In this paper, we study the multi-layered security approaches for cooperative relay networks against passive eavesdropping adversaries. Specifically, we investigated physical layer approaches (i.e., beamformed and artificial noise injections) to improve the signal defence ability at a much lower eavesdropping capacity. Trade-offs in these cryptographic methods were studied in terms of encryption strength vs. decryption time under different loads on the network. The security of the network layer was assessed by measuring packet delivery ratios and data integrity violations under malicious nodes. Results show that multi-layer security is performed at the cost of performance, but much better network defence mechanisms are proposed overall. While this end-to-end approach strikes a reasonable balance between security and real-world performance considerations, it presents itself as a sensible solution for securing network communications against eavesdropping threats.

The new generation wireless system is an integrated global network, which provides many services for end users across the globe. The major requirement of end users is to allow the mobile user to roam seamlessly across the network. Heterogeneous Wireless Networks (HWNs) permit users with global devices to access the required service at any place and anywhere. The HWNs contain many Radio Access technology RATs such as GPRS (General Packet Radio Services), UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunication Service), Wi-Fi (Wireless Fidelity), Wi-Max (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access), WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) and transferring the ongoing call and providing seamless mobility can be achieved by Vertical Handover (VHO) mechanisms. The heterogeneous wireless networks (HWN) integrated with the network characteristics, like the bandwidth, speed support, cost, security, power consumption, delay, and range of communication are employed for obtaining better Quality of Services (QoS). For better mobility management, handover (HO) is the most significant aspect considered for solving the issues regarding mobility the designed Novel approach uses metaheuristics algorithms like grey wolf optimization (GWO) and Mayfly optimization (MFO) technique to provide a better service for end-user in terms of energy consumption, and handover delay, Call drop probability and throughput. © 2022 The Authors

Amidst rapid urbanization and fluctuating climatic patterns, the world witnessed a surge in mosquito-borne diseases, escalating global health concerns. Mosquitoes, often dismissed as mere irritants, are carriers for a spectrum of conditions, including malaria, dengue, and the Zika virus, with WHO reporting large numbers of dengue cases annually. This review delves deep into the observation of mosquito behavior and the challenges in eradicating these pests, emphasizing the inefficacy of singular sensory targeting repellents. This paper introduces a pioneering device, combining the mosquito’s affinity towards light with the suffocating effects of metofluthrin, offering a holistic solution. By the combination of advanced engineering with a comprehensive understanding of mosquito behavioral dynamics, this device promises not only to repel but to substantially reduce these vectors, fostering safer indoor spaces. Through a detailed exploration of current methodologies and the introduction of this integrated strategy, this paper provides insights into creating a healthier, mosquito-free environment.

This research was aims to design a prototype and application for early detection of Happy Hypoxia symptoms in COVID-19 patients based on the Internet of Things (IoT). The experimental board consists of a microcontroller integrated with a pulse oximetry sensor, a heart rate sensor and a body temperature sensor. To determine the feasibility of the tool, an accuracy test is carried out. Accuracy shows the value of the proximity of the measurement results to the reference value or standard value. Accuracy is obtained by calculating the error value. The accuracy of the sensors used in this study refers to standard medical equipment that has been calibrated. In this study, the accuracy value was obtained by referring to the mean of error rate of each sensor. The sensor reading value is sent from the microcontroller to firebase as a cloud database and then displayed on the application dashboard as a user interface. From this data, it is hoped that it can help COVID-19 sufferers to detect the symptoms of Happy Hypoxia and help medical experts for prognostic or therapeutic purposes. © 2021 IEEE.

Innovative design patterns have traditionally been constrained by time-consuming and expertise-intensive methods, limiting diversity and creativity in design. To overcome these challenges, our research focuses on revolutionizing the design process by leveraging Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs). Our goal is to offer an affordable and cutting-edge solution that enables the creation of unique design patterns based on user input text. By harnessing the power of GANs, we can generate high-resolution images, reducing the reliance on expensive designers and fostering creativity and idea generation in the design sector. Our methodology involves building upon a diverse dataset of sunflower images and associated text data borrowed from the Oxford-102 flowers dataset. We meticulously collect, clean, and normalize this dataset to ensure optimal training. U sing an encoder-decoder architecture, we train a GAN -based generative model to produce remarkable sunflower patterns. To enhance usability, we have developed a user-friendly graphical user interface (GUI) that allows users to input text and receive corresponding sunflower images seamlessly. Our current model has exhibited promising results, achieving an inception score of 3.45 ± 0.05 in generating sunflower patterns. These outcomes demonstrate the feasibility of our approach, which not only reduces design costs but also fosters innovation and ingenuity within the industry. By making this solution publicly accessible, we aim to support local businesses and individuals with limited finances in creating distinctive design patterns.

Parkinson's disease (PD) is a type of progressive neurological disorder which effect on the human nervous system and its main cause is decrease level of dopamine in forebrain. To develop a web application to detect if a persons have the PD or not having the PD using input voice features and supervised machine learning models. Linear and time frequency based features are extracted from each input voice samples. These are used to train and are given as input for the machine learning model to predict. Presence of PD or not. We are here using the voice dataset collected from people with and without PD for Machine Learning algorithms: SVM, Random Forest, XGBoost, and KNN. © 2022 IEEE.

This paper presents a power quality control in a microgrid system using different Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) techniques. The main aim of the study is to evaluate the performance of the microgrid system in terms of power quality parameters, such as harmonic distortion and voltage stability, when different MPPT techniques are employed. The microgrid system incorporates a hybrid power generation system consisting of solar panels, wind turbines, and energy storage systems, which are integrated and controlled using different MPPT techniques, including the Perturb & Observation (P&O) method and the Fuzzy MPPT technique. A single-phase sinusoidal pulse width modulation (SPWM) inverter, based on the PQ control strategy, is used to supply power to the grid and maintain a constant DC link voltage. Additionally, a fuel cell is employed to substantially reduce power fluctuations. A comparison of the power quality performance of the micro grid system using these MPPT techniques is carried out through simulation studies using MATLAB/Simulink platform. The results are analyzed and discussed in detail, and recommendations are provided for improving the power quality control of the microgrid system.

In the field of the fashion industry, the introduction of deep learning technology has taken an innovative revolution by providing assistance in the construction of intellectual systems that are intelligent to deliver personalized ensemble recommendations. In this research work, an innovative ensemble recommendation structure called Deep Learning VGG16 (Visual Geometry Group 16) recommender is presented. The proposed method allows a deep learning model VGG16 to understand complex patterns and developments resulting from a vast group of fashion images. In order to increase the user experience and greater participation in the well-established fashion industry, the system offers personalized ensemble ideas. The important, core and fundamental component of the system is VGG16, consisting of 13 convolutional layers and 3 fully connected layers, which is used to support the analysis of fashion images. A cutting-edge convolutional neural network (CNN) model is improved over a large and diverse collection of fashion images. Model will extract advanced high-level information and statistics with the capability to distinguish particulars in colour patterns, clothing combinations, and stylistic elements. Using this process of development, the system becomes better at identifying user preferences and fashion trends.

This article describes a series of approaches that improve wire are additive manufacturing (WAAM) for manufacturing many metal items. ATM, MCA 2, ALTC 2, and RSM are the five techniques in the framework. Ablation research examined each approach and how they work together to improve WAAM accuracy, distortion, and material compatibility. The thorough performance comparison, including photographs, indicates that WAAM is better in deposition rate, surface quality, clarity, material diversity, cost-effectiveness, and scalability. The integrated framework enables dynamic modifications, tracking, and iterative improvements. This makes WAAM the optimal additive manufacturing process for many applications. The data indicates how significant each strategy is and how they work together to improve WAAM. This study illuminates sophisticated additive manufacturing technologies and indicates that WAAM is a feasible and flexible alternative to large metal component manufacturing. © 2024 IEEE.
