Because of poor blood flow and susceptibility to infections, breast cancer can be challenging to heal and, if not treated, might cause major problems, including limb amputation and a lowered quality of life. Though several systems.exist to identify breast cancer, few combine machine learning (ML), deep learning (DL), and optimization strategies. This work presents a novel method leveraging complex algorithms to precisely identify breast cancer from ultrasound images. The study utilizes a dataset from a secondary source, categorizing it into three identical classes: normal (Class 0), benign (Class 1), and malignant (Class 2). It extracts features using pre-trained convolutional neural networks (CNNs), optimizes these features using the Differential Evolution Algorithm (DEA), and classifies images using standard machine learning algorithms. To show how well it detects breast cancer, the approach combines seven conventional ML classifiers with ten pre-trained CNN models. Using DenseNet121 + DEA + Xtreme Gradient Boosting (XGB) Classifier, DEA chooses important features derived by CNNs with a high accuracy of 97.76%. However, the proposed method can be very effective for real-time breast cancer screening using ultrasound images.

The outbreak of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has had a profound impact on education worldwide. The rise of remote learning is one of the most significant changes in this regard, as many schools and universities were forced to close down by regional health authorities. This has also caused people to become more conservative in trade-offs between healthcare and education. Google Trends is the most common tool for analyzing online search behaviors. It is a free resource that provides information on the trends and changes in users' online interests over time based on certain terms and subjects. The online search queries on Google can be used to assess users' behaviors concerning online learning to forecast their choices regarding online education. This paper examines the frequency of users' web searches for online communication tools, courses, and learning terms. We statistically compared users in the Middle East and North Africa regions by using the volumes of searches recorded on Google Trends from January 2016 to August 2022. Moreover, we used machine learning techniques to identify differences among the keywords used. The findings statistically show that COVID-19 has led to an increase in the extent of students' attention to and interest in online learning. © 2023 IEEE.

An effective education system transforms the teaching and learning process into innovative idea generation and independent working ability. A blended education system is the representation of effective education that connects the teachers, students, and educational institutions for content development, delivery of effective teaching methods, and choice-based learning. The motive for initiating the research work was to address the demand for outcome-based learning in society that can fulfill the sector-wise human resource requirements and sector skill development. A blended education system helps to design effective courses and degrees with the capacity of choosing subjects, lectures, and teachers either in online or offline mode of education. The system may also assist in preparing the learning pattern like classroom-based learning, internship-based learning, or learning through project works. The researchers identified the dependent and independent variables with the help of expert opinion. The questionnaire was designed with all relevant questions based on the variables and refined through a pilot study. The research outcomes are described by understanding the nature of quantitative data using statistical tools like frequency distribution, t-test, and ANOVA test with the connectivity of qualitative data and the reality of social issues. © 2023 IEEE.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects social communication and interaction. Early diagnosis of ASD can mitigate the severity and help with ideal treatment direction. computer vision-based methods with traditional machine learning and deep learning are employed in the literature for automatic diagnosis. Recently, deep learning with a facial image-based ASD classification has gained interest due to its ease of collection and non-invasiveness. We observed that the existing approaches utilized either local or global features of facial images to diagnose ASD. However, its important to consider both local and global features to obtain fine-grained details and larger contextual information for accurate detection and classification. This paper proposes a sequencer-based patch-wise Local Feature Extractor along with a Global Feature Extractor. Finally, the features from these modules are aggregated to obtain the final feature for the classification of ASD. Experiments on a publicly available Autism Facial Image Dataset demonstrate that our proposed framework achieves state-of-the-art performance. We achieved accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score of 94.7%, 94.0%, 95.3%, and 94.6%, respectively. © 2023 IEEE.

In the process of quality analysis of grains, number counting is one of the key steps for agricultural production. Traditional manual grain counting methods are time-consuming and subject to human error, and automated methods have the potential to improve accuracy and save time. In this study, we aimed to develop an image analysis-based method to automatically quantify the number of grains in a quicker manner. The 576 grain images were collected manually, and labelImg tagging tool used to annotate to generate a text file with their respective positions by drawing bounding boxes manually. The datasets consist were separated into three groups: training, validation, and test. For object detection, the YOLOv5, YOLOv4, and YOLOv3 algorithms represent cutting-edge deep learning frameworks. They replace the tedious and error-prone manual counting process by precisely identifying and counting grains in images obtained from agricultural fields. This technique helps to increase grain counting's precision and effectiveness. We believe this method will be extremely beneficial in guiding the development of high throughput systems.for counting the number of grains in other crops as it performs well with a wide range of backgrounds, picture sizes, grain sizes, as well as various quantities of grain crowding. When compared to the other two approaches, YOLOv4 performed well in terms of accuracy, speed, and robustness (97.65%), demonstrating that the suggested strategy is competitive with other cutting-edge deep networkst. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper proposed Scalability in Autoencoder-based Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing(OFDM) communication system. In the previous research, only the comparison between IEEE802.11a and Autoencoder by the conventional OFDM communication system was performed, and it was proved that the communication system created by Autoencoder exceeded the performance of the conventional system. Therefore, in this paper, it uses IEEE802.11n and compare whether it can be improved by expanding the bandwidth and using ***802.11n standard has an FFT length of 128, a subcarrier number of 114 (108 for data), and modulation schemes of Quadrature Phase Shift Keying(QPSK), 16 Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (16QAM). The GI length is 800ns and the symbol length is 4000ns. In the simulation, a computer simulation was performed using a conventional OFDM communication system and a communication system generated by Autoencoder. Assuming that the simulation environment had an Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) of 0 to 30 and an amplitude r of 0.0 to 1.0, the Symbol Error Rate (SER) status for each SNR was output. As a result of computer simulation, QPSK converged at SNR 27 at IEEE 802.11a, but was able to reduce SER overwhelmingly to SNR 12 at IEEE 802.11n. Also, in 16QAM the convergence at r=0.0 is the same as for SNR22 , but in IEEE 802.11a it does not converge after r=0.6, but in IEEE 802.11n it does not converge only at r=0.9 and r=1.0. As a future task, it will use IEEE802.11ac, which enables communication speeds several times faster than IEEE802.11n, examine whether it is possible to further improve accuracy. And it will continue our research to correspond MIMO communication. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper presents an analytical study and a technique for extracting the features of a common case of images of the iris called off-angle iris which was taken for persons identification systems. The main problem when using biological iris measurements to identify the persons is the difficulty of identifying and extracting features of the iris. This problem is increasing when dealing with off-angle iris and it leads to decreased system accuracy and increased system rate error. In return, all the transfer learning techniques face difficulties in the case of heavily degraded data and partially occluded, and off-angle. A new method has a whole new methodology to deal with the image as it is without transformation processes. A new algorithm has been included for extracting features of the iris through the pupil switching points. The most discriminating points of the iris depend on the biological human eye statistics and analytical study. It has been trained and tested on the common images of the off-angle iris database so-called: 'CASIA Iris 1.0'. It has been implemented in the MATLAB environment. The results showed the efficiency of this technique, high precision and more importantly low failed acceptance rate. It emphasized that it is adaptive as well as efficiency improvement of the system. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper discusses intelligent constellation generation based on autoencoder communication system. In previous studies, the amplitude was set to fluctuate between r=0.0 and 1.0. However, when checking the generated constellation, distortion was confirmed instead of the conventional symbol arrangement. Therefore, in this paper, it compares the case where the amplitude is constant, the case where the average amplitude within a Minibatch is 1, and the case where the average amplitude is 1 for Interval time. The communication standard used in this research is IEEE 802.11a, assuming wireless Local Area Network (LAN) specifications. The IEEE 802.11a standard has an Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) length of 64, a subcarrier number of 52, and Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (QPSK) and 16 Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM), modulation methods. A guard interval of 800 ns is added and the symbol length is 4000 ns. First, a simulation was performed under the condition that the amplitude was kept constant. QPSK with 4 symbols, constant amplitude model is rounded more than previous research result. 16QAM with 16 symbols is arranged regularly like lined up on a line. Second, the simulation was performed under the condition that the average amplitude within the minibatch was set to 1. QPSK with 4 symbols, appears to rotate clockwise. 16QAM with 16 symbols has a more uniform symbol placement than previous research result. Third, a simulation was performed under the condition that the average amplitude within Interval time was set to 1. QPSK with 4 symbols, is the closest to square among QPSK output results so far. The direction is slightly tilted, but if it can be rotated a little more, it may be possible to reproduce the same symbol arrangement as before. 16QAM with 16 symbols, the symbol arrangement is biased as a whole. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a revolutionary technology disrupting the process of finding solutions for various sustainability challenges. This paper offers a comprehensive overview of AI's applications in sustainable resource management, with a special focus on green agriculture as a case study, in which the application of AI greatly enhances the efficiency of resource use, crop yield, and environmental conservation efforts. This overview describes the potential application of AI to address performance concerns (ethical value, energy use, and data quality deficiency), and proposes the future research directions such as the explainable AI, circular economies, and the integration of AI with the Internet of Things (IoT) to guide researchers and policymakers in exploiting AI to enhance sustainability in key domains.
