Gital et (2014) proposed a cloud based communication architecture for improving efficiency of collaborative virtual environment (CVE) systems in terms of Scalability and Consistency requirements. This paper evaluates the performance of the proposed CVE architecture. The metrics use for the evaluation is response time. We compare the cloud-based architecture to the traditional client server and peer-2-peer (P2P) architecture. The comparison was implemented in the CVE systems. The comparative simulation analysis of the results suggested that the CVE architecture based on cloud computing can significantly improve the performance of the CVE systems.

Object tracking is an important task within the field of computer vision. There are two key steps in video analysis: detection of interesting moving objects and tracking of such objects from frame to frame. Mean shift object tracking algorithm is a feature based algorithm. In this paper color inf.rmation of object are extracted as well as texture inf.rmation is also extracted by using local binary pattern technique to represent the object. In joint color-texture histogram region of interest is extracted and then edges and corners are extracted from the region of interest. Color histogram is insensitive to nondeformation and partial occlusion but it does not perform well when in case of color aberration. To overcome this drawback Local Binary Pattern method is used. This feature makes this algorithm more efficient in comparison of color histogram algorithm.

The Software defect management has become a critical issue with its increasing importance in sensor networks area. In this paper, it focuses on black box approach. Software defects can be found through model based testing. A state diagram is a good dynamic model that can test such a logical error of execution. However, the state diagram has a problem of complexity on the existing states and transitions. It is necessary to derive a state diagram in state based testing and find a method to solve its complexity problems. In order to use state diagram in software testing, its complexity has to be solved without the change of state and transition. This paper suggests a new notation called STMT (State Transition Mapping Tree) to solve the derived complexity without changing the state or transition. It also proposes an STMT automatic generation technique to derive a state diagram from a Java source code automatically. The suggested diagram can improve complexities partially, compared with UML state diagram.

Directional and stream data are common in many research fields. Wind speed and direction are the most important variables for effective wind energy utilization. It is also well known, that wind significantly inf.uences the current-carrying capacity of overhead power transmission lines. This shows the importance of knowing the annual wind direction distribution for specific locations, e.g. where wind farms or power transmission lines are situated. In this paper, a new method of wind direction distribution determination is presented. The statistical model is composed of a finite mixture of circular von Mises distributions. Parameters of the model are estimated using the heuristic search method of genetic algorithms. The quality of computed distribution is evaluated by Pearson's chi-squared test. The entire proposed procedure is tested using a case study. The results show that the model composed of a finite mixture of von Mises distribution corresponds to the input data with high significance level.

By combining the genetic BP neural network with the traditional analytical, A novel dynamic two-direction green wave coordinate control strategy was proposed, which applied in solving the function optimization problem. Adiabatic quantum computation has been proposed as quantum parallel processing with adiabatic evolution by using a superposition state to solve combinatorial optimization problem, then it has been applied to many problems like satisfiability problem. Among them, Deutsch and Deutsch-Jozsa problems have been tried to be solved by using adiabatic quantum computation. In the present day scenario of mobility and objects, the field of object oriented programming is gaining momentum not only in field of gaming, programming but also in area of DBMS. The paper discusses object oriented approach for solving queries. The queries are executed and analyzed specifically on an object oriented database DB4o. The industry is moving with time from basic models of DBMS to one such DBMS discussed in this paper. Experiments have been carried out using both DB4o and MySQL for a huge airport data base. The paper also discusses two factors namely Querying methodology and Performance analysis in comparison with traditional DBMS like MySQL.
