA 2nd structure images. This approach allows not only for the quick detection and clustering of unknown MPXV Clade IIb cases but also for the rapid identification of new MPXV mutations and structural changes. Compared to traditional sequence analysis, this new hybrid systematic method significantly enhances overall efficiency, improving processing speed by at least 24 hours when handling the alignment of 10 MPXV sequences from Taiwan. Future plans include using this prototype analytical model and method to accelerate the analysis of critical lethal factors in MPXV Clade IIb, such as D14L, ultimately helping biologists reduce the time required for analysis and antiviral drug development. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

Air pollution remains a critical issue, adversely affecting public health and the environment. In this study, we utilize the Air Quality index dataset from Kaggle to analyze temporal and seasonal variations of key pollutants, specifically Carbon Monoxide (CO), Nitrogen Oxides (NOx), and Benzene (C6H6 ). Building upon this analysis, we predict Absolute Humidity (AH), a vital meteorological factor influencing pollutant dispersion, using Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) techniques. Three ML techniques, Linear Regression (LR), Random Forest (RF), and Support Vector Regression (SVR), and three DL techniques, Artificial Neural Network (ANN), Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM), are employed for predicting AH. The results indicate that while the RF model achieved the lowest Mean Absolute Error (MAE) among ML methods (0.02), the CNN model, despite having an MAE of 0.04, demonstrated statistical superiority through paired t-tests and Wilcoxon signed-rank tests (p © 2025 IEEE.

Internet of Things (IoT) has been rapidly growing over the past years. There have been many cybersecurity challenges faced by IoT-based smart cities in existing work for the energy, health and transportation sectors. These cybersecurity challenges are crucial to remove in the IoT sector to implement a safe and secure IoT based smart city. Vulnerabilities across layers in IoT are analyzed and a multi-layered model of security is proposed to enhance data integrity and communication security by using AI, blockchain and ML. This study explores the use of Genetic Algorithms (GA) to solve the NP-hard combinatorial optimization problem known as the Travelling Salesman Problem (TSP). The suggested GA, called GA-P, performs better than conventional techniques because it uses a new randomized crossover threshold. According to experimental assessments, GA-P outperforms a normal Genetic Algorithm with fixed crossover (GA-N, 628.6) and approaches the best Branch and Bound solutions (B&B, 560.6) with an average cost of 617.4 for 16-node graphs. With average execution times of 0.1347 seconds for 16 nodes, GA-P also demonstrates constant computational efficiency, outperforming B&B's exponentially growing temporal complexity (169.37 seconds for 16 nodes). In order to balance solution quality and computational cost, hyperparameter tweaking revealed the ideal values of population percentage (pp = 1.1), crossover proportion (cp = 0.8), mutation threshold (mt = 0.3), and exploration probability (ep = 0.2). The results show that GA-P is a scalable and efficient substitute for TSP, with room for improvement via parallelization and exploratory techniques. © 2025 IEEE.

Braille script serves as a fundamental medium of communication for individuals with visual impairments. However, its interpretation by non-experts poses a significant challenge, hindering inclusivity in education and daily interactions. This study proposes a system that leverages Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) and the Google Text-to-Speech (GTTS) library to translate Braille text into multilingual speech. This research addresses the challenge of Braille literacy among visually impaired individuals by developing a system that translates Braille text into multilingual speech. The proposed solution utilizes advanced CNNs for accurate Braille character recognition and integrates GTTS technology for real-time speech output. The results demonstrate a significant improvement in accessibility and communication for users, with an accuracy rate of 97.28% achieved using the AlexNet model." © 2025 IEEE.

Domain Adaptation has emerged as an important development in Speech Recognition systems for improving the transcription accuracy of the input audio. This study explores the enhancement of Domain-specific Automatic Speech Recognition performance through finetuning and postprocessing using Large Language Models, focusing specifically on the medical domain. We investigate how domain-specific finetuning and advanced text postprocessing techniques can significantly improve transcription accuracy in medical contexts, reducing errors in specialized terminology, acronyms, and abbreviations. Our findings highlight the benefits of integrating Large Language Model based postprocessing with Automatic Speech Recognition systems to achieve better results in complex domains. © 2025 Copyright for this paper by its authors.

This review explores recent advancements that are made in remote sensing, enabling detailed analysis of our ecosystem through high resolution and multispectral imaging. The recent advancements in remote sensing includes developments useful for generation of synthetic images using GAN such as StyleGAN3 and for estimation of carbon stocks in forest using OBIA. Ecotones like mangroves and saltmarsh are crucial for carbon sequestration but mapping them accurately was challenging due to spectral similarity and seasonal variations. Focusing on coastal protection by this review examines the mapping methodologies such as random forest classification, OBIA and FID for habitat distinction, canopy area assessment and analysis. Through these technologies data accuracy can be enhanced for better monitoring. This review concludes with a discussion of AI-powered image synthesis and classification. © 2025 IEEE.

Kidney stones are a common and impactful urological condition, with timely and accurate diagnosis being critical to prevent complications such as renal damage and avoid invasive treatments. This study explores the use of advanced deep learning models, including Vision Transformers (ViT), Swin Transformer and Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) - specifically XResNet-50, VGG-16, MobileNetV2 and AlexNet - to enhance kidney stone detection from CT scan images. Leveraging a robust dataset of annotated CT scans in JPG format, the approach employs transfer learning which leverages features learnt from the ImageNet dataset to optimize model performance, focusing on classifying cases as either "Kidney Stone Present"or "Kidney Stone Absent". To further improve diagnostic reliability, the Grad-CAM (Gradient-weighted Class Activation Mapping) identifies and localizes kidney stones within CT images, enhancing understanding of the model's decision-making and supporting interpretability. Addressing challenges related to dataset imbalance, model interpretability, and generalizability across healthcare settings. By refining these models for kidney stone detection, the main objective of this work is to build a reliable diagnostic tool that aids in clinical judgement and treatment planning, ultimately enhancing patient outcomes and encouraging broader clinical adoption. © 2025 IEEE.
