With applications including medical image analysis, picture sharpening and restoration, robot vision, pattern recognition, and video processing, among many others, image enhancement is the main topic in image processing and computer vision. There have been many algorithms for improving images established in the past. More extensive work on image-enhancing techniques has been done utilizing deep learning models in recent years, as these algorithms have achieved their peak in vision applications. In this study, we present a thorough analysis of machine learning, deep learning, and literature. The literature on image enhancement is then summarised, and future approaches for iris analysis are discussed. © 2024 IEEE.

As the world advances in technology, the classification of eye diseases is thought to have clinical applications since it evaluates and analyzes the results. Optometrists research and diagnose age-related eye problems such as Choroidal Neovascularization (CNV), Diabetic Macular Edema (DME), and Drusen using optical coherence tomography (OCT) of the human eye. Because their symptoms are similar, identifying these diseases is challenging and requires hours of expert analysis. The requirements for eye illness classification should be straightforward in nature, structure, and evaluation. Deep Learning Convolutional Neural Network Classification can create a hierarchical representation of images to differentiate between normal and diseased eye patterns for diagnostic purposes. Therefore, this paper aims to implement and define deep learning to classify and identify eye diseases. Using a four-class classification problem, this work investigates the automatic detection of Choroidal Neovascularization (CNV), Diabetic Macular Edema (DME), Drusen, and Normal in Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) pictures. Multi-transfer learning architecture was used in the suggested deep learning Ensemble classification model. The most incredible accuracy of our proposed Ensemble model for multi- class classification was 83%. © 2023 IEEE.

In the domain of first-person shooter (FPS) gaming, mouse sensitivity is crucial for performance. This paper presents an analysis showing the correlation between specific muscle activity and mouse movement. We analyzed mouse movements from twelve subjects with varying sensitivity levels. A new dataset electromyography analysis of human activity database 8 (EMAHA-DB8), is introduced which involved four mouse designs and two game modes: Medium (normal movement) and Hard (aggressive movement). Sensitivity settings were standardized using effective dots per inch (eDPI), calculated as Mouse DPI multiplied by in-game sensitivity. Hand muscle activity was measured using five Noraxon Ultium wireless surface electromyography (sEMG) sensors with Ag/AgCl electrodes. Various regression models, including Random Forest, Support Vector Regressor, K-Nearest Neighbors Regressor, MLP Regressor, and Gradient Boost Regressor, were used to predict eDPI from muscle movement patterns. Sequential feature selection identified the top ten features, highlighting the most significant muscles for predicting sensitivity. The results demonstrate that the Extensor Carpi Radialis (ECR) is the most active muscle, followed by the Extensor Digitorum (ED), while playing the chosen FPS game. These findings give insights for ergonomic and personalized equipment design to enhance gaming experience and performance. © 2024 IEEE.

Load scheduling plays a vital role in the home energy management systems. The main objective of this load scheduling is to balance the power demand and supply power without degrading the performance of the loads and consumers tolerance. Though many research works concentrate on load scheduling, very few works concentrated on real time scenario. On the other hand, research work concentrated on optimal load scheduling through fuzzy logic requires incorporation of fuzzy based system in either simulated or real-time home energy management system. Hence, the proposal aims to schedule the loads in a simulated home energy management system through fuzzy logic controller using MATLAB Simscape with required subsystems. The proposed simulated environment considers four different resistive loads. Intelligent scheduling is aimed to achieve efficient load scheduling. A fuzzy controller has three inputs namely integrated source, state of charge of battery, and power demand whereas probability of scheduling is considered as output. The efficiency of the proposed fuzzy-based load scheduling scheme is evaluated under various load conditions for different sub-systems with varying input power. Diabetes is a chronic disease whose timely and accurate diagnosis will prevent serious complications from health. This paper explores using iridology principles in a deep learning method to detect diabetes from retinal images in order to streamline the process and automate the procedure. The objective here is to create a non-invasive procedure for early and reliable detection of the disease. Deep learning in medical imaging is the new way to interfere with conventional modes of diagnostics. The retinal imaging is non-invasive and has, over the years, been put to use in medical examinations, and its potential is now absolutely being utilized in the early diagnosis of diabetes. A retinal analysis that is based on principles, integrating them into iridology, concentrating on the patterns and signs portrayed in the iris for possible reflections of a general health condition, is aimed at achieving earlier indications of diabetes in a more effortless and rapid way. Models such as ResNet50, ResNet101, and EfficientNetB7 were precious but actually, it was InceptionV3 that delivered a great accuracy of 97.14%. This result proves the feasibility application of InceptionV3 for diagnosing diabetes in the early stages, thus eventually providing an easy and non-invasive way of moving forward to better health. © 2025 IEEE.

Fake news continues to proliferate, posing an increasing threat to public discourse. The paper proposes a framework of a Mixture of Experts, Sentiment Analysis, and Sarcasm Detection experts for improved fake news detection. This approach captures the emotional cues in the text through a Sentiment Analysis expert, which is based on bidirectional encoder representations from Transformers (BERT) models with sentiment vectors generated using SentiWordNet and Integrated Gradients. It combines a sarcasm detection expert based on BERT, recognizing sarcasm and its type to help classify fake news. By fusing these experts through a Mixture of Experts gateway, subtle linguistic cues often found in fake news are more effectively analyzed, leading to improved accuracy in detecting misinformation. Experimental results are presented as 96% for the Sarcasm expert with the BERT base model and 83% for the Sentiment Analysis expert with the distilled version of the BERT (DistilBERT) base model, proving the effectiveness of the proposed approach in beating traditional methods. © 2024 IEEE.

Maintaining the health and production of mango farms depends on the early detection of illnesses in mango trees. Despite the vital role agriculture plays, it remains an industry receiving limited attention from the machine-learning community. A noteworthy challenge is the lack of standardized and openly accessible agricultural datasets, impeding researchers from fully leveraging the potential of advanced computational prediction tools. The study focuses on employing deep learning and image processing techniques for diagnosing prevalent mango leaf diseases in India. The goal is to enhance both the quality and quantity of agricultural production by implementing effective disease control measures upon identifying plant diseases. The automation of plant disease detection proves particularly beneficial, reducing the monitoring efforts required by large farms. Rapid identification of leaf diseases is crucial, given that leaves serve as a plant's primary source of nutrition. Notably, none of the seven different mango leaf illnesses that have been observed in India have ever been the subject of earlier research. In this study, we provide a lightweight Resnet50 model that can reliably classify healthy mango leaves and the seven discovered illnesses on mango leaves. The performance of our proposed lightweight Resnet-50 model is evaluated against many pre-trained models, such as Exception, Resnet101, and VGG16. The findings reveal that the lightweight Resnet-50 model achieves the highest testing accuracy, reaching an impressive 95%. This underscores the model's effectiveness in automating the identification of mango leaf diseases, offering a promising solution for improving agricultural practices in India. © 2024 IEEE.

The maintenance and enhancement of dynamic soil characteristics are the primary focus of soil management in agriculture to increase crop productivity. Higher productivity may result from efficient soil control of resources and corrective micronutrient treatments. Using CNN and 'KNN' algorithms, the 'soil land classification and crop prediction system' application was created. In this study, two datasets are used: one to obtain crop prediction and the other for soil land categorization. The kind of soils are trained using CNN ('VGG- 19') algorithm, and the accuracy of the model is calculated. The trained model is then utilized in the Flask web app to forecast the type of soil. Another data set with nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, pH, and temperature as features and the class type of crop as a label is used to forecast crop production. These two algorithms are used to create the flask website, which accepts inputs such as soil picture, soil type prediction, and land parameter inputs for crop prediction. © 2024 IEEE.

Device identification is a crucial aspect of securing networks, particularly in the context of the Internet of Things (IoT), where a vast variety of devices are interconnected. Recently, there has been significant research on developing techniques for identifying IoT devices based on their unique characteristics, called as device fingerprints. These techniques use machine learning algorithms, which can effectively learn and classify devices based on their features. However, device identification remains a challenging task due to the diversity of IoT devices and the constant evolution of their characteristics. This paper presents our attempt at device identification by analyzing distinct device characteristics observed during network communication and using different machine learning techniques. © 2023 IEEE.

In present days, Multi Label Text Classification (MLTC) has become an important research area in Natural Language Processing (NLP). Existing models of MLTC have been facing domain specificity and fine-tuning challenges. Hence a model is developed to overcome the above said challenges by introducing Prompt engineering, GPT FineTuning methods and Pipeline algorithms. The experimental results are obtained based on the present Generative pre trained data produces labels for various text documents and files with an exceptional accuracy of 85%. The outcomes of the experiments reveal notable enhancements over the baseline models. © 2024 IEEE.
