Malware detection has become significantly more difficult due to the constant evolution of malware and the emergence of various variants. While machine learning-based malware detection method solves the limitations of traditional methods to a certain extent, the vast majority of current work uses supervised learning methods, which require large sets of labeled data, which means a huge amount of manpower and time cost. Self-supervised learning can solve these problems by extracting information from unlabeled data for learning. In this paper, we introduce BiBE, a malware detection architecture based on self-supervised learning framework. We first preprocess the samples with normalization, complete the missing information of features, and perform vectorization processing. Then, after learning and encoding the sample features by setting proxy tasks, we use comparative learning to distinguish similar samples, achieve the division of positive and negative samples and assign pseudo-labels. Finally, the labeled samples and pseudo-labeled samples are put into the Bi-LSTM network to train the classifier to detect malware. Moreover, we also evaluate the model on a public dataset. The evaluation shows that the BiBE model has good convergence and generalization in training, achieves excellent detection performance, and outperforms other existing methods, verifying the feasibility of the BiBE model. © 2023 IEEE.

To solve the problem of environment perceived instability in the process of autonomous navigation of USVs, a local planning method based on DYNAMIC WINDOWS APPROACH is proposed for the known static obstacles and unknown dynamic obstacles collision avoidance planning in the navigation area of USVs, and combined with the Velocity Obstacle method, the velocity obstacle region is incorporated in the dynamic window to further optimize the speed constrained It also sets the fusion to start distance and limit distance in the evaluation function to take into account the safety and economy of the planning and improves the efficiency of the dynamic window method to evaluate the predicted trajectory for finding the best. The simulation results verify that the improved DWA can achieve automatic obstacle avoidance in complex environments, and ensure the safety of obstacle avoidance navigation while the planning path is more reasonable and smooth, avoiding the USVs from bypassing outside the dense obstacle cluster, and the number of iterations and running time are reduced by more than 15%. The research results have more obvious scientific value and practical significance to the development of autonomous obstacle avoidance technology for unmanned vehicles. © 2023 IEEE.

This study presents a comprehensive approach to developing a domain-specific large language model (LLM) for regulatory and financial text interpretation. A specialized corpus was constructed through large-scale scraping of financial and regulatory documents across domains such as compliance, licensing, and financial reporting. The data was preprocessed using GPT-4o-mini with prompt engineering to retain critical information and remove noise. We further pre-trained a LLaMA-3.1-8B model on the curated corpus and fine-tuned it using an instruction dataset covering nine tasks from the Coling 2025 Regulations Challenge (Wang et al., 2024), including acronym expansion, regulatory question-answering, and XBRL-based financial analytics, employing QLoRA to reduce memory requirements. The model exhibits a slight improvement from baseline answering complex regulatory questions (detailed QA) and expanding acronyms. This study demonstrates the potential of domain-specific LLMs in regulatory text interpretation and lays the groundwork for future research in specialized NLP evaluation methodologies. © 2025 Association for Computational Linguistics.

In solving the problem of UAV task sequence conflict, this paper proposes a reassignment task sequence maintenance method. First, the composition of the task sequence is defined, and the maintenance mechanism of the task sequence is explained. Then, the CBBA algorithm is improved. By judging the consistency of the mission sequence of the platform, the task contribution degree is introduced, and the UAV with the least contribution degree is eliminated to achieve the goal. Finally, the feasibility of this method is verified by experiments. This mechanism can ensure the consistency between task sequences at most times, so as to ensure that different UAVs can obtain conflict-free task allocation schemes. © 2023 IEEE.

Path planning is the key technology in the entire unmanned system cooperative combat system, but most of the current research can only produce better planning results in the two-dimensional environment. The path planning in the three-dimensional environment still has low planning efficiency and poor planning results. This paper proposes an improved artificial potential field method, which is applied to the 3D environment path planning between cross-domain unmanned platforms. At the same time, it solves the shortcomings of the traditional artificial potential field method in the path planning of unmanned systems. Aiming at the problem of local minimum and unreachable target point, a new repulsion function and an adaptive repulsion parameter adjustment method are introduced, so that the unmanned platform can quickly leave the local minimum point, and the algorithm can overcome the problem of unreachable target points in the artificial potential field method. Aiming at network communication problems in engineering practice, a method of eliminating jitter and necessity detection is proposed, which eliminates redundant path points in path planning results. The experimental results prove that the improved artificial potential field method can overcome the problem of narrow channel jitter, local minimum value and target point inaccessibility, generate a smoother path, and significantly shorten the algorithm operation time. © 2023 IEEE.

This research-to-practice WIP shares preliminary findings about faculty contributions to cultivating an inclusive culture for students from traditionally/ historically excluded groups within the STEM field. Faculty perspectives about STEM culture correlate to traditionally/historically excluded students' sense of belonging and retention in STEM disciplines [1]. As a result, the 'chilly' climate in STEM decreases the sense of belonging in STEM for traditionally/historically excluded students' [2]. These findings from the study demonstrate faculty perception of inclusion and their perception of the inclusivity of STEM culture. STEM faculty have a substantial role in educating future professionals. The following research questions were used to guide the study: (1) How do faculty perceive STEM culture? (2) How do faculty describe the relationship between STEM culture and students' experiences? (3) What characteristics of STEM culture do faculty believe affect traditionally/historically excluded students' sense of belonging? The data shared in this article is derived from a larger study that used interviewers and group level assessment to explore STEM climate and culture at two white universities in a large city in the United States. Faculty represented in this study were in the Mathematics and Biomedical engineering departments. Findings demonstrated how faculty see STEM culture in colleges and universities, and its effect on traditionally excluded students and their sense of belonging. Faculty shared their experiences, opinions, and observations about how STEM culture creates barriers for students, such as a lack of representation, support, and sense of belonging. Moreover, faculty suggested strategies and approaches to promote a more inclusive environment for diverse students. This research full paper presents a systematic review exploring methods and pedagogical strategies utilized for digitally including adult education students through computer-assisted collaborative activities. Youth and adult education faces significant disparities along the globe, with low enrollment rates in many countries as highlighted in the UNESCO's 5th Global Report. Whenever we consider the 4th United Nations' Sustainable Development Goal for 2030, education aims for inclusion and lifelong learning opportunities. With the aim of investigating the literature about existing computer-assisted collaborative methods and strategies for digital inclusion of youth and adults, we conduct a systematic literature review on the theme. Findings reveal a scarcity of works tailored to adult education, especially in developing nations, even with the inclusion of Brazilian and South African knowledge repositories to broaden the scope. Collaboration emerges as a prevalent strategy, often alongside other methodologies. Notably, mobile devices are widely utilized due to their accessibility, and social networks and virtual learning environments play significant roles. However, the integration of computational thinking and artificial intelligence for digital inclusion is still in its infancy. Overall, digitally including adult learners is crucial for fostering inclusive education and enhancing opportunities for marginalized populations. © 2024 IEEE.

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are pivotal to the economy of many countries, including the United Kingdom. With the advent of digital technologies, the imperative of digital transformation has become increasingly salient for firms striving to retain competitiveness and relevance. However, SMEs lag behind larger organizations in adopting digital transformation, primarily due to the inadequacies of existing models tailored to the SME sector. Consequently, there is a palpable exigency for a pragmatic and tailored digital transformation framework specifically catered to SMEs operating in the UK. This research addresses this gap by proposing a practical digital transformation framework tailored to the unique characteristics and requirements of SMEs in the UK. Utilizing qualitative research methodologies within the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA model), existing research articles and digital transformation models have been meticulously evaluated to devise a novel framework. The resulting framework comprises six pivotal dimensions: strategy, organization, technology, innovation, culture, and change. It distinguishes itself by its adaptability, simplicity, and flexibility, allowing SMEs to tailor it according to their distinct business models and operational contexts. Despite the scarcity of literature on SME digital transformation in the UK, this research paper serves as a seminal contribution, addressing a critical gap and endowing SMEs with a pragmatic toolkit to navigate the complexities of digital transformation. © 2024 IEEE.

Battery-powered multi-copters have a high proportion of their total weight dedicated to batteries due to the low energy density of current battery technologies. Moreover, the battery weight remains constant regardless of its remaining capacity, necessitating high power requirements and significantly limiting flight time. This study proposes a theoretical framework for designing a new drone capable of extending endurance by separating and discarding used batteries, thereby gradually reducing weight during the mission. The developed model predicts the optimal number of batteries required for a given mission by integrating a weight prediction model based on battery capacity and a blade element momentum theory model that predicts the required power with respect to the variable weight. This study quantitatively compared the increased endurance achievable with the used battery separation technology. Applying this technology to quadcopters with total weights of 7 kg, 15 kg, and 25 kg resulted in expected endurance improvements of 127.3%, 121.0%, and 130.7%, respectively, compared to using a single battery. Additionally, considering the application of this technology to commercial drones, the study applied battery separation technology to the DJI Matrice 300 RTK, a widely used industrial drone. As a result, even with the use of two batteries, an endurance improvement of over 12.5% was achieved compared to the single battery condition. © 2024, International Council of the Aeronautical Sciences. Accurate trajectory prediction can enhance the operational efficiency of UAV swarms, ensure flight safety, optimize resource allocation, improve the swarm's response capabilities, and increase the autonomy of the UAV swarm. This study models the UAV swarm operation system based on the Olfati-Saber flocking dynamics. Through dynamic interactions within the system, an adaptive cooperative graph for the UAV swarm is established, integrating the prediction results from multiple cooperative nodes. On this basis, the mutual influences within the swarm are considered to make accurate predictions for individual UAV trajectories. Additionally, an online learning mechanism is introduced, enabling the model to adapt in real-time to changes in swarm states. Experimental results indicate that this model can effectively predict the flight trajectories of UAV swarms, significantly improving prediction accuracy compared to traditional prediction models. © 2024 IEEE.
