The proposed work aims at 5G base station antenna communication applications. The Reconfigurable Antenna is built with an idea of parasitic loaded elements in antenna. The proposed design has a zig-zag S-shape structure with a driven Monopole antenna located along the central axis and a parasitic structure enfolding around the monopole. Reconfiguration is accomplished by adjusting the PIN diodes bias voltages. The 2.44-9.46 GHz frequency range i.e., the Ultra-Wide-Band frequency spectrum is used at which this reconfigurable antenna is designed to operate. This paper has three radiation pattern which are obtained by two PIN diodes. Beam-steering capability in the elevation plane is achieved i.e., θ (0°-180°). The outcome shows the design's potential and its wide range concurrent applications for base station antennas. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper introduces an advanced approach to achieve real and reactive power control in grid-connected three-phase inverters under unbalanced grid conditions. A novel Proportional-Integral-Resonant (PIR) control strategy is proposed, aiming to address two primary objectives: maintaining balanced grid currents and point of common coupling voltages (PCC), while simultaneously injecting the grid with the desired real and reactive power. Comparative analyses with conventional Proportional-Integral (PI) and Proportional-Resonant (PR) controllers are conducted. The PI controller exhibits a better transient response and lower steady-state error compared to the PR controller. However, under unbalanced grid conditions, the PI controller exhibits oscillations in the real and reactive power output. In contrast, the PR controller effectively manages unbalanced situations and maintains power control. Thus, the proposed PIR method combines the advantages of both PI and PR controllers: superior transient response and lower steady-state error of PI, and effective handling of unbalanced conditions and power control of PR. The simulation and Hardwre’s experimental validation confirm the efficacy of the proposed method. © 2024 IEEE.

Over recent years, the prevalence of hate speech and provocative language on social media platforms has risen sharply, raising significant concerns about their impact on individuals and society at large. Hate speech can inflict harm on both individuals and groups, deepen societal divisions, and even incite violent acts. Therefore, the objective of the paper is to identify and eliminate hate speech from social media to help maintain a respectful and healthy online environment. The proposed work analyzes the BERT Model that has been fine-tuned by utilizing the Hugging Face library, to detect hate speech, offensive language, and neutral content. The aim of the research is to evaluate the model's accuracy and other performance metrics in identifying hate speech and offensive language. For training and testing, we employ a labeled dataset from Kaggle containing instances of offensive and hateful language. The BERT model uses a pre-trained tokenizer from the Hugging Face Transformers library, specifically the case-sensitive base BERT model, to tokenize and encode text for classification purposes. The model achieves an overall accuracy of 9 0%. © 2024 IEEE.

This study investigates the reduction of torque ripple in Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (PMSMs) during open-circuit fault (OCF) conditions using an adaptive Proportional-Integral-Resonant (PIR) control approach. Torque ripples, commonly exacerbated by faults in motor operation, result in undesirable vibrations, noise, and mechanical stress, thereby impacting the motor’s performance and longevity. The proposed PIR control method integrates a resonant controller with a conventional PI-current controller to enhance torque ripple suppression during OCF operation. Experimental validation, conducted using a dSPACE DS1104 platform, focuses on reducing torque ripple during OCF events. The results show that the adaptive PIR control method significantly reduces torque ripples, thus promoting smoother motor operation, increased efficiency, and increased reliability under fault conditions. © 2024 IEEE.

One of the abnormal cardiovascular conditions with the greatest rate of increase is heart failure (HF). There is a lot of correlation in the exterior symptoms observed that are typically ignored, particularly when there is progression from one stage to another. Planning an efficient treatment requires grouping patients into different phenotypic categories. In CMR imaging, these conditions show damaged heart muscles. Understanding the classification performance of ELM aided by optimal texture features is the main aim of the proposed work. In this study, Krawtchouk moment and the co-occurrence of neighboring sparse local ternary pattern descriptors are used to extract texture and anatomical information of LV. However, an effective feature selection strategy is required to handle the high dimensionality of the feature vector. The primary benefit of the Pelican optimization algorithm (POA), which takes inspiration from nature, is its capacity to carry out both global and local searches effectively. This paper suggests usage of multi-objective POA to optimize the proportion of extracted features and improve the performance of the ELM classifier. The people with various HF stages have been diagnosed with the maximum accuracy of 95.7 % as a result of this inclusion. The enhanced traits have distinguished moderate and severe HF patients from control participants with significant performance. The proposed work further shows the impact of tissue characterization from CMR image and optimized features-based classification on the HF stage detection. © 2023 IEEE.

The primary component in this paper is to investigate the facial emotional states and EEG indicators, especially in pressure, for the duration of the interplay with games. The proposed paper identifies sure precise expressions in game enthusiasts whose facial feelings are segmented frames were separated into special areas, then the mind indicators are classified based on their frequencies, ranges are also analysed, and the signal value is *** on facial features are extracted from the localized areas, used fuzzy c-means class, and directed onto an emotion space. Then the EEG sign price is evaluated with the brink fee. After that, the strain data can be ship thru by using a SMS alert by using GSM module and buzzer alerts the use of Arduino micro controller. This research introduces a novel hybrid CMOS design model for a 1-bit full adder that addresses the requirements for improved noise-robustness, enhanced drivability, and reduced power consumption in deep submicron technology. The adoption of a hybrid style based on CMOS was explored to fulfil the desired performance of implementing new, fully-featured adders. More freedom to concentrate on different applications allows designers to drastically cut design efforts. There exist various unique designs for the full adder (FA), but this research proposes a new FA design implemented using CMOS technology with 90nm. The design employs an XOR-XNOR circuit that produces exclusive OR/exclusive NOR full-swing outputs and is utilized to construct FA is presented first. The proposed work offers improvement in latency and power delay products by 6.27 to 38.24 and 13.27 percent, respectively, over the prior design. © 2023 IEEE.

Memetic Algorithm Based Routing in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) is an innovative approach for optimizing data transmission routes within a network of interconnected sensors. Traditional routing algorithms often fail to consider the dynamic and resource-constrained nature of WSNs, resulting in inefficient energy utilization and decreased network lifetime. By incorporating principles of natural selection, crossover, and mutation from genetic algorithms, along with local search methods, memetic algorithms offer a more adaptive solution. This research aims to implement a memetic algorithm to find the optimal routing paths while minimizing energy consumption and maximizing data delivery ratio. Preliminary results indicate a significant improvement in the network's overall performance metrics, including a longer lifespan and higher data reliability, compared to traditional routing methods. © 2023 Elsevier B.V.. In this commentary article, we outline research challenges and possible directions for the potential applications of AI in the judicial domain by specifically considering process analysis in the Italian context. Applying AI to process analysis poses several challenges, including information extraction from legacy information systems and analysis of legal documents, process modeling with a particular emphasis on temporal analysis, real-time process monitoring, conformance and compliance checking, predictive techniques for accurate predictions, and analysis of judges' workload. Solutions to these challenges include methods and tools for data identification and collection, innovative approaches to process modeling, reactive techniques for real-time monitoring, conformance checking with explainability, language models adapted to specific domains, and the identification of suitable indicators for the analysis of case handling efficiency and case classification. Modern power systems are facing significant challenges due to the massive penetration of renewable energy sources (RES). Recently, issues related to frequency security, system strength, and excessive fault levels have been experienced in some power systems. Classical dynamic security assessment (DSA) tools have not been developed to identify and analyze these new challenges that are critical in low-inertia grids. In this paper, a DSA tool has been developed that evaluates frequency security, system strength, and maximum fault levels to allow for secure system planning and operation. Furthermore, to increase the accuracy of the DSA tool, inverter-based resources' (IBRs') protections and capabilities have been incorporated in the DSA tool. A real-time operation and an operational planning application of the DSA tool are showcased using the islanded Cyprus Power System. © 2024 IEEE.
