Customer reviews on online platforms have grown to become an important source of insight into a company's performance. Food delivery services (FDS) companies aim to effectively use customers' feedback to identify areas for improvement of customer satisfaction. Although Arabic is becoming one of the most widely used languages on the Internet, only a few studies have focused on Arabic sentiment analysis to date. The present study conducts an extensive emotion mining and sentiment analysis on FDS-related reviews in Arabic, exploiting natural language processing, and machine learning techniques to extract information that reflects customers' subjective viewpoints, recognize their feelings, and determine polarity in the FDS domain. This work begins with collecting the FDS dataset (Talabat), and then extracting and creating a dialects lexicon for Arabic dialects, followed by walking the reader through detailed steps of cleaning and pre-processing a manually annotated dataset. Finally, we examined classification algorithms including Decision Tree (DT), and Support Vector Machine (SVM). We achieved a maximum accuracy of about 82% using the SVM classifier. © 2023 IEEE.

Accurate estimation of agricultural crop acreage is crucial for effective planning, resource management, and policymaking. In recent years, satellite remote sensing technologies like OPTISAR have become valuable tools for mapping and monitoring agricultural fields. This paper provides a comprehensive review of various machine learning techniques, particularly Random Forest and Hierarchical Decision Rule Classification, employed for the acreage estimation of Rabi pulses and Kharif onions using OPTISAR observations. Random Forest, as an ensemble learning method, has gained popularity due to its robustness in handling high-dimensional data, while Hierarchical Decision Rule Classification offers a structured approach for decision-making through layered rules. The review analyses the performance, accuracy, and limitations of these methods, highlighting their roles in addressing challenges such as mixed cropping patterns, varied phenological stages, and spectral variability in satellite data. The findings suggest that the integration of machine learning techniques with remote sensing data holds significant potential for improving agricultural monitoring and decision-making processes. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper we promote a general formulation of active learning (AL), wherein the typically binary decision to annotate a point or not is extended to selecting the qualities with which the points should be annotated. By linking the annotation quality to the cost of acquiring the label, we can trade a lower quality for a larger set of training samples, which may improve learning for the same annotation cost. To investigate this AL formulation, we introduce a concrete criterion, based on the mutual information (MI) between model parameters and noisy labels, for selecting annotation qualities for the entire dataset, before any labels are acquired. We illustrate the usefulness of our formulation with examples for both classification and regression and find that MI is a good candidate for a criterion, but its complexity limits its usefulness. © 2023 IEEE.

The purposes of this research are to investigate the information needed to cognize the AR environment using Reaching and Obstacle Striding to identify the differences in Ecological Cognition between the real and the AR environments. Two experiments were conducted to verify the Ecological Cognition acquired in real and Augmented Reality (AR) environments. The first experiment was compared Reaching in each environment using head-mounted displays (HMD) of optical see-through and video see-through. There were no significant differences on Reaching in each environment, and the results indicate that comparable cognition would have been obtained. However, it should be noted that the user's cognition when wearing the HMD which is video-see-through, is as if the user's view of the real is forward from the actual position by the amount of the space. Another experiment investigated how much the foot is lifted up when getting over an obstacle. The higher the obstacle, the lower the foot height to obstacle ratio. A comparison of the same height between the real and the AR environments showed that in the case of the AR environment, lifted up the foot was higher for only lower obstacles. Possible factors include the lack of sufficient information for cognitive judgment and the viewing angle of the device. © 2023 IEEE.

The proliferation of educational content on platforms like YouTube has transformed digital learning, yet it presents challenges in effective creation, dissemination, and impact assessment. This paper proposes a strategic initiative to collaborate with 6,000 active educational YouTubers to enhance global educational outreach. Central to this initiative is the compilation and analysis of a comprehensive dataset containing vital information about content creators and their audiences. Leveraging advanced machine learning algorithms, the analysis aims to identify collaboration opportunities, optimize engagement strategies, enhance content relevance and impact, facilitate knowledge sharing, and measure outcomes. The problem statement highlights fragmentation in educational content, lack of data-driven insights, and suboptimal collaboration opportunities. In this paper, we present the model reference adaptive system (MRAS)-based self-tuning speed control method for permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) with a variety of load torque. To do this, the dynamic model of the PMSM is firstly formulated in a d-q reference frame linked with the rotor. Next, the self-tuning propositional-integral (PI) speed control is proposed for regulating the rotor speed of PMSM. While self-tuning PI speed control strategy enhances the performance of PMSM with a complete model-free approach. The electrical angle and rotor speed are effectively estimated by the MRAS-based control strategy. Then, the stable self-tuning method is used to update the control gains to enhance the ability of speed control performance in PMSM. Finally, the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed control techniques is demonstrated through some simulations using mahematical PMSM model. © 2022 Korean Institute of Electrical Engineers. A low frequencies filter of the second order on switched capacitors has been developed and studied, the distinctive feature of which is three-phase control of three electronic keys. In the proposed circuit, this allows, at constant parameters of the frequency-setting capacitors and a fixed switching frequency of electronic keys, to control the frequency of the filter pole by changing the ratio of the resistances of resistors in the general feedback circuit. The basic equations for the filter transmission coefficients at zero frequency and at the pole frequency are given, as well as formulas for calculating the pole frequency and pole attenuation at the second order. A simulation of the filter was made in the Micro-Cap environment, which shows that the considered circuit solution performs the functions of a low-pass filter. Considered filter on switched capacitors can be used to create new adaptive measuring systems and analog-digital signal processing devices. © 2024 IEEE.

Cyber-attacks that deceive people in various ways, such as phishing scams that exploit personal information by pretending to be a real service, are gaining momentum. Scam email sometimes includes important keywords that are cleverly used to deceive people, but not always. This study focused on the modality representation contained in scam emails that make people uneasy and defined order pair of modality representation of 100 dimensions. Furthermore, we applied a dimensionality reduction algorithm to verify the accuracy of unsupervised learning of scam and normal em ails. © 2023 IEEE.

Patients with diabetes are more likely to be readmitted to the hospital than those who are nondiabetic. The earlier patients with a strong probability of readmission are monitored and cared for, the better. The goal of this research is to develop a decision - making framework that can identify diabetes patients who are at risk of early readmission. Many data analysis approaches have been employed to perform this. Computer vision is used to create a novel model in this study. Individuals at high risk of complications to be readmitted are prioritized in the early stages, which in turn reduces healthcare costs and improves the reputation of the hospital, thus enhancing the health service and saving money. Predictions made using machine learning are more accurate than those made using traditional methods. In this study, patients' hospital readmissions may be predicted by utilizing a standard scaler, a decision tree, and random forests for classification, CATboost for categorical features, and XGBoost classifiers. When applied to real-world data, a machine learning method that incorporates deep learning technique has outperformed the other methods. As a response to a number of modules, including extracting features, the analysis has been enhanced and a more useful framework has been created. © 2023 IEEE.

This study aims to explore the potential of a reconstructive approach in detecting and analyzing hemiplegia in human walking motion using a musculoskeletal model. Hemiplegia, a neurological disorder characterized by partial paralysis of one side of the body, is a common complication of stroke that can significantly impact its victim's mobility and overall quality of life [10]. We employed a combination of surface electromyography (sEMG) and motion capture data collection techniques to study healthy individuals' muscle activation and kinematics both in normal conditions and while wearing a hemiplegia simulator. The collected data were analyzed using a non-negative matrix factorization (NMF) algorithm to decompose the muscle acti-vation into distinct muscle synergies and associated weights. We then compared the number of muscle synergies used between the healthy and simulated hemiplegia conditions to identify changes in muscle coordination patterns. Using the information obtained from the comparison, an attempt was made to construct the synergies of the hemiplegia gait from the synergies of the healthy gait by adjusting the weights. The results of this study suggest that a reconstructive approach is a feasible tool for detecting and analyzing hemi-plegia in a human walking motion. Furthermore, this study provides a framework for understanding the underlying muscle coordination patterns in hemiplegia and can serve as a basis for developing new rehabilitation strategies. This study is expected to contribute to the advancement of research in this field by providing insights into the neural control of human walking motion. © 2023 IEEE.
