As the prevalence of Online Social Networks (OSNs) are created, it is apparent that questions related to ethics and privacy become more ambiguous and this paper aims at giving an overview on privacy concomitants and ethical concerns surrounding OSNs, with especial attention to the susceptibility of the user data, ethical dilemmas with regard to content regulating and the impact of policies and regulations. The proposed system provides the entry to establish the enhanced, sound, and fairly protected user privacy and ethical policies for OSNs with the help of boosted privacy-related settings, decentralised identity management, the utilisation of homomorphic encryption, and federated learning. It also underlines the need to have adaptive privacy dashboards, information accessibility real-time data, and other ethical measures keeping risks like cyberbullying and unauthorized usage of data checked. The study also examines new trends which have been occasioned by artificial intelligence in content moderation and the legal development aspect of it. As much as this survey focuses on current practices and asks questions in support of proactive measures, it seeks to enlighten policy makers on the best practices to engage in and create awareness to positive handling of user data in OSNs for the safety of users, as well as promoting ethical usage of the social networking systems. © 2025 IEEE.

In this project, we focused on the stability analysis of grid when it is connected to wind farm with converter. To assess the dynamic behavior of the system, both frequency domain and time domain analyses were employed. In the frequency domain analysis, Nyquist plots and Bode plots have been analyzed and finally, Nyquist plots were preferred to Bode plots because Nyquist plots are suitable for systems with poles or zeros in the right half-plane and provide a comprehensive view of the system's stability characteristics across the entire frequency range. By observing the Nyquist plots, we evaluated whether the system encircled the (-1,0) point to determine the stability of the closed-loop system. In the time domain analysis, we examined the system's response to initial conditions or external disturbances, and the transient and steady-state behavior of current and voltage waveforms further verified the conclusions of the frequency domain analysis. Bode plots are less effective for non-minimum phase systems and systems with multiple feedback loops, where Nyquist plots provide a clearer, consolidated analysis by combining magnitude and phase information. © 2025 IEEE.

If adversaries were to obtain quantum computers in the future, their massive computing power would likely break existing security schemes. Since security is a continuous process, more substantial security schemes must be developed. Current PQC schemes primarily focus on data security or key exchange, and further improvement towards enhanced PQC primitives is required. Our proposal in this research is an innovative paradigm for PQC-focused cloud data security. The proposed HEDT approach achieves encryption and decryption with significantly lower latency (20% improvement) and higher reliability than AES, DES, and RSA, as demonstrated through experimental results. Furthermore, ECSIDH, a hybrid key exchange mechanism combining SIDH and ECDH, improves security strength by 50% while maintaining computational costs within 1.13x of SIDH. Compared to individual key exchange schemes like SIDH, ECSIDH offers superior security as a PQC candidate. These results confirm the robustness and efficiency of the proposed framework in ensuring secure data outsourcing and key exchange in cloud environments. © 2025 Slovene Society Informatika. Globally, heart disease is the major ingredient of mortality. Heart attacks are frequently caused by Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) due to the unavailability of the oxygenated blood to the heart muscles. Medical professionals find it challenging to forecast since it demands experiences and a deeper level of predictive knowledge. The healthcare industry has a wealth of information, but it not only lacks understandability of the data, but also has insufficient tools for analyzing the data to find the hidden patterns. Automated Electrocardiogram (ECG) analysis may prove to be a beneficial tool in smart healthcare systems. An automated diagnosis method based on machine learning offers a dependable, cost-effective, and efficient means of detecting cardiac disease. It requires a huge number of data which is hard to be analyzed and interpreted by traditional techniques. The intention is to identify an appropriate interpretable automated method for heart disease prediction with maximum accuracy and efficiency. © 2025 IEEE.

This paper introduces a Smart Hand Mobility As-sistive Device designed to aid individuals with impaired hand function due to conditions such as stroke, spinal cord injuries, and neuromuscular disorders. The device enhances daily activities and provides comprehensive rehabilitation support. Leveraging advanced sensor technology, real-time data processing, and adaptive actuation, it detects and amplifies subtle finger movements, facilitating precise hand motions. Unlike conventional methods that are often slow and lack real-time feedback, the proposed design solution offers immediate functional assistance and pro-gressive rehabilitative training. The device integrates seamlessly with a user-centric mobile application offering predefined phys-iotherapy exercises tailored to individual needs. Additionally, the application includes interactive games that engage users in therapeutic activities to improve motor skills and cognitive functions. Experimental evaluations assess the device's efficacy in enhancing grip strength, dexterity, and overall hand function. The system also features multiple control modes, allowing users to select from manual assistance, cyclic movement training, or task-specific routines. Through this approach, our device aspires to significantly elevate the quality of life for individuals with hand mobility impairments, positioning itself as a transformative tool in assistive technology and rehabilitative care. © 2025 IEEE.

RDMA is a technology that enables extremely fast communication between different systems by allowing these systems to transfer data without using the CPU and operating system. This results in the rapid transfer of data and reduces latency in data transfer. RDMA, brings more efficiency in moving the data between systems, improving general performance and responsiveness in many applications as CPU is not involved in the data transfer. Traditional RDMA solutions usually require special and costly hardware, such as RoCE adapters. This can make them less accessible for companies with lesser budgets. Soft-RoCE is a software-based solution that brings RDMA capabilities to standard Ethernet hardware. In this way, we can replicate the benefits that RDMA offers without the expensive equipment, hence making it possible in environments where it would not have been feasible. Also, an innovative monitoring framework using eBPF is introduced, which offers comprehensive real-time intelligence to RDMA performance by decreasing the latency and throughput. © 2025 IEEE.

Agricultural sector is increasingly adopting advanced technologies to enhance crop productivity and sustainability. Precision agriculture leverages IoT devices, sensors, and data analytics to monitor and manage various environmental parameters, addressing challenges such as global food demand, climate change, and resource optimization. Previous research has demonstrated the efficacy of wireless sensor networks (WSNs) and remote sensing technologies in improving irrigation efficiency and early disease detection. However, these systems often assume that all components continue to operate, thereby offering an incomplete view. This study presents an advanced agricultural monitoring system referred to as Agri-Guard that integrates a wide array of sensors to measure temperature, humidity, soil moisture, and gases like CO2, methane and ammonia. By utilizing an ESP8266 microcontroller and IoT connectivity, the system ensures seamless data transmission and real-time processing. Additionally, a centralized hub, equipped with a Raspberry Pi 5 and a thermal camera, enhances the detection of crop anomalies, and an inoperative sensor hub. The sensor hub in the form of a cone is optimally designed to detect environmental parameters besides being rainproof. The proposed Agri-Gaurd setup clearly demonstrated the lack of manure and water from the sensors’ data, whereas thermal imaging showcased the classification of 92.7% between a dead and alive plant. The anomaly between an operating and non-operating Agri-cone was found to be in complete agreement (100%). The proposed system represents a significant improvement over existing solutions, empowering farmers with precise data and faulty hub detection, leading to quick recovery and more sustainable farming practices. Blockchain is considered one of the most innovative technologies and applied across various fields with applications in, for example, education, business, and many more. First introduced as the technology that underlies Bitcoin, blockchain has since evolved to an important means of safekeeping digital information without involving intermediaries. With growing popularity among businesses, there are rising concerns about environmental impacts, particularly energy usage. Blockchain is known for extremely high energy consumption because of the agreement methodologies applied, specifically Proof of Work(PoW). The paper addresses blockchain technology, namely the various algorithms generated and their influence on the environment. In this paper a novel approach for generating and optimizing regular expressions for genetic sequences is presented. The proposed technique introduces a systematic process to create initial regular expressions, compress and optimize them, and validate their accuracy for sequence matching. The method ensures a precise and reliable match with the given sequences while reducing complexity through an efficient optimization process. The proposed approach is versatile, being applicable to DNA, RNA, protein sequences, or any formal language processing. The method has been tested using a set of sequences with lengths ranging from 64 to 512 characters, with 50-100 pseudo-random generated sequence pairs and 5-10 % mutations for each case. Although the regular expression optimization process consumes slightly more time compared to conventional methods, it significantly reduces the overall matching time. Additionally, the optimized regular expressions show a reduction in memory usage. The results demonstrate that the proposed approach is highly effective for Motif Discovery and Representation, Pattern Matching Algorithms, Comparative Genomics and Phylogenetic and Gene Regulation, and Promoter Analysis, making it suitable for applications in bioinformatics and computational linguistics. © 2025 IEEE.

This paper proposed an active power decoupling method using a Dual Active Bridge (DAB) converter to minimize the energy buffer in single-phase AC-DC converter applications. Single-phase converters commonly require bulky electrolytic capacitors due to their power pulsation at twice the grid frequency. However, the electrolytic capacitor often decreases the power density and lifetime of the power converter. Active power decoupling is one of the solutions to this problem by using a firm or ceramic capacitor as the energy buffer. However, the additional circuit decreases the conversion efficiency and power *** paper proposes the active power decoupling method using a DAB converter without additional components. The Proposed method applies the feed-forward control to determine the phase shift angle for the power decoupling capability. In addition, the ZVS condition with the proposed method is considered to clarify the design of the small DC-link capacitor. The validity of the proposed method is demonstrated by the experimental result. As the experimental result, it was confirmed that the second harmonic component of the output voltage was reduced by 91.2%. © 2025 IEEE.
