The number of embedded system and the sensor network will continue to increase rapidly, at the same time, the necessity of the embedded OS is increasing at the embedded market. Moreover, because embedded device will be amalgamated with various form and will be used forward, we need to methodology to recognize the device in kernel on real-time while kernel is running. In this paper, we will suggest the method that the device driver can be inserted and removed to kernel dynamically. And we'll design the module to recognize the device driver, and show that we can reference the existing Linux OS when we design and develop it. © 2011 IEEE.

Since future power grids are inverter-dominant grids and inverters are getting smarter by incorporating remote access and seamless firmware update, it is anticipated that malware attackers will directly target smart inverters. However, malware threats targeting smart inverters have been less studied yet. This paper explores potential malware attacks targeting smart inverters and proposes a deep transfer-learning (DTL)-based malware detection framework for smart inverters. The proposed DTL method can significantly reduce development time and efforts for an artificial intelligence-based malware detection algorithm while improving detection accuracy. The experimental result shows that the proposed method achieves 98% of firmware malware detection accuracy. This approach will be transformative to other smart grid devices enabling seamless firmware update. © 2022 IEEE.

The emergence of Academic Social Networks (ASNs) has provided opportunities for researchers to upload their publication work, discuss issues with an author, ask questions and build a connection between the researcher communities. With this large information available online, there is need of analyzing the information propagation in ASNs. In this paper, we analyzed the topic propagation in ASNs. We have used the popular academic search engine, Google Scholar for data collection and statistical software 'R' for data analysis. We used a scrapper collect the data set from Google Scholar and around 500 papers were examined to find the propagation of the current trend of topics in the specific domain. The result helps the novice researchers to choose the current trending topics and work on the issues in this topic. © 2016 IEEE.

With the growth of the Internet, various types of services, such as World Wide Web (WWW), File Transfer Protocol (FTP), remote login, etc., are widely expanded. Consequently, it is difficult for users to manage all the authentication information, e.g., user ID/Password pairs, keys, and certificates, since the authentication information has been increased to use those services. Therefore, Single Sign-On (SSO) system, which makes all the services available for a user by only one-time authentication, has been developed. However, existing systems cannot provide all the SSO services for any kinds of services on the Internet even if the service provider deploys the SSO server. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a new SSO system with hardware token and key management server to improve the safety and the convenience. Furthermore, we implement the proposed system, and show its effectiveness through evaluation. In addition, adding any functions for this system provide various conveniences to us. As one example, we add high trust connection function for a Web server, and show its the effectiveness through evaluation by implementing it. © 2007 IEEE.

In each field, there is a need for better collaborative efforts among team members. The software development community is currently concentrating its efforts on developing tools that will make this endeavor easier. As a result, the two major purposes of a collaborative system are to solve the lack of community consciousness (since group members must be aware of one another) and to maintain flooring directive (i.e. provide means to manage access to shared resource in synchronous groupware systems). The goal of this study is to design a dynamic, extendable, and adaptable framework capable of handling challenges in synchronous community consciousness systems in order to solve these concerns. The major purpose of this study is to improve Simultaneous Collaboration Software Systems utilizing the structure analysis real-Time approach (SART), which is based on a multiagent system (MAS)). © 2022 IEEE.

Deep Neural Networks (DNNs) have achieved great successes in various machine learning tasks involving a wide range of domains. Though there are multiple hardware platforms available, such as GPUs, CPUs, FPGAs, and etc, CPUs are still preferred choices for machine learning applications, especially in low-power and resource-constrained computation environments such as embedded systems. However, the power and performance efficiency become critical issues in such computation environments when applying DNN techniques. An attractive optimization to DNNs is to remove redundant computations to enhance the execution efficiency. To this end, this paper conducts extensive experiments and analyses on popular state-of-The-Art deep learning models. The experimental results include the numbers of instructions, branches, branch prediction misses, cache misses, and etc, during the execution of the models. Besides, we also investigate the performance and sparsity of each layer in the models. Based on the analysis results, this paper also proposes an instruction-level optimization, which achieves the performance improvement ranging from 10.26% to 28.0% for certain convolution layers. © 2021 ACM.

The paper deals with a method and measurement system designed for the simultaneous monitoring and recording of time variations of electric quantities with no inter-correlation requirements. The method and measurement system were obtained by realizing a multi-unit data acquisition system (MUDAS), relying on at most 3 independent data acquisition systems which operate jointly, in a synchronous way, by means of a synchronizer. Because each of the individual data acquisition system can acquire data for at most 8 electrical quantities (4 voltages and 4 currents), the maximum total number of electrical quantities to be monitored, acquired, and transferred simultaneously to a central control unit is equal to 24. The sampling rate allows for the determination of power quality parameters according to existing standards. MUDAS can also be used in a structure with only 2 individual data acquisition system, in order to simultaneously acquire and display at most 16 electrical quantities. Two examples of utilization of MUDAS are presented. © 2023 IEEE.

The problem of computing the minimum size of a test set for a combinational circuit is considered. It is known that the minimum test set size of a combinational circuit can be determined in polynomial time for fanout free circuits, while even for circuits with non-reconvergent fanout, the minimum test set size problem is NP-Hard. We extend the class of circuits for which a minimum test set can be constructed in polynomial time to include a class of circuits with fanout, called restricted fanout circuits. Restricted fanout circuits are characterized using an undirected graph describing the structure of the circuit. The graph for these circuits must be free of (undirected) cycles. In addition, the paper demonstrates a novel application of dynamic programming to test generation problems. © 1991 Kluwer Academic Publishers.

A number of industry sectors such as Food & nutraceuticals, Pharma, Irrigation, Transport and Automobile use coconut and its parts for varied products. As different sectors make use of different type and parts of coconut, an automated separation of coconut Would aid in faster processing. Thus the major issue faced by these sectors is the automated sorting of coconut into different categories such as Non-Tender Coconut, Tender Whole coconut, Tender coconut cut With flesh and Without flesh. In this Work We have trained and tested a Decision Tree and DenseNet model to automatically classify coconut images into various categories. For Decision Tree 93% of accuracy Was obtained While the advanced Deep learning model, DenseNet, gave 100% accuracy. This showed that the Deep Learning models such as DenseNet perform better as compared to conventional machine learning algorithms such as Decision Tree. © 2023 IEEE.
