In this paper we proposed diagnosis system in which we could use simultaneously pulse and tongue diagnosis data, and measurement data of oxygen saturation using technology of bluetooth. And also we developed adaptive wireless acupuncture system by using pulse diagnosis system to adjust strength and time of acupuncture and several acupuncture points of patients for whom intellectual fuzzy technology is applied. With this acupuncture system we can obtain optimal acupuncture time and use at any where and any time easily by input our physical condition to smart phone and in the web. We implemented smart wireless electronic acupuncture system to get acupuncture easily using intelligent diagnosis system. © 2014 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.

KM3NeT is a research infrastructure located in the Mediterranean Sea, that will consist of two deep-sea Cherenkov neutrino detectors. With one detector (ARCA), the KM3NeT Collaboration aims at identifying and studying TeV-PeV astrophysical neutrino sources. With the other detector (ORCA), the neutrino mass ordering will be determined by studying GeV-scale atmospheric neutrino oscillations. The first KM3NeT detection units were deployed at the Italian and French sites between 2015 and 2017. In this paper, a description of the detector is presented, together with a summary of the procedures used to calibrate the detector in-situ. Finally, the dependence of muon rate between 2232−3386 m seawater dept. is compared with a parameterisation of the underwater muon flux. Copyright © 2019, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Compound comparison is an important task for computational chemistry. By the comparison reulsts, potential inhibitors can be found and then used for the following experiments. The time complexity of a pairwise compound comparison is O(n~2), where n is the maximal length of compounds. In general, the compound length is small, and the cost of computation time is short. However, more and more compounds have been synthesized and extracted now, even more than ten of millions. Therefore, it still will be time-consuming when comparing with a large amount of compounds (multiple compound comparisons). In this paper, we propose a parallel algorithm for multiple compound comparisons on multi-GPUs. Four load-balancing strategies were considered in the proposed algorithm in order to accelerate the computation speed among thread blocks on GPUs. The proposed algorithm was implemented by C+OpenMP+CUDA, and achieved more than 50 times speedup by comparing with its CPU version under the experiemtal results.

The video streaming service over Wireless Mesh Networks (WMNs) is an attractive feature for live streaming and video conversation when disaster occurs. The path construction with the conventional metrics e.g., throughput, latency, or packet loss rate, suffers from the repeated waiting time due to the CSMA/CA since paths are concentrated on nodes with good metric. As a consequence, it brings about throughput fluctuation of video streaming service. We propose two metrics that reflect on the magnitude of CSMA/CA interference around a node in order to select a path that the throughput of video streaming session will get stable. The first metric is calculated from the number of received Request To Send (RTS)/Clear To Send (CTS) frames. Since the number of RTS/CTS reflects on the frequency of the packet transmission around a node, a source node can chooses a path which does not make a node waiting for constant time due to the CSMA/CA on the existing path that might use streaming service. The second metric uses the number of neighbor nodes and we set the larger metric value as more nodes exist. The idea comes from the fact that a node which has few neighbor nodes does not much interfere other established paths. The proposed metrics can be easily installed into Hybrid Wireless Mesh Protocol (HWMP) which is a de facto standard path selection protocol defined in IEEE802.11s. We show that the proposed metrics can achieve lower rate of throughput fluctuation than that of conventional metric by using the networks simulator Qualnet.

Vehicle classification and counting play an important role in the intelligent transportation system, as they may serve to improve traffic congestion and safety problems. Therefore, this study has developed a real-time and vision-based vehicle classification and counting system. This will involve establishing Time-Spatial Images (TSI) from input video, removing the shadow portions in TSI through the use of Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Deterministic Non-Model Based Approach, detecting the Region of Interest (ROI) through a simple morphology process, and finally using the ROI accumulative curve method and Fuzzy Constraints Satisfaction Propagation (FCSP) to process occlusion problems and perform vehicle classification and counting. The experimental results have shown that the proposed method is feasible.

Mobile ad hoc molecular nanonetwork (MAMNET) introduces a new paradigm for the realization of future nanonetworks. In MAMNET, the transmission of nanoscale information between nanomachine and infostation is based on collision and adhesion process. In this study, we develop a single input single output (SISO) molecular communication system for transmitting nanoscale information. We employ the features of MAMNET, taking into account the electronic structure of the neurotransmitter, which affects the collision and adhesion process. Consequently, we deploy a realistic adhesion process by determining the critical velocity required for two molecules to adhere. The critical velocity is a function of molecule size, hardness, density and inter-molecule near-field interaction. The metrics performance of SISO system is measured in terms of average packet delay, throughput and incurred traffic rate. The numerical results show the effectiveness of the proposed SISO system in the future nanonetworks. © 2014 IEEE.

A practical design of user specific watermarking for tracking possible pirated copies of digital videos is presented in this research. The information of a video recipient is represented by the watermark, which helps to trace the origin of video distribution when an illegal copy is found. A video streaming application is considered so the original video is assumed to be a compressed bitstream processed by such codec as MPEG-4. The watermark is embedded into the partially decoded bit-stream to reduce the computational burden of the video server. The blind watermark detection is adopted to ensure the feasibility. The Scale Invariant Feature Transform (SIFT) is employed to select interest points in scene-change frames for locating suitable areas for watermarking. The embedded watermark is designed to reasonably resist trans-coding procedures. The experimental results verify the claimed advantages.

A random sector graph ψZ(Xn, r, ?, A) consists of n same size circular sectors with sector degree ?, which uniformly randomly distribute in space A. This kind of graphs is appropriate for modeling an ad hoc wireless sensor network consisting of n mobile devices with a directional antenna that are independently and uniformly distributed randomly in an interested area. Computing sub graph probability in RSGs is shown to be a useful tool for counting the number of induced sub graphs, which explores fairly accurate quantitative property on topology of wireless ad hoc sensor networks. To the best of our knowledge, this work presents the first paradigm to compute the sub graph probability of random sector graphs (with sector degree ? less than 60) in a systematical way.

A novel identification approach for identifying photographic images (PIM) and photorealistic computer graphics (PRCG) is proposed by using multifractal spectrum features of photo response non-uniformity noise (PRNU). 8 dimensions of multifractal spectrum features of PRNU are extracted to represent the subtle differences between them, and the identification is carried out by using a support vector machine (SVM) classifier. Experimental results and analysis indicate that the proposed method can achieve an average identification accuracy of 98.99%, and has good performance in the ratios between training samples and testing samples. Besides, it is robust against some manipulations such as adding noise, JPEG compression and motion blur.

Different information related to knowledge should be collected and filtered by system in order to discover and integrate knowledge in multiple knowledge representation environment. Especially, various information exist in multiple forms and in separate spaces, such as geographic information, housing statistics, and policy statements, in housing planning doamin. Housing policy support system is needed to make a proper spatial decision for supply housing when housing demand is occured. Thus, this paper proposes a conceptual design of system for knowledge discovery and integration in housing planning support. This system uses GIS based Housing Demand and Supply Mapping Model (HDSMM) to support policy decision using housing statistics and geographic information and to be composed of multi-dimension analysis, policy monitoring functionalities. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2014.
