Efforts have been cumulated to measure tooth mobility, in order to accurately characterize the mechanical Features of periodontal tissues. This paper provides a totally neu;technique for accomplishing the task of measuring tooth displacement in 6 degrees of freedom, using a range finder. Its intraoral equipment comprises two elements, a moving polyhedron and a referential device, both of which are secured to a subject tooth and several other teeth splinted together. The polyhedron has 6 planar surfaces, each oriented in a distinctly different direction, with each plane facing an opposing range Ender mounted on the referential part. If the sensor geometry is provided. the position and orientation of the movable part. vis-a-vis the reference, can be determined theoretically from the distances between all the range finders and their opposing surfaces. This computation was mathematically formulated as a non-linear optimization problem, the numerical solution of which can be obtained iteratively. Its error-propagation formula was also provided asa linear approximation.

This paper proposes a new methodology to optimize trajectory of the path for multi-robots using improved gravitational search algorithm (IGSA) in a dynamic environment. GSA is improved based on memory information, social, cognitive factor of PSO (particle swarm optimization) and then, population for next generation is decided by the greedy strategy. A path planning scheme has been developed using IGSA to optimally obtain the succeeding positions of the robots from the existing position. Finally, the analytical and experimental results of the multi-robot path planning have been compared with those obtained by IGSA, GSA and PSO in a similar environment. The simulation and the Khepera environmental results outperform IGSA as compared to GSA and PSO with respect to performance matrix.

The vast array of cloud providers present in today’s market proffer a suite of High-Performance Computing (HPC) services. However, these offerings are characterized by significant variations in execution times and cost structures. Consequently, selecting the optimal cloud provider and configuring the features of the chosen computing instance (e.g. virtual machines) proves to be a challenging task for users intending to execute HPC workloads. This paper introduces a novel component designed for effortless integration with existing HPC scheduling systems. This module’s primary function is to facilitate the selection of the most appropriate cloud provider for each distinct job, thereby empowering dynamic and adaptive cost-minimization strategies. Through the application of data augmentation techniques and the employment of Continuous Machine Learning, the system is endowed with the capability to operate efficiently with cloud providers that have not been previously utilized. Furthermore, it is capable of tracking the evolution of jobs over time. Our results show that this component can achieve consistent economic savings, based on the quality of the data used in the training phase.
