In recent years, there has been a growing emphasis on information security, with major companies introducing cybersecurity teams to ensure the safety of data. However, there is a lack of convenient channels for general users to engage in cybersecurity protection, leaving them with no choice but to rely on various antivirus software installations to safeguard their privacy and financial assets. This phenomenon is particularly evident in the digital transformation of healthcare and medical information systems, where the substantial amount of digitized patient data has become a crucial asset within hospital systems. Unfortunately, it has also made healthcare systems potential targets for cyberattacks. The databases of major hospitals have become vulnerable to malicious virus invasions, posing significant threats to patient privacy and the operational integrity of healthcare institutions. Faced with such threats, there is an increasing need for comprehensive cybersecurity protection mechanisms. To address this issue, we have developed the Universal Binary Malware Analysis Framework (UBMAF), an easily accessible binary file analysis framework for the general public. UBMAF integrates multiple open-source static and dynamic analysis tools into an automated module, deployed as Software as a Service (SaaS) in the cloud for healthcare and medical systems. This eliminates the need for users to install applications, and the framework interface is optimized for intuitive usability. During the usage process, users can freely choose module combinations. After uploading files to UBMAF, the framework conducts corresponding tool analyses or file processing based on the selected modules. Ultimately, it provides users with downloadable results and analysis reports. This design enables large healthcare and medical systems to quickly and conveniently enhance their cybersecurity defenses while ensuring the security of digital medical data, effectively addressing the challenges brought abo

Brain tumors, identified as abnormal growth of cell inside the brain, necessitate accurate categorization for tailored treatment plans. This classification aids in determining the severity of the condition and guiding therapeutic decisions. Iimaging technologies in medical like Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) are instrumental in identifying brain pathologies without emitting ionizing radiation. Deep learning, a subset of AI, enhances brain tumor detection from MRI scans, improving prediction rates. Digital image processing is vital for medical image analysis and diagnosis. Brain tumors manifest in various forms, categorized as benign or malignant based on their tissue characteristics. Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), particularly VGG-16, Inception-v3, and ResNet-50 are prominent in brain tumor analysis, segmentation, and classification. These models are compared for their efficacy in identifying and forecasting brain tumor cells. Common brain tumor types include glioma, meningioma, and pituitary tumors, each requiring specific treatment approaches. © 2024 IEEE.

Adversarial machine learning (ML) attacks are stealthy attacks designed to mislead the ML model results. This paper explores adversarial ML attacks that generate adversarial noisy input data in an ML-based controller in a solar inverter. Three types of ML models, long short-term memory (LSTM), gated recurrent unit (GRU)), and bidirectional-LSTM (Bi-LSTM), are designed to replace proportional-integral (PI) controller-based vector control for a solar inverter and two white-box adversarial ML attacks (Basic Iterative Method (BIM) attack and Fast Sign-Gradient Method (FGSM)) are applied to the ML controllers. It is observed that the adversary ML attacks designed in stealthy way do not affect the PI controller, while significantly degrading performance of the ML-based controllers. Moreover, the BIM attack is more effective than FGSM and Bi-LSTM-based controller is relatively robust to the attacks compared to peer. © 2024 IEEE.

The development of the fetal brain is crucial for a child's cognitive and emotional maturation, highlighting the importance of early identification of neurological issues for effective prenatal care. This study introduces an innovative deep learning framework aimed at predicting fetal brain growth rates from 2D ultrasound images. We utilize a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) that combines longitudinal data with various imaging modalities to enhance prediction accuracy. By incorporating transfer learning alongside sophisticated techniques like attention mechanisms, our model adept.y captures both spatial and temporal dynamics within the data. Results from our experiments demonstrate that this approach outperforms conventional methods, achieving an accuracy. The findings of this research hold significant promise for prenatal healthcare by enabling timely interventions for high-risk pregnancies. Ultimately, this study contributes to a deeper understanding of fetal brain development and illustrates the potential of integrating AI technologies into standard prenatal diagnostic practices. © 2024 IEEE.

Specialized recruiting firms have emerged as a result of the expansion of the Indian employment market. These agencies use machine learning models to expedite the hiring process and provide their clients with the best candidates. In the field of combinatorial optimization, numerous methods have been developed to address complex problems, including assignment, scheduling, and resource allocation. This paper presents a comparative analysis of seven prominent optimization techniques: Hungarian Algorithm, Greedy Algorithm, Auction Algorithm, Linear Programming, Genetic Algorithm, Simulated Annealing, and Constraint Programming. We evaluate these methods on computational efficiency, scalability, and practical applicability, focusing on assignment problems. The analysis reveals that Hungarian Algorithm, Linear Programming, and Constraint Programming consistently deliver high accuracy across all matrix sizes, making them ideal for scenarios where solution precision is paramount. Conversely, the Greedy Algorithm excels in speed on smaller matrices but suffers from significant time and accuracy issues as matrix size increases. Additionally, while both Constraint Programming and Genetic Algorithm achieve high accuracy, their execution times rise considerably with matrix size, especially for Genetic Algorithm, which becomes impractical for large-scale problems. Thus, Hungarian Algorithm, Linear Programming, and Constraint Programming are optimal for accuracy-focused tasks, while Greedy Algorithm is preferable for smaller, speed-critical cases. © 2024 IEEE.

The Domain Algorithm visualizations are multimedia-based representations of algorithms that help students learn how they operate and behave. Algorithm visualizations provide numerous benefits to instructors and students, including an improved understanding of difficult algorithms in programming. By stripping down the complexities of algorithms and presenting them in simplified visual ways, students can obtain a more thorough knowledge of how they perform. Instructional approaches, such as guided instruction or discovery learning, are critical to the pedagogical effectiveness of algorithm representations. Guided instructions can considerably boost learners' overall performance in problem-solving activities that incorporate visualizations. At the same time, discovery education promotes exploration and experimentation, yet it may result in longer learning times and increased mental demands. A combination of these approaches is required for optimal effectiveness of instruction. In this paper, we investigate how the pedagogical effectiveness of algorithm visualizations should be determined by a variety of elements, including student characteristics, visual and cognitive processing ability, algorithm representation, and instructional context based on a literature review and interviews with field experts, and a bunch of recommendations is provided that has witnessed by authors during their long teaching periods. © 2024 IEEE.

As wind energy becomes a key player in the global transition to renewable energy, its variability presents significant challenges. Accurate wind ramp forecasting is crucial for managing such rapid fluctuations in wind power output, ensuring grid stability, and enhancing the reliability of renewable energy integration. This paper presents a short-term wind ramp forecasting model using a sequential approach: initially forecasting wind power through the integration of Variational Mode Decomposition (VMD) and the XGBoost algorithm, and subsequently detecting wind ramps using the Definition Based Sign Indicator (DSI) method. The historical wind speed and power data for Turkey was obtained from Kaggle. The dataset comprises readings from a wind turbine's SCADA system in Turkey, with measurements recorded at 10minute intervals. Variational Mode Decomposition (VMD) was applied to deconstruct and restore the historical wind power of the wind field, resulting in the formation of three training datasets. Wind power projections for the subsequent 8 hours, at 10 -minute intervals, are generated using historical wind power, wind speed, and wind direction as inputs. The DSI algorithm is employed to identify ramps. To assess the predictive capability of the proposed model, two algorithms, SVR and XGBoost, were employed for forecasting and the resulting error is minimal. The proposed model, VMD + XGBOOST is also compared without VMD to evaluate the performance. Taking mean square error (MSE), root mean square error (RMSE) mean absolute error (MAE), and symmetric mean absolute percentage error (sMAPE) as evaluation indicators, the results show that the forecasted accuracy of wind power is significantly improved after VMD processing. The performance of XGBOOST is better than SVR in the two evaluation indicators. Precision, Recall, and F1-score are calculated to evaluate the accuracy of the predicted wind ramps. © 2024 IEEE.

Efficient currency detection and counting systems are crucial for the smooth operation of any financial ecosystem. This paper explores the development, implementation, and potential impact of a specialized currency detection and counting system for Bangladeshi coin currencies. Through this comprehensive study, this paper addresses the unique challenges and opportunities in Bangladesh's coin currency management landscape, highlighting the motivations and results of such a system's introduction. computer vision technology includes currency detection. In this paper, we present a coin currency detection system that can detect coin currency from images. Designing a CNN-based coin recognition system for the recognition of Bangladeshi coins of denominations '1tk', '2tk', and '5tk'. We have created a dataset that contains more than 10,000 images. We photographed coin currencies from both sides, and the system can recognize coin currencies from both sides. For high efficiency, we test on various backgrounds. Experimental results are presented successfully with a training accuracy of 99.99% with VGG16, 99.38% with VGG19, and 99.99% with EfficientNetB0. We also got validation accuracy with VGG16 of 90.90%, 99.96% with VGG19, and 99.51% with EfficientNetB0. © 2024 IEEE.
