Facial skin disorders are common health problems affecting a person's quality of life. While diagnosing facial skin disorders usually requires a direct visual examination by a dermatologist, non-visual information can sometimes help the diagnosis process. Currently, facial skin disorders such as acne and hyperpigmentation are the dominant disorders that are most often the problem of every patient who visits the clinic for treatment, according to experts. This study aims to apply an ANN (Artificial Neural Networks) model that can predict facial skin disorders using non-visual data. Age, gender, skin type, family history, symptoms, and risk factors are non-visual data used to train the ANN model. A method used to accurately predict various facial skin disorders using non-visual information integrated into an ANN model. Feature selection, model building, training, validation, and model performance evaluation enable the identification of facial skin disorders based on non-visual information. The results show that ANN technology and non-visual information can offer overall diagnosis efficiency to predict facial skin disorders. Furthermore, the accuracy obtained based on non-visual data is 100%. © 2024 IEEE.

With the rapid development of technology, the use of social media by the public, especially among young people, is increasing. One of the social media platforms currently used by young people is the TikTok application. It is a video-based TikTok feature accompanied by music, writing, and pictures that are considered attractive, so teenagers like it to show their existence and self-disclosure. Therefore, this study aims to examine the intention of users to disclose their privacy. As the basis of the theory, this study deployed the privacy calculus theory, where the perceived benefits and perceived risks play crucial roles in the intention to disclose their privacy. The study successfully collected 369 responses. The empirical findings indicated that only the relationship between Perceived Personalization (PP) and Perceived Risk (PR) was not supported. However, all the remaining hypotheses were supported. These findings emphasize how several complicated variables influence social media users' intentions to disclose their privacy. When people feel in control of their privacy settings and see significant benefits, they are more likely to divulge personal information;nevertheless, perceived risks can greatly discourage users. © 2024 IEEE.

Centralized systems that require third parties remain opaque and represent a single point of failure. Therefore, in accordance with the requirements of cloud services and identity management mechanisms, it is necessary to move towards more transparent and collaborative methods. That is, all service providers under the same federation deal positively with the issued identity of the user. The distributed format gives good potential for ID management systems and treats everyone with the same level of validity. This paper presents a blockchain-based identity management system for the purpose of creating a federated identity management system that is used by multiple organizations by Taking advantage of decentralization and high transparency in the blockchain. Several vital advantages of blockchain are positive for forming identity management systems characterized by transparency and high security, and privacy. Implementing the proposed system on a private Hyperledger Fabric blockchain network proved effective according to the criteria studied, and there is also great potential for improvement. The practical application of the proposed system proved high quality and promising possibilities in blockchain based identity management. © 2023 IEEE.

In emotion recognition, the requirement for authenticity and real-time of the medium under study has always been a primary consideration. Thus electroencephalogram (EEG) is most suitable as the primary medium for emotion recognition research. However, there needs to be more high-quality training data for building EEG-based emotion recognition models through machine learning or deep learning methods, and manual generation of high-quality data is an effective way to overcome this problem. Generative adversarial networks (GAN) have recently succeeded in generative applications involving images. They are beginning to be applied to EEG data enhancement, so this paper generates high-quality artificial data through generative adversarial networks. © 2023 IEEE.

In response to the increasingly complex fault location problem caused by more and more access of distributed power sources to distribution networks, this paper proposes a fault location method based on the distribution characteristic of fault zero-sequence voltage. This method only requires the position of detection points and the zero-sequence voltage information at these points to construct reliable functions for the upstream and downstream sections. The fault location can be determined by the intersection point of these two reliable functions. This method has a simple principle, is economically practical, does not require the addition of extra equipment, and is adaptable to networks with distributed power sources. © 2023 IEEE.

Dynamic adaptive streaming over HTTP can adaptively select the most appropriate video bitrate for video users. Mobile edge computing (MEC) can effectively improve video quality by providing computing and storage capabilities. In order to improve the quality of video user experience, a QoE-driven DASH optimization scheme is proposed, which includes an adaptive bitrate algorithm deployed on video clients and a video caching strategy deployed on edge servers. First of all, we propose an adaptive bitrate algorithm that can cyclically accumulate or consume video buffer to intermittently increase video bitrate. Besides, we design a video caching and replacement strategy that works on edge servers, which treats the video blocks instead of complete videos as the basic storage unit of edge servers. The simulation results show that the proposed adaptive bitrate algorithm can effectively improve the average video bitrate and the smoothness of video playback. The proposed video caching strategy can effectively improve the cache hit rate of edge servers and reduce the average request response delay, significantly improving the quality of user experience. © 2023 IEEE.

Microgrids, as self-contained energy systems, possess great potential in facilitating renewable energy consumption and optimizing energy structures. This paper introduces a model for energy dispatch in microgrids that incorporates demand-side response, utilizing a sigmoid continuum and the chaotic seagull optimization algorithm (SCCSOA). The objective is to tackle the multi-constrained and non-linear operational characteristics of microgrids. The enhanced algorithm leverages a chaotic sequence to initialize the seagull population, while employing the sigmoid function to guide the seagull search process. This approach significantly improves the algorithm's global search capability. Furthermore, a golden sine mechanism is introduced to enhance the local search efficiency in the later stages of the algorithm. The effectiveness of the improved algorithm in microgrid systems is verified through arithmetic simulations that analyze optimization results for different scheduling strategies, thus demonstrating its adaptability. © 2023 IEEE.

The widespread application of distributed generator (DG) in distribution networks can improve the quality of electrical energy and ensure the stability of power supply, but at the same time, it raises the electricity network's complexity and fault rate, which has a significant impact on the power network's ability to operate safely, reliably, and effectively. Consequently, in order to assure the safety, dependable, and effective functioning of distribution network systems, it is crucial to minimize the hazards that DG pose to their operation. To successfully use DG to address the issue of single-phase ground fault location in distribution networks, this paper elucidates the transient energy and the polarity value comparison fault location method, proposes a distribution network fault location method based on fusion of transient energy and polarity value comparison. © 2023 IEEE.

Watermarking and Steganography are methods of embedding digital information within images or other media, such as text or audio, for the purpose of Copyright Protection or covert communication. This field of study is not recent and has been ongoing for several years, culminating in its current advanced stage. The utilization of Artificial Intelligence algorithms has played a pivotal role in revolutionizing various aspects, including security concerns and the precision of outcomes, as compared to traditional methods. This paper focuses on doing an in-dept. analysis of cutting-edge research, techniques, and methodologies employed in the domain of Watermarking and Steganography, specifically in conjunction with Artificial Intelligence. By thoroughly examining and evaluating a collection of recent studies in this domain, we have scrutinized the outcomes of each study with respect to its research goal, the acquired results, the employed algorithm, and the research's robustness in terms of susceptibility to various forms of attacks and the technique of data embedding. Our findings indicate that the use of Artificial Intelligence algorithms has a substantial influence on enhancing result precision, system resilience, and establishing data ownership. Deep Neural Networks (DNN) are essential in Watermarking and Steganography due to their robustness, effectiveness, and accuracy. Novel methodologies and systems improve security, incorporation rates, precision of detection, and speed of convergence. Deep learning is being investigated in techniques such as data concealment, information hiding, and steganography to improve security. © 2024 IEEE.

A car-like robot with an Ackermann steering system is a type of nonholonomic which is characterised by a set of first-order differential constraints on its configuration variables, which are not integrable. This distinctive characteristic gives rise to complex issues in the construction of feedback controllers. This research proposes reactive control using a feedback controller using PID algorithm for a car-like robot navigation. The proposed method controls the steering angle of the car-like robot to follow the prescribed path with a constant longitudinal robot velocity. The open-loop car-like dynamical system has been formulated in the form of state-space model. Two PID controllers in parallel computed the lateral position error and the yaw angle error. The summation of the two outputs from the PID controllers was inputted into the state-space model. The PID controller parameters were selected based on trial and error. The simulation results confirm the effectiveness of the proposed control algorithm. © 2024 IEEE.
