Online customer reviews have developed into a significant source of information about a business's performance. Due to shifting consumer expectations and growing internet penetration, the Middle East, especially Jordan, is seeing an increase in the usage of online banking. This propensity toward digital transition has been accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Mobile banking service companies aim to effectively use customers' feedback to identify areas for improvement in customer satisfaction. Although Arabic is becoming one of the most widely used languages on the Internet, only a few studies have focused on Arabic sentiment analysis to date. The present study conducts an extensive emotion mining and sentiment analysis on mobile banking reviews in Arabic, exploiting machine learning, natural language processing, and resampling methods to obtain subjective feedback, determine polarity, and identify customers' feelings in the banking domain. This work walks the reader through detailed steps of cleaning and preprocessing a manually annotated dataset of online banking reviews in Arabic, followed by features extraction and modeling, dataset splitting, and balancing training data. Finally, we examined classification algorithms including Decision Tree (DT), Support Vector Machine (SVM), Logistic Regression (LR), Naïve Bayes (NB), K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), and Random Forest (RF). Ensemble hard and soft voting ML methods were also evaluated. We achieved a maximum accuracy of about 94% using the LR classifier and a maximum precision of 94% using the LR and hard voting methods. Our methodology will enable banks to acquire insights on how to develop their online presence and meet the demands of customers and stakeholders. © 2023 IEEE.

Automated scoring of short answers is becoming increasingly important nowadays, as more classes are taking place online due to COVID-19 outbreaks. Over the past 50 years, different techniques have been applied to develop ways of assessing short answers automatically. The automated assessment of short answer questions has been used with varying kinds of questions in different domains. However, no interoperable tools have been developed to facilitate the automated assessment of short answers for common modules across educational institutions. In this paper, we present a novel system called OBMAAQ, which grades short answers for questions designed according to Bloom's revised taxonomy remember category. The proposed system uses publicly available domain ontologies to grade short answers in different subject areas. This method is unique as it does not use model answers since it relies solely on the domain ontologies by utilizing an ontology-based pruning technique to grade the students' responses. The purpose of the system is to allow teachers from different educational institutions to use a similar approach when assessing the short answers for common modules automatically. Two publicly available domain ontologies in the field of security and computer networks have been used to validate students' answers. Experimental results based on both datasets indicate some promising results even though it is less than the set thresholds. This paper discusses the lessons learned and future recommendations based on the OBMAAQ model. © 2023 IEEE.

Urban heat islands raise surface temperatures, which has an effect on city dwellers’ health and welfare. Urbanisation-related changes to the land surface, which are especially notable right after sunset, have an impact on radiative forcing. Recently, there has been a surge in the usage of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) technology, particularly for precision agriculture and plant phenotyping. This is due to the declining cost and increased accessibility of both UAVs and thermal imaging sensors. This interruption affects subsequent operations like target item categorisation and water quality parameter inversion. The goal of this study was to evaluate the potential for combining machine learning (ML) with unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)–based imaging technology. In this research, the novel technique in UAV image–based temperature pattern detection of various regions of earth and their sea level rise analysis using image classification by machine learning model. Here, the input is collected as UAV images which have been processed for noise removal and normalisation. These image features have been extracted using convolutional active contour–based kernel component analysis and classified using region-based fuzzy stacked lasso elastic-net model. The classified output shows temperature analysis with sea level rise based on image analysis. The experimental analysis has been carried out for various UAV image dataset in terms of detection accuracy, RMSE, F-measure, mean average precision (MAP), and recall. Proposed technique F-measure of 89%, detection accuracy of 96%, MAP of 94%, recall of 92%, and RMSE of 60%. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.

Genetic algorithms are widely used for solving optimization problems. As the search space of the problem is augmented, the probability of falling into local minima will be augmented as well. Previous works showed that the adjusted phase (i.e. required modification per generation), may enhance badly the optimality reaching. Moreover, the search for suitable probabilities on crossover and mutation results in huge computational complexity. Recent developments in quantum technology have shown that quantum computers can provide a dramatic advantage over classical computers. This paper will be oriented toward computer scientists interested in the quantum genetic algorithm (QGA). Therefore, we will present a discussion, of the pros, and cons of classical GA. We survey the 'state of the art' of the most known techniques for evolving evolutionary algorithms and quantum computing. We intend in this work to help researchers and application developers in gaining insights into the power of quantum computing mechanisms. This science can inherently treat the balance between exploration and exploitation of the search space. This property is due to the use of Q-bits. The orientation toward the best solution is due to the use of Q-gates. © 2023 IEEE.

This is outlined how to create a 3D custom kitchen design, including how to set up the sources, details, work with managing various modifiers like edit poly, slice, mesh select, turbo smooth, lattice, bend, shell modifier, so to provide the kitchen an authentic appearance. The method materials are fitted to the model output, together with illuminating the environment leveraging Arnold lights that are intended to be utilized with this renderer only. It has features that are optimised for rendering with Arnold. Procedures and methods regarding rendering are indeed specified. The final rendering was made out of several drawings. Our report's intention is to develop a kitchen design that enriches models with materials and ample shapes from standard extended primitive along with the mostly utilization of pro-boolean. Finally, a material editor was used to improve the model. target illumination, too. © 2023 IEEE.

The controller area network (CAN) protocol is widely used in vehicle networks. However, it lacks essential security features like confidentiality and authentication. To enhance vehicle security, researchers have proposed and developed various methods, including intrusion detection systems.(IDSs). These IDSs play a key role in early detection of potential cyberattacks, safeguarding vehicles, passengers, and road users. Machine learning (ML) algorithms are increasingly employed in CAN IDSs but they face challenges due to diverse experimental settings, datasets, and metrics used for evaluation, impeding progress and comparison of different approaches in this field. This study aims to benchmark well-recognized ML algorithms, including gaussianNB, k-nearest neighbors (KNN), decision trees (DT), random forest (RF), long short-term memory (LSTM), and convolutional neural networks (CNN), for intrusion detection in CAN. We evaluate the performance of these algorithms using seven evaluation metrics on the real ORNL automotive dynamometer (ROAD) dataset, a state-of-the-art benchmark in this field. Experimental results demonstrate that KNN, DT, RF, LSTM, and CNN can detect various types of attacks (e.g., Fuzzing, targeted ID, and masquerade attacks) with high accuracy. However, the computational and time efficiency of tree-based classifiers, namely DT and RF, makes them a potentially appealing choice for real-time intrusion detection tasks in CAN. © 2023 IEEE.

The Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) revolutionizes healthcare by integrating medical devices and systems.with the internet. However, the vast amounts of sensitive medical data in IoMT networks pose significant security and privacy concerns. Traditional security measures often fall short in identifying the malicious data attacks within the IoMT ecosystems. This paper introduces an AI-based non-malicious data classification scheme based on blockchain. We applied and evaluated the machine learning (ML) classifiers, such as support vector machine (SVM), random forest (RF), and K-Nearest neighbor (KNN). We evaluated the proposed framework based on various performance metrics that includes accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score. The accuracy using SVM obtained 75.3%, RF is 75.9%, and KNN is 84.3%. The results shows that KNN performs better than other models by the factor of 9%. © 2024 IEEE.

The step-by-step process of creating a bookshelf design is specified, including the ProBoolean compound primitive, applying edit poly modifier, using detach option, making use of lattice modifier, using bend modifier, using twist modifier. The manner in which materials are added to the model, together with environment lighting and renderer configuration, is defined. Procedures and methods for rendering are also defined. What we aim to achieve through our research is to create a Bookshelf design that uses materials to enhance the models. The shapes used in the model were Box, Teapot, sphere, chamfercyl, Oiltank, ProBoolean compound. The modifiers used were edit poly, bend, twist, lattice. Afterwards we used the Arnold light and material editor to enhance and glorify the model. © 2023 IEEE.

This study presents a dipper-throated-based ant colony optimization (DTACO) with the Seasonal Auto-Regressive Integrated Moving Average with eXogenous factor (SARIMAX) model (DTACO+SARIMAX) to forecast monkeypox cases. The work optimizes the SARIMAX model using grid search cross-validation and fine-tunes its hyperparameters using DTACO to improve prediction accuracy. The suggested model's consistency and accuracy are considerable compared to previous studies. Comparisons with state-of-the-art models validate the proposed model's predictions. DTACO+SARIMAX can be used to control disease and monitor monkeypox. Healthcare organizations and governments can better manage and track the pandemic's course by offering accurate predictions, reducing public panic, and enabling effective pandemic planning. The Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and Wilcoxon signed-rank tests are conducted on the proposed DTACO-SARIMAX model and compared models. © 2023 IEEE.

Access to well-curated large datasets remains a significant bottleneck in AI-based research within wireless communication. Rapid advancements in neighbouring fields, such as computer vision and natural language processing, are largely due to the availability of extensive open-access datasets. However, similar progress has not been observed in wireless communication. To address this gap, we curated a comprehensive dataset for fifteen digital modulation schemes, including 4QAM, 16QAM, 64QAM, 256QAM, 8PSK, 16PSK, 32PSK, 64PSK, 128PSK, 256PSK, CPFSK, DBPSK, DQPSK, GFSK, and GMSK. Our dataset considers Rayleigh and Rician channel models under Additive White Gaussian Noise (A WGN) with SNRs ranging from -20dB to + 20dB in 5dB increments. The data samples were converted to constellation signal images and carefully pre-processed. Named RadioModRec, this dataset provides a valuable resource for researchers to train and evaluate AI models. It is freely accessible on Kaggle, promoting further innovation in the wireless communication domain. © 2024 IEEE.
