The aim of this paper is to present various types of research on reducing emissions in the flue gases produced by low-power biomass boilers, especially when the boilers operate outside their nominal operating regime. This long-term investigation program is being carried out on a pilot boiler in the university laboratories. The program involves acquiring additional instrumentation for performing and evaluating present and future experiments, creating various types of models of the boiler for designing and testing the control algorithms using available data, and implementing and evaluating the algorithms in real operation. The pilot device enables us to experiment using non-standard instrumentation, but throughout our research it is necessary to strike a balance between ecological policy requirements and economic considerations.

In this paper, we propose the novel emotional engine like human's emotion and its parameter tuning using by hybrid system bacterial foraging (BF) and agent machine learning. The most general method uses neural networks to classify emotion by using speech and face image data for human's emotion recognition. But high-dimension and large size of this data cause low-speed learning of neural network. The main idea of the proposed method is to suggest emotion engine and to express emotion by hybrid system composed of bacterial foraging and multi-agent system. Experimental result shows that this method can achieve better performance for human's emotion recognition than others and express emotion.

Due to increased terrors and crimes, the use of the surveillance system like CCTV is increasing. The surveillance system has been operated for public interest such as prevention of crimes and fly-tipping by the police and local government. However private information such as faces or behavior patterns can be recorded in CCTV, it may cause the invasion of privacy. This paper analyses conventional methods of privacy protection in surveillance camera systems. We propose a video surveillance system that satisfies both privacy protection and surveillance. The proposed system uses the RFID to recognize the human and uses the scrambling to prevent invasion of privacy. Note that the proposed system can reduce invasion of privacy by intensity of scrambling according to access levels. It is able to exactly offer internal or external personnel information of objects to the surveillance. Based on the experimental results, we confirm that the proposed system can be privacy protection and the surveillance.

This paper presents a current-mode control non-inverting buck-boost converter. The proposed circuit is controlled by the current mode and operated in three operation modes which are buck, buck-boost, and boost mode. The operation mode is automatically determined by the ratio between the input and output voltages. The proposed circuit is simulated by HSPICE with 0.5 ¿m standard CMOS parameters. Its input voltage range is 2.5-5 V, and the output voltage range is 1.5-5 V. The maximum efficiency is 92% when it operates in buck mode.

The Picture Archiving and Communication System(PACS)was introduced for computerization of the medical system and telediagnosis between the hospital. It is becoming possible to create, store, and transmit medical images via PACS. There has been a growing interest in protecting medical images with an enormous amount of information. To improve transmission speed among the hospitals, the medical image should be compression JPEG 2000 by high compression ratio. This paper proposes an algorithM that utilizes both JPEG 2000 and robust watermarking for protection and compression of the medical image. With the proposed algorithm, it takes considerably less time to do JPEG 2000 and watermarking than when they are done separately. Based on the experiment results, it takes 0.72 second for the proposed algorithm and 1.11 second when they are done separately. We confirmed that the proposed algorithM was faster than when they are done separately.
