While vehicle-to-everything technology has been proposed to improve road traffic efficiency and safety, it would suffer from the low coverage during an early stage of vehicle-to-everything deployment. The infrastructure-based solutions have been developed to tackle the problem by gathering traffic status on a roadside unit and broadcasting the detected information to nearby connected vehicles. In this work, we aim to augment such an infrastructure-centric design by proposing a multiple applications software framework to broadcast the sensed traffic conditions to connected vehicles in the vicinity. In addition, we propose a software module to improve the handling of multiple applications for the roadside unit. We have evaluated the proposed software in indoor tests, which shows that the framework can significantly improve traffic safety while conforming to the performance specifications of the standards defined by the Society of Automotive Engineers. © 2022 ACM.

The paper presents the design and development of a human health monitoring system that could be used for various types of biomedical engineering applications. Our research paper approaches on how we can monitor our health at any place and any point of time. With an improvement in technology and miniaturization of sensors, there have been attempts to utilize the new technology in various areas to improve the quality of human life. One main area of research that has seen an adoption of the technology is the healthcare sector. As a result, this project is an attempt to solve a healthcare problem currently society is facing. The main objective of the project was to design a remote healthcare system. It’s comprised of three main parts. The first part being, detection of patient’s vitals using sensors, second for sending data to cloud storage and the last part was providing the detected data for remote viewing. Remote viewing of the data enables a doctor or guardian to monitor a patient’s health progress away from hospital premises. The Internet of Things (IoT) concepts have been widely used to interconnect the available medical resources and offer smart, reliable, and effective healthcare service to the patients. Health monitoring for active and assisted living is one of the paradigms that can use the IoT advantages to improve the patient’s lifestyle. In this project, we have presented an IoT architecture customized for healthcare applications. The aim of the project was to come up with a Remote Health Monitoring system that can be made with locally available sensors with a view to making it affordable if it were to be mass produced. Hence the proposed architecture collects the sensor data through ESP8266 microcontroller and relays it to the cloud where it is processed and analysed for remote viewing. The work presented in this paper is the mini-project work of the under-graduate students of the engineering college guided by their supervisors. © Grenze Scientific Society

The paper presents the design and development of a short range motion detector based droid. In this digital and automotive day and age, robotics, and IoT produce an impact on human life. One can't just rely on the traditional mode of work in this era. One has to adapt the robotics and keep digging in it, as it's the near future for humans. So to do this there are many aspects to implement automotive in day-to-day life. One such event is to study a robot that follows humans that means which can detect human movement and react as per this movement. The study shows that there are many researchers, scientists, engineers who have worked and still working to improve this human movement detection in robotics. This paper has studied some of the previous work and gave a comparative analysis of the same. This work describes the design of a charge pump-based phase locked loop (PLL). Design is carried out using 45nm CMOS process targeted at sub-6GHz frequency range. Candence virtuoso studio is used to design the circuit. It uses a combinational circuit phase detector with transmission gates that resolves the issues of blind zone and dead zone, along with a three-stage current starved voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO). The proposed frequency synthesizer operates with a very low power dissipation of 8.05 mW from a 0.75V power supply, frequency of VCO centered at 2.5GHz, with a phase noise performance of – 127 dBc/Hz at 1 MHz offset. It is intended to achieve phase locking in the sub 6GHz frequency range for use in software defined radio (SDR) and exhibits reduced lock time of ~13.5ns, offering a percentage improvement of 32.5%.

DNA-based encryption with bioinformatics has emerged as a promising field for secure data storage and transfer. This study analyzes the bioinformatics aspects of DNA cryptography, focusing on important advancements and challenges. We look at techniques like DNA origami, enzymatic reactions, and DNA strand displacement that use DNA sequences to encode and decode data. Additionally discussed are the security implications of DNA-based cryptography, including privacy issues, data integrity issues, and the potential for DNA-based attacks. Finally, we outline some possible directions for further review, such as developing more robust error-correction systems, looking at cutting-edge DNA-based encryption methods using bioinformatics, and addressing the ethical and societal implications of this emerging technology.

In order to address the spectrum scarcity issues that affect today's wireless services, the concept of cognitive radio has been proposed. A licensed spectrum is made available to smart and adaptable secondary users through this framework. Because of cognitive radio technology, these unlicensed secondary users can take advantage of any spectrum utilization opportunity by dynamically adjusting their broadcast characteristics. In this study, we explore the defining aspects and primary capabilities of cognitive radio focused technology. As well as Spectrum sensing has been considered a key enabling technology for cognitive radio based wireless networks of the future. In this paper, we evaluate and contrast a variety of technologies in terms of their sensing sensitivity, the complexity of implementation, and computational demands. Several problems with spectrum sensing have been studied, and several opinions have been presented. © 2022 IEEE.

Due to appear new applications such as information showering and the vehicular applications that demand a high data rate, better bandwidth utilization, and good quality of service (QoS) in wireless communication systems, that can only be achievable in Fifth Generation (5G). This paper proposes compact triple-band Y-shaped microstrip patch antennas (MPAs) for 5G applications. The proposed antenna has a dimension of 5 × 5 × 0.381 mm3, uses Rogers/ RT Duroid 5870 as a substrate material, and a loss tangent of 0.0012. The Defected ground structure (DGS) in the middle and groove at the top of the ground plane was implemented. This achieves -10 dB bandwidth from 29.55-30.72 GHz with a maximum gain of 6.834 dB, from 57.36-63.34 GHz with a maximum gain of 10.196 dB, and from 68.56-94.281 GHz with a maximum gain of 8.628 dB at resonant frequencies 30.1 GHz, 60 GHz, and 81.3 GHz respectively. The proposed antenna has a high gain and a broad bandwidth making it a candidate for 5G millimeter-wave (mmwave) applications. This paper presents a new design of a multiband antenna for multiband applications. To enhance the bandwidth and return loss characteristics, three Square split ring resonators (SSRRs) and two inverted U-slots on a partial ground were applied in this design. The antenna has a size of 40 × 41 × 1.6 mm3, printed on FR-4 dielectric material with height (h) of 1.6 mm, loss tangent () of 0.02 and dielectric constant () of 4.4. Antenna parameters such as return loss (), gain, voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR), radiation pattern were simulated and analyzed. The antenna has two frequency bands. Lung segmentation algorithms are crucial for accurately delineating the areas of infection within the lungs. The main aim of this research work is to generate a highly efficient and reliable deep learning model for lung segmentation. This will be achieved by utilizing chest computed tomography (CT) images and DeepLabV3+ networks. The model will be designed to classify the images into two classes (background and lung field). This work examines the efficacy of the DeepLab V3+network using three pre-trained networks: Xception, ResNet-18, Inception-ResNet-50, MobileNet-v2. The evaluation of the segmentation performance has been conducted using five performance metrics: Intersection of Union (IoU), Weighted IoU, Balance Fl score, pixel accuracy, and global accuracy. The empirical findings of this study validate that the DeepLabv3+ network, when coupled with ResNet-18 and a batch size of 8, exhibits superior performance in two-class segmentation. In the proposed work the mean accuracy and Mean IoU is 99.59% and 98.89% respectively. The automated segmentation model we have built can be enhanced to serve as a clinical diagnosis method for lung diseases.

The paper presents the design and development of concept for detecting the skin cancer using AI & ML approaches. Over the last few years, Deep Learning has been on the spotlight when it comes to solving many complex problems, namely Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) in the field of image recognition. Since this Neural Networks can sometimes achieve more than 50 layers deep, Transfer Learning (TL) techniques are also getting popular to retrain some of the layers of Neural Networks that learned from a generic dataset, putting it to use in another case. In this work, we attempt using CNNs and TL techniques on pre-trained Neural Networks to distinguish melanoma skin cancer from seborrheic keratosis and nevus benign tumours.
