Blockchain technology's decentralized and transparent transaction platforms have changed a number of sectors. However, harmful activities like fraud and money laundering are also drawn to blockchain due to its distributed and unchangeable nature. The distinctive features of blockchain transactions frequently prove to be too much for conventional fraud detection techniques to handle. In order to identify fraud in blockchain transactions, this work suggests "Secure Sentinel,"a machine learning-based method based on the Isolation Forest concept. By separating anomalies in a binary tree structure, the Isolation Forest algorithm is highly effective in detecting abnormalities inside datasets. By utilizing this approach, our system is able to identify transactions on the blockchain that are suspicious or stray from the norm. The Isolation Forest model will be trained using attributes such transaction amount, frequency, source/destination addresses, and transaction time. The project's goal is to improve blockchain networks' security and integrity by offering a real-time fraud detection system. Users, miners, and regulators are among the blockchain stakeholders who can take proactive steps to reduce risks and preserve system confidence by automatically identifying potentially fraudulent transactions. We will use past blockchain data to test our model's performance and determine how well it detects different kinds of fraudulent activity in terms of accuracy, precision, recall, and efficiency. By using machine learning to protect blockchain ecosystems from new dangers, Secure Sentinel is a step in the right direction toward advancing the acceptance and sustainability of blockchain technology. © 2024 IEEE.

Clouds are highly customizable infrastructures that offer a platform as a service and let customers subscribe on a pay-as-you-go basis to their requirements. The straightforward service-oriented cloud computing model is gaining popularity around the world. The number of people using the Cloud is constantly growing. Clouds use modern data centers to manage a massive number of users. The reliability of the Cloud depends on load balancing. Balancing virtual machine loads lowers energy consumption and task rejections by optimizing resource utilization. One can increase performance while using fewer resources using load balancing, resource management, quality of service, etc. The difficulty of overloading and underloading virtual machines in cloud computing can be lessened by load balancing in the *** research study thoroughly examined the load-balancing algorithms found in the literature. First, the traditional approaches are analyzed before moving on to more recent work on load balancing with heterogeneous techniques. Along with the tools available for the current investigation, various metrics are used to evaluate the load-balancing algorithms. The proposed article will primarily serve to assist in the development of new algorithms in the future. © 2023 IEEE.

Underground coal mines are harsh in the working environment, which leads to more causality. Therefore, modern mines are using sensor networks to monitor the mines regularly to minimize mine accidents. Hence, very limited real-time monitoring systems are developed using a Real-time operating system (RTOS). Contiki-NG is a popular embedded application development framework for Wireless sensor networks and the internet of things (IoT). This paper provides a detailed roadmap to design a real-time monitoring system for underground coal using Contiki-NG. The System design comprises designing sensor node with modified RPL protocol and border router using TI CC2650 launchpad and raspberry pi 3. The Node-RED middleware collects data from the application environment using a sensor node. Store the data into the MongoDB database and visualizes sensed data in a web browser in the monitoring center. © 2024 IEEE.

Software effort estimation remains a persistent challenge and requires serious attention in the early stages of software project management. Inherent uncertainties arising from incomplete and inaccurate requirements pose a significant barrier to reliable estimations. Despite numerous efforts and various techniques proposed for cost estimation, the pursuit of improving estimation accuracy remains essential. In response to this challenge, this study introduces a novel model that integrates an Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System with the Ant Colony Optimization algorithm. The model is further compared with well-known evolutionary algorithms such as Differential Evolution, Genetic Algorithm, Artificial Neural Network, and Particle Swarm Optimization. Applying the proposed model to popular software effort estimation datasets, including Albrecht, Desharnais, and Kemerer, demonstrates its superiority over the mentioned algorithms. The improved estimation provided by this model can assist software project managers in better project cost estimation. © 2024 IEEE.

Trigeminal Neuralgia (TN) is a debilitating chronic pain disorder that significantly diminishes overall well-being, making diagnosis and therapy more challenging. The quick and precise categorization of TN severity is critical to therapy effectiveness. To assess the severity of TN, this study makes use of advanced machine learning techniques and explainable AI (XAI) approaches. We use a range of bagging and boosting strategies, including AdaBoost, Random Forest, Decision Tree, K-Nearest Neighbours (KNN), Gradient Boosting, and Logistic Regression. Random Forest was 95.2% accurate, whereas AdaBoost and Gradient Boosting were 92% and 97.2% in terms of their accuracy. The Decision Tree classifier obtained an accuracy of 84.62%, while K-Nearest Neighbours and Logistic Regression also achieved 92.31% accuracy. F1- score, precision, and recall metrics were used to assess performance on a dataset that included patient demographics and medical histories. XAI techniques, such as LIME and SHAP values, were used to improve the models' readability and transparency, which helped to progress the creation of cutting-edge diagnostic tools and increase clinician and researcher confidence. © 2024 IEEE.

Text summarization is a technique that converts large text into shorter ones by keeping its important information. Most of the available summarizers, summarize English language text. The availability of summarizers in other languages is rare. In the proposed work, abstractive text summarization (ATS) for the Hindi language has been used to generate headlines from news text. To build the model, a Hindi news dataset has been used that contains different news articles related to sports, politics, crime, etc. After pre-processing the text, Word2Vec method has been used for word embedding. ATS model has been built using the Seq2Seq model with attention. After that, we have calculated evaluation metrics like ROUGE and BLEU scores of the result summaries. We have also fine-tuned two pre-trained models, indicBART and multi-lingual variant of T5. After result comparison, it was found that the indicBART perform better than the other two models, considered for the experiment. © 2023 IEEE.

The management of radioactive sources is a critical process that ensures the safe and responsible handling of radioactive materials throughout their lifecycle. These sources require careful management from production to disposal, such as real-time tracking and radiation monitoring to follow everyone's safety rules and protect people and the environment. However, these sources present significant global challenges, especially regarding safety, security, and transparency. Current systems face limitations such as fragmented oversight, lack of accountability, and risks of unauthorized access. To address these limitations, this paper proposes a blockchain-based radioactive source lifecycle management system to manage the lifecycle of radioactive sources. Blockchain's decentralized and tamper-proof ledger secures data throughout the entire lifecycle of radioactive materials. By using smart contracts and access controls, the system ensures that only authorized parties can monitor and verify transactions in real-time, which reduces human error and prevents unauthorized changes to the data. Users can perform key operations such as retrieving source details, transferring ownership, updating source locations, and adding observers to our proposed system. Our experiment in designing and testing a blockchain application has proven the potential for a secure and transparent system that enhances global cooperation in managing radioactive sources. Overall, the proposed system not only addresses current challenges in radioactive source management but also enhances the tracking and monitoring of radioactive materials. © 2025 IEEE.

Fish size measurement in aquatic environments plays a pivotal role in understanding fish biology, ecology, and fisheries management. This survey explores various methodologies employed for fish size measurement, emphasizing their significance in aquaculture, fisheries, Ocean and ecological research. Techniques encompass both contact and non-contact methods, with advancements in imaging technologies allowing for non-invasive measurements. These approaches involve the use of cameras, image processing software, and advanced machinery to estimate fish size without causing stress or harm to the fish. While these methods offer promising avenues for precise measurements, challenges exist, including accuracy concerns and environmental limitations. Consequently, there's ongoing research to refine these techniques and ensure their applicability across different fish species and aquatic conditions. Prediction of meteorological phenomena using conventional techniques is always a challenge for meteorologists. We developed a novel method for predicting meteorological phenomena by using the Random Forest Model (RFM) and Rough Set Theory (RST). We have used RST to find the most significant meteorological phenomena, and then by using RFM, we have derived a set of predictive results. Using RST on vague meteorological data, we find that the significant meteorological phenomenon is wind speed. After using the RFM based on the outcome, we have predicted the wind speed. We used the Chi-square test to validate our claim. For our analysis, we collected various meteorological data from different parts of our Odisha state in India. © 2022 Bharati Vidyapeeth, New Delhi.

This paper describes our approach to submissions made at Shared Task 2 at BLP Workshop - Sentiment Analysis of Bangla Social Media Posts(Hasan et al., 2023a;Islam et al., 2021;Hasan et al., 2023b). Sentiment Analysis is an action research area in the digital age. With the rapid and constant growth of online social media sites and services and the increasing amount of textual data, the application of automatic Sentiment Analysis is on the rise. However, most of the research in this domain is based on the English language. Despite being the world’s sixth most widely spoken language, little work has been done in Bangla. This task aims to promote work on Bangla Sentiment Analysis while identifying the polarity of social media content by determining whether the sentiment expressed in the text is Positive, Negative, or Neutral. Our approach consists of experimenting and finetuning various multilingual and pre-trained BERT-based models on our downstream tasks and using a Majority Voting and Weighted ensemble model that outperforms individual baseline model scores. Our system scored 0.711 for the multiclass classification task and scored 10th place among the participants on the leaderboard for the shared task.
