Optimization is essential in every sector such as engineering design, economics, mathematics, physics, even in day to day activities such as holiday planning, internet usage/routing optimization is required. As resources such as money, resources and time are crucial and limited those needs to be used optimally always. This paper explains concept of optimization and classification of various optimization approaches, later it extends to meta-heuristic optimization algorithms, gives brief explanation about different swarm- based optimization algorithms. Optimization algorithms can be classified by many ways based on focus of algorithm utilization and characteristics. Metaheuristic approach mimics natural phenomena where nature is used as source of inspiration. This paper gives brief about all classifications of metaheuristic algorithms such as Evolutionary algorithms, swarm intelligence, differential evolution and hunting search algorithm which is the main focus of this paper. This paper explains Grey Wolf Optimization (GWO) in comparison of all other metaheuristic algorithms. © 2019 IEEE.

A coding theorem consists of two parts: achievability and converse which establish lower and upper bounds on the capacity. This paper analyzes these bounds from a fundamental, algorithmic point of view by studying whether or not such bounds can be computed algorithmically in principle (without putting any constraints on the computational complexity of such algorithms). For this purpose, the concept of Turing machines is used which provides the fundamental performance limits of digital computers. To this end, computable continuous functions are studied and properties of computable sequences of such functions are identified. Subsequently, these findings are exemplarily applied to two different open problems. The first one is the ϵ-capacity of compound channels which is unknown to date. It is studied whether or not the ϵ-capacity can be algorithmically computed and it is shown that there is no computable characterization of the difference between computable upper and lower bounds possible. Thus, computable sharp lower and upper bounds on the ϵ-capacity of computable compound channels cannot exist. The crucial consequence is that the ϵ-capacity cannot be characterized by a finite-letter entropic expression. The second application involves asymptotic bounds for error-correcting codes which is a long-standing open problem in coding theory. Only lower and upper bounds are known which are not sharp. It is conjectured that the asymptotic bound is indeed a non-computable function which would then imply with the previous findings that it is impossible to find computable lower and upper bounds that are asymptotically tight. © 2020 IEEE.

Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) has low power consumption, low cost, faster connection speed, and is extremely easy to deploy. The Beacon function in BLE is the basis for providing indoor positioning. Also, most of today's smart devices have Bluetooth, and all support Bluetooth 4.0 or higher, so BLE is very suitable for indoor positioning of smart devices. In addition to being able to be used for indoor positioning, the Beacon actively broadcasts its Beacon signaling regularly. Such a function can be used for advertising promotion in a designated area. Further, if a Beacon message contains the Uniform Resource Locator (URL) represents an Internet of Things (IoT) device, such a device can be called Web IoT device. It can be seen from the above that BLE's indoor positioning system can not only achieve positioning but also expand the characteristics to provide more diverse application services so that the positioning system has better value. Therefore, this paper takes the shopping mall as an example to implement the application service of integrating the Web IoT and BLE indoor positioning system to provide consumers with more application services, including indoor positioning, advertising push, and Coupon collection and use, Web IoT device display and trial and so on. © 2019 IEEE.

This paper presents a biquad filter, capable of realizing two responses in voltage mode i.e. low pass (LP) and band Pass (BP). The circuit uses only single input in voltage mode applied at high impedance port and simultaneously realizes both responses. Moreover, it uses only single DVCCTA as active element and four grounded passive elements (two capacitors and two resistors). In addition, it also shows low sensitivity of filter parameters, tuning capability, low power consumption, etc. The theoretical aspect is proven by simulating the circuit in PSICE using 180 nm CMOS parameters. © 2020 IEEE.

Cancer is the most frequent life-threatening disease which has the highest mortality rate throughout the world. Diagnosis of cancer at the early stage can plays a critical role for its effective and successful treatment. Traditional diagnostic methods for cancer screening are costly, time-consuming, and not practical for repeated screenings. However, a biomarker-based cancer diagnosis is emerging as one of the most promising strategies for early diagnosis, monitoring disease progression, and subsequent cancer treatment. Content-driven Music Recommendation: Evolution, State of the Art, and Challenges

The music domain is among the most important ones for adopting recommender systems technology. In contrast to most other recommendation domains, which predominantly rely on collaborative filtering (CF) techniques, music recommenders have traditionally embraced content-based (CB) approaches. In the past years, music recommendation models that leverage collaborative and content data-which we refer to as content-driven models-have been replacing pure CF or CB models. In this survey, we review 55 articles on content-driven music recommendation. Based on a thorough literature analysis, we first propose an onion model comprising five layers, each of which corresponds to a category of music content we identified: signal, embedded metadata, expert-generated content, user-generated content, and derivative content. We provide a detailed characterization of each category along several dimensions. Second, we identify six overarching challenges, according to which we organize our main discussion: increasing recommendation diversity and novelty, providing transparency and explanations, accomplishing context-awareness, recommending sequences of music, improving scalability and efficiency, and alleviating cold start. Each article addresses one or more of these challenges is categorized according to the content layers of our onion model, the article's goal(s), and main methodological choices. Furthermore, articles are discussed in temporal order to shed light on the evolution of content-driven music recommendation strategies. Finally, we provide our personal selection of the persisting grand challenges which are still waiting to be solved in future research endeavors. © 2021, CC BY.

Many service-related tasks can now be completed swiftly and efficiently thanks to advancements in mobile communications. Mobile banking is one such solution that has eliminated the requirement for many ordinary transactions to be completed at a branch. Mobile phones can supplement the reach in a country like India, where the last mile is reached through brick-and-mortar banking facilities. This paper explains how a mobile cloud framework can be used for banking and customer services to improve the customer's banking experience while also assuring data security. This article focuses on cloud-based risk design for banking products to address challenges such as processing speed and storage capacity in mobile banking. The system is evaluated using an improved random forecast technique. This proposed system fulfils 99% of the accuracy. © 2021 IEEE.

This paper investigates a formulation of the guided eigenmode fields propagating in straight photonic crystal waveguides formed by multilayered periodic arrays of circular cylinders. The formulation is based on the multilayer method and the recursive transition-matrix algorithm with lattice sums technique, and know to provide accurate results in very short computation time. The formulation assumes that homogeneous regions exist between the periodic cylinder arrays, the applicability for the overlapped structures is not clear. © 2019 IEEE.

In contrast to traditional online videos, live multi-streaming supports real-time social interactions between multiple streamers and viewers, such as donations. However, donation and multi-streaming channel recommendations are challenging due to complicated streamer and viewer relations, asymmetric communications, and the tradeoff between personal interests and group interactions. In this paper, we introduce Multi-Stream Party (MSP) and formulate a new multi-streaming recommendation problem, called Donation and MSP Recommendation (DAMRec). We propose Multi-stream Party Recommender System (MARS) to extract latent features via socio-temporal coupled donation-response tensor factorization for donation and MSP recommendations. Experimental results on Twitch and Douyu manifest that MARS significantly outperforms existing recommenders by at least 38.8% in terms of hit ratio and mean average precision.
