When integrated, blockchain technology and cloud computing (EC) may improve security and protect data. However, when data is sent to EC, the Internet of Things (IoT) device layer cannot guarantee data security. As a result, in the IoT ecosystem, end users and IoT devices are susceptible to assaults. Additionally, as the number of IoT devices rises and generates a large quantity of data, especially in mobile IoT devices, security concerns rise dramatically. High security and privacy standards are necessary for industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) applications in order to safeguard data and guarantee that IoT devices may seamlessly switch to another network. By utilising its decentralised structure, consensus process, and encryption features, blockchain technology can offer a solution. However, because IIoT devices have limited resources, the encryption procedure might be complicated. Actually, in order to secure communication between IIoT devices and EC, this research suggests a new security mechanism built on blockchain technology. Additionally, two security tiers will be used by the Elastic Blockchain Security Solution (EBC) to create a dynamic system for mobile IIoT devices. To evaluate the EBC solution's effectiveness, scalability, and performance, as well as its consensus method and encryption capabilities, it was put into practice and tested in a number of scenarios © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper, a novel approach for detecting islanding based upon image categorisation using Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is proposed. Images are used to derive the histogram of oriented gradient (HOG) characteristics so as to identify non-islanding as well as islanding events. In the suggestive method, spectrogram images are obtained from the time-series signal which are derived from the point of common coupling. These images are utilised to extract the features using histogram of oriented gradient, which is then utilised as a feature input for the ANN model for training as well as testing. It uses rate of change of negative sequence voltage parameter for deriving spectrogram image. The results from classification demonstrates that detection of islanding using ANN method and HOG features being used for image classification achieved excellent results with 97.3 % accuracy and mean square error of 0.0002. © 2024 IEEE.

Plastic plays a vital role in daily life most of the food items, Baggies, vegetables are packed in plastic material. As plastic is non-biodegradable there are harming effect on human beings and animals. Due to these global warming also increases. Although 80% Fishes, 88% Vertebrates, 56% Mammals and 52% Reptiles are affected due to plastic waste. In this work with the various techniques proposed like Eco-bricks, Furniture, Replace Plastic By Bamboo and also Doormats are made through the Plastic Waste. It is seen that by using above techniques significantly reduce the harmful effect of plastic and there is improvement in life of human beings and animals also the alternative techniques to reuse the plastic and to replace plastic are proposed with which there is a increase in the earning of poor peoples. Above techniques are helpful to decrease the employment and also by using these techniques more than 60% of plastic reuse, with this the temperature is also decreased. © 2024 IEEE.

The implementation of phasor measurement units (PMUs) in power grids has revolutionized the monitoring and management of power systems, allowing for precise voltage and current phasor measurements at high sampling rates. However, the increasing complexity and interconnectivity of power systems have led to the emergence of low-frequency oscillations, posing a significant threat to system stability. This article explores the use of the Dynamic Mode Decomposition (DMD) algorithm to accurately identify these oscillation modes from PMU measurements. Early detection of these oscillations is crucial for preventing potential blackouts and minimizing economic and societal impacts. The DMD technique is applied to an IEEE 10-Machine, 39-Bus system subjected to a fault, with real power flow measurements taken over specific lines. The methodology includes data collection, processing, and mode identification using the DMD algorithm. The algorithm effectively identifies dominant oscillation modes, their frequencies, and damping ratios, showcasing its potential for system analysis and control. This study demonstrates the applicability of the DMD algorithm to other power systems and its potential for real-time application and analysis of measurement noise impact. © 2024 IEEE.

In modern wireless technology, the compactness of the design is an essential factor to consider. A new non-quadrature, unequal power division coupler with an arbitrary coupling coefficient using coupled transmission lines is proposed in this work. As the designed coupler consists of only three coupled line sections, it requires less area than conventional branch-line couplers. For the optimum performance and error-free transmission of signals, bandwidth should be as maximum as possible. In this designed coupler, one can get the maximum coupling coefficient bandwidth in amplitude response, phase imbalance, and amplitude imbalance graphs. The generalized phase difference coupled line coupler's design equations are derived by even-odd mode analysis. © 2024 IEEE.

Energy is a key driving factor for everything. In this modern era, the world is facing two major issues one is an increment in population & and the second is the energy crisis. The conservation of energy is critical. It plays in the social economic development of the nation. Although with the new electrical generation options power demand and supply of electricity is somewhat managed. The usage pattern of electricity is also changed nowadays So;it is required to save energy by all means. The survey of a subsection of Dhule city is conducted. The ultimate purpose of a mobile robot is to do some tasks in addition to moving to a desired point, so it is very natural for a mobile robot to be equipped with a manipulator. Among many types of mobile robots, omni-directional mobile robot has been very popular because it has advantages in trajectory planning and control. In this paper, we deal with an omni-directional mobile manipulator that consists of a four Mecanum wheeled mobile robot platform and a manipulator mounted on it. In general, it is very difficult to solve inverse kinematics for a mobile manipulator because it has infinite solutions. Omni-directional mobile robot platform can move in any direction and can rotate on a pivot in a plane, so we propose it to be modeled as a manipulator with two prismatic joints and one revolute joint. Then the overall omni-directional mobile manipulator can be considered as a manipulator with an (n+3) DOF manipulator if the mounted manipulator has n DOF. We propose a weighted pseudo-inverse based method to solve the inverse kinematics problem at velocity level for the omni-directional mobile manipulator. In our method, in addition to a primary task of following end-effector trajectory, a secondary task of obstacle avoidance is accomplished by maximizing a performance index that represents a distance between a link of the manipulator and an obstacle. Simulation results showed the feasibility of the proposed method. © 2023 Korean Institute of electrical Engineers. All rights reserved.

Data sharing is becoming increasingly important as organizations seek to improve their operations and gain a competitive advantage. The data sharing between organizations, stakeholders, and even internal teams requires access control policies that define who can access what data, under what circumstances, and for what purposes. Attribute-based access control (ABAC) provides a flexible and fine-grained mechanism for enforcing such policies, preventing data leakage, and improving security and compliance. A challenge is that these policies should be able to support the agility and adaptability of constantly evolving modern industrial systems, where new data sources, services, and users are frequently added and removed. As the number of data sources and associated policies grows, the manual management of ABAC policies in evolving systems becomes a bottleneck, which prevents the adoption of fine-grained access control mechanisms. This paper presents a model based on tag-matching to automate the process of connecting new data sources and users to existing access control policies. In the proposed model, tag-matching means matching metadata elements to policy attributes to reduce the administrative work of managing access policies. The model takes advantage of the identity abstraction of ABAC policies to connect existing rules between attributes and the target resource or user. We present a proof-of-concept implementation of the tag-matching model in Eclipse Arrowhead and provide an evaluation of the proposed solution. © 2023 IEEE.

The world is moving more and more toward renewable energy sources as nonrenewable ones become less abundant. There are several benefits associated with this transformation, including lower costs, more accessibility, and lower emissions. With its potential for renewable energy, Bangladesh is a developing country. Addressing the severe energy crisis can be achieved by widely adopting and utilizing these renewable resources. This paper intends to provide an evaluation of the economic and technological aspects of hybrid renewable energy systems (HRES), both off-grid and on-grid, for Dhaka International University (DIU) in Bangladesh. The design and optimization of the systems are carried out using Helioscope and HOMER Pro software respectively. The pre-Homer analysis incorporates meteorological data collection, load profiling, and both technical and economic specifications of components. According to the simulation results and comparative analysis, the designed PV-Generator-Battery system exhibits the lowest cost of energy (COE) at 0.187 kWh, whereas the PV-Battery system shows a slightly higher value at 0.199 kWh. Meanwhile, the on-grid HRES stands out as the optimal system for the location with the lowest COE of 0.0656 kWh. Furthermore, a sensitivity analysis is carried out for the suggested systems, with scaled yearly solar radiation and fuel price serving as the sensitivity factors. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper presents a grid-connected water pumping system powered by a photovoltaic array with a bridgeless SEPIC PFC converter. The utility grid serves as a backup power source, sharing the full load with the PV array for continuous water pumping. Power sharing is regulated by a power factor-corrected bridgeless SEPIC converter, enhancing motor pump reliability. Using an FOPID controller improves power quality. The proposed system is simulated on mathematical computing platform (MATLAB/Simulink). © 2024 IEEE.
