A soil-centric crop recommendation system recommends suitable crops utilizing vital soil attributes as input factors. This sophisticated system incorporates parameters like Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P), Potassium (K) levels, temperature, humidity, pH, and rainfall to suggest ideal crops for cultivation. The dataset comprises diverse crops and their specific requirements for each input parameter. We implemented an optimized neural network to provide precise crop recommendations based on the provided input values. By analyzing this data, the system provides farmers with the information necessary to make well-informed decisions regarding their choice of crops, enhancing the potential for optimal yields. Our model performed well on training and testing data with an accuracy of 0.94. These results demonstrate its effectiveness and potential as a valuable tool for agricultural decision-making. This system offers farmers tailored recommendations based on soil properties, climatic conditions, and other environmental factors. © 2024 IEEE.

Nowadays, there is a necessity to tackle a number of pending crime cases across different parts of the world through effective scheduling and management. AI and ML can be used in handling unfinalized criminal cases in India can be one of the possible ways of improving the functioning of the criminal justice system in this country. The approach to this project is to create an AI system that will filter through the open cases and then rank them according to complexity, time-sensitivity, prior performances, and location. Since priority in a case is explained through the use of a supervised learning based on selected set, then law enforcement as well as legal personnel are able to shift most of their attention to other significant cases. Despite feature engineering and data preprocessing being in the construction of the system from the data collected from the various sources such as court records. This means that there is than models such as;Random Forest, Apriori and Rule-Based in an effort to establish the most suitable model. Perhaps the application of this AI based mechanism to form priorities could aid India in better organization of resources and with the assistance of backlog decrease – the justice system in India. But as the right touch to measure artificial use is considered, themes of privacy, bias, and fairness must also be addressed appropriately. © 2024 IEEE.

Trigeminal Neuralgia (TN) is a debilitating chronic pain disorder that significantly diminishes overall well-being, making diagnosis and therapy more challenging. The quick and precise categorization of TN severity is critical to therapy effectiveness. To assess the severity of TN, this study makes use of advanced machine learning techniques and explainable AI (XAI) approaches. We use a range of bagging and boosting strategies, including AdaBoost, Random Forest, Decision Tree, K-Nearest Neighbours (KNN), Gradient Boosting, and Logistic Regression. Random Forest was 95.2% accurate, whereas AdaBoost and Gradient Boosting were 92% and 97.2% in terms of their accuracy. The Decision Tree classifier obtained an accuracy of 84.62%, while K-Nearest Neighbours and Logistic Regression also achieved 92.31% accuracy. F1- score, precision, and recall metrics were used to assess performance on a dataset that included patient demographics and medical histories. XAI techniques, such as LIME and SHAP values, were used to improve the models' readability and transparency, which helped to progress the creation of cutting-edge diagnostic tools and increase clinician and researcher confidence. © 2024 IEEE.

Monkeypox is a contagious viral infection caused by the monkeypox virus (Mpoxvirus). Characterized by skin lesions, fever, respiratory difficulties, swollen lymph nodes, and neurological complications, MPX can be fatal. Recent outbreaks have spread the disease across Europe, Australia, the United States, and Africa. Traditionally diagnosed through PCR testing of skin lesions, this process poses significant risks to medical personnel due to potential exposure to the highly contagious virus. However, the usage artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing diagnostics, providing a safer and more efficient approach to MPX detection. In this paper, a new AI technique based on vision transformer and lion optimizer for classifying Monkeypox Skin Images. The presented model used for classifying the dataset and results reached accuracy of 99.6%. © 2024 IEEE.

The adoption of IoT has raised concerns about security as life-threatening attacks become more common. To address this, ultra-lightweight secure SoCs become a demand to ensure trusted operation in the presence of untrusted IPs while meeting power and area constraints. Integrity, one of the main components of security, is the prevention of protected data modification without detection. Hash functions are used to ensure data integrity in secure systems. In this paper, we propose a low-power implementation of a hash function by using approximate adders in SHA-256 implementation. First, approximate adders’ designs were investigated, where we tested the output uniqueness of each of them, as the output uniqueness of an adder improves the properties of hash results. Then, the chosen adders are utilized for hash implementation. Next, the Avalanche test is applied to evaluate the properties of the proposed hash functions. Synthesis and simulation results show that using an approximate adder reduces the power consumed in the combinational part by up to 66% while the avalanche test results are reduced gradually from 50% to 25%. © 2024 SPIE. This project presents a comprehensive approach to address the challenges of handwritten data structure and algorithm (DSA) problems through the integration of computer vision, Optical Character Recognition (OCR), and algorithmic analysis. Our methodology entails the creation of meticulously annotated datasets of handwritten graph images, crucial for training our models effectively. Leveraging state-of-the-art techniques, we employ Detectron2 and YOLO for robust detection of handwritten elements, including nodes and edges in DSA problem graphs. Additionally, the Microsoft Azure OCR API facilitates the accurate extraction of textual content from handwritten images, providing essential data for algorithmic analysis. Through experimentation and evaluation, our approach demonstrates remarkable accuracy and efficiency gains compared to conventional methods, with accuracy rates about 95% in adjacency matrix generation and 81% in weighted matrix generation. These results underscore the efficacy of our methodology in streamlining algorithmic problem-solving processes, significantly reducing manual effort, and enhancing productivity. The implications of our findings extend beyond mere efficiency gains, as the automation of DSA problem analysis holds promise for accelerating learning and education in the field. Future work will focus on refining our models, expanding to tackle diverse DSA problems, and exploring educational applications to empower learners and educators alike in the realm of data structures and algorithms. © 2024 IEEE.

In this study, we introduce a new dataset specifically designed for detecting messenger phishing, an increasingly significant issue in cybercrime. To overcome the scarcity of labeled phishing data, we employ large language models (LLMs) to generate synthetic data, thereby expanding the dataset and improving detection capabilities. Our experimental results show that a model trained exclusively on synthetic data performs comparably to those trained with labeled data. Furthermore, combining synthetic data with labeled data achieves superior F1 and accuracy scores compared to using labeled data only while reducing misclassification errors. © 2025 IEEE.

Modern expectations for efficiency and sustainability are sometimes not addressed by the existing approaches in the continually changing environment of agricultural activities. In order to fully address these difficulties, research investigates how precision farming practices may be integrated while utilizing technological improvements. Study attempts to estimate optimal crop choices by assessing important characteristics including area, rainfall, temperature, and district-specific data, giving farmers the power to make well-informed and data-driven decisions. Precision farming lowers risks related to climatic unpredictability, increases output, and minimizes resource waste. By using the strategy, encourage resilience and innovation in the agricultural industry while bridging the gap between current farming practices and the sustainable agriculture of the future. Employing advanced algorithms including LR, Ridge Regression, DTs, and classifiers, achieved a remarkable 96% accuracy rate. Additionally, the proposed system offers real-time alerts via email or SMS, delivering timely advice and actionable insights to enhance agricultural sustainability and productivity. © 2025 IEEE.

Recently, as messenger phishing has been occurring more frequently, the need for its detection has increased;however, datasets for messenger phishing detection are publicly unavailable. In this paper, we address the data scarcity problem of the newly collected messenger phishing dataset by leveraging various types of pre-existing auxiliary phishing data. Experimental results demonstrate that the error rate decreased by up to 1.81 % and the F1 score improved by 7.35% when smishing and voice phishing data are used. These findings confirm that integrating heterogeneous phishing data can mitigate the data scarcity problem and enhance messenger phishing detection performance. © 2025 IEEE.
